DESCRIPTION
In which a young asgardian gets pulled into some superhero bullshit

Or

In which satori Salvador finally heals the wounds he mother created with the help of her best friend not realising she's falling in love with him

SUMMARY

Satori Salvador is a lot of things. An asgardian? Yes. A witch with a bit of a powerful twist? Also yes. A superhero? She'd laugh at you for even suggesting such a thing.

Sure she's powerful, being the daughter of an Asgardian witch who was the leader of the coven that raised the late Frigga, queen of Asgard. But she had no agenda in saving the lives of this planet. Well not with her powers at least, probably never in that way.

You can't exactly blame her for not wanting to go on that path. I mean her mother is best friends with Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder himself. Now that should be a blessing but in her eyes it was a curse.

For there have been several moments and milestones in her childhood that her mother missed because she was to busy playing hero to even remember she had a daughter. Over and over she'd leave her in their shared apartment for long periods of time. Her mother leaving may have allowed her to grow more independent and adaptive to such situations but she's only 17 and as much as she hated to admit it, there have been several moments where she missed her mother.

The way she'd make her Mac and cheese or their dance parties on the way to school every morning or the way she used to use her powers to make the bed time story's play out in front of her eyes.

Those were the things that made Satori not hate her mother but it didn't make it easier. When she wasn't around, things happened that Satori was forced to deal with on her own. Things that a mother and daughter should deal with together. But she didn't have her mother there so she just bundled it up.

That's how it's been for the past 5 years. After they were forced to settle on Midgard or better known as Earth after the destruction of Asgard, Satori and her mom chose to stay in a place called Jersey City. The first few years were fine, until 2019 when she first left to help Thor on new Asgard. The trips became more constant and then she helped the Avengers it all lead to month long trips where the Salvador women don't even speak when she's home.

That's how their relationship had been for years, from the young age of 11 to her current age of 16 she took care of herself and the house they'd bought all those years ago, she'd cook, clean, with the help of her genius mind she'd maintain it too all on her own. Went to school and got the grades she needed and managed to find the friends she needed.

Her friends. The most important people in her life. Bruno, Nakia and Kamala. The four of them became inseparable when she moved to the city when they were 9. From the first day she met them, she swore to protect them with her life. As much as she hated her powers the only reason she ever practiced her green wisps of magic was to one day protect and save her friends when the time came.

But if there was one person she'd always protect whether she had her magic or not would be Bruno. She didn't understand it but she always had this warm fuzzy feeling around him, like she could take on the world with him, like her problems and tons of pain disappeared whenever he'd laugh or make a joke or their shared shifts or the hours they'd spend building the most random things.

Bruno Carreli makes her feel happy and she fell in love with him because of it. All the moments they spent together, moments that she'd treasure forever.

But when one of her best friends discovers she has superpowers, the thing Satori Salvador has been training her whole life for becomes a reality. One that may take a much bigger toll on her than she planned, especially when an unexpected but familiar face returns and extends her stay.

NOTES

- Satori's mom is played by Shay Mitchel

- Her father died just after she was born on Asgard

- she had a father figure though, he's played by David Castañeda

- at first he was her mothers fling whenever she's home but now he checks up on Satori whenever she's gone on her work trips, he sometimes picks her up from school, makes sure she eats and that she's healthy, they have 'family' dinners twice a week

- it's been like that ever since her mom started to leave and come back

- and during the previous years he got married during the events of endgame and his wife is about to have a baby when Ms Marvel starts

- satori is also really close with his wife , like it did with him it took a while to trust his wife

- but now she's basically more of a mom to Satori than her actual mother is to her

- the three of them are all really close

- Satori also has a ring, she uses it to dampen and control her powers and only wears it when she's at school

- But takes it off to train and practice or when she's at home and she's lazy to get off the couch or something ( they're basic asgardian magic plus green lantern powers if that makes sense bc the fc plays green lantern in Stargirl )

- She knows how to use them quite well and the reason why her and her mother are so powerful it's because her mother being the leader of the coven gave her a 'boost'

- She's also a massive nerd and Avengers fan, her favorite Avenger is Scarlet Witch

- Her and Kamala often bicker about who is more powerful

- But they bond over their love for superheroes

- Even though she loves them, Satori never wants to become one ( maybe her mind might change 👀 )

- The only Avengers she's met or well knows is Thor and technically Valkyrie

- And when the show starts she hasn't seen her mom for a couple months

- But her mom returns for a reason ( around the beginning maybe episode 2 )

- Because there are people coming after or that will come after Satori and her mom because of her powers

- So her mom comes back to help prepare her

- But Satori is pissed and doesn't take any of it lightly

- They only come after the story line for Ms Marvel ends so it's post season one

- But satori is still very involved in season one with Kamala and Bruno and Nakia

- You can decide how they find out about her powers

- I'm not sure how I want Bruno and Satori to confess their love for each other

- Maybe it can be Satori going into danger even though she may get hurt and Bruno confesses everything because he's afraid of her getting hurt
