amelie flood x sam golbach
chapter seven|| 🎬🤍🦢

(tw// talks of suicide, murder, yk the usual haunting backstory bollox)

Amelie stood outside the hotel, practically jumping up and down on the spot. Excitement bubbling in her stomach as she kept checking her phone. Yes, she was nervous as hell, but she honestly couldn't wait.

Five minutes ago she had gotten a message from Colby saying he and Sam were around the corner and would be there in a minute or two.

Two minutes ago, she got pushed out of Carmen's hotel room after trying to get out of it - even though she knew it was far too late to get out of it, she was just making up the worst possible outcomes of what would happen if she were to go.

Now, standing outside in the slightly nippy Autumn weather, she kept glancing down at her phone, waiting to see if she received yet another message.

"Hi, Amelie!" An overly chirpy voice came from behind her.

She screamed, whipping around with her fists clenched, "Holy fuck!" She shouted, her heartbeat getting faster with every breath she took, "You scared the shit out of me!"

The two men in front of her - Sam and Colby - were currently laughing far too much with a camera pointed in her face.

"I thought I was going to get murdered." She had her hand pressed against her chest as she tried to calm her breathing.

Time stamp, 2:23

After meeting up with Amanda Raye and Faze Rug, they all slowly made their way down to the beach where Sam and Colby would start the intro for their video.

Faze had asked the two what it was like going out of the country to which Sam and Colby had gone into detail about how it was filming in Romania, Ukraine ect.

A few minutes later, the group five stood in front of their camera while they started the intro, "Hey, what's up you guys? It's Sam and Colby." Colby said as Sam clapped his hands.

"Today, we are here with three very special guests." Sam smiled, pointing towards the three, "Mr. Faze Rug."

"What up, guys?" Faze held both his hands up in a peace sign and smiled at the camera.

"Amanda." Sam then introduced the blonde who Amelie was standing next to, "You guys know her!"

"Hello!"

"A medium. We've had her on multiple other videos." Sam then pointed at Amelie,"We have a new guest, Amelie Flood!"

Her smile widened as she turned her attention to the camera in front of her, "Hi!"

"Welcome back to the channel." He directed towards Amanda.

"It's good to be back!" She laughed, "Y'all always feed me."

"Rugs first time on the channel!"

"This is my first time on your channel?" He asked.

"Yeah!"

"What's up, guys."

"Give him a big warm welcome." Sam clapped as Colby cheered, "And an even bigger welcome to our newest guest."

"It's an honour being on your channel because I was just telling them that they go above and beyond for their videos and I'm genuinely entertained by them."

Colby smiled gratefully, "Awh, thank you, man!"

"The conjuring house?" Faze said through gritted teeth, turning his head as if he was in pain.

"You could not pay me enough." Amelie mumbled underneath her breath. She had been obsessed with the movie and the overall story and history, but God, she would never go within 20 feet of the house.

"We did that one together." Sam pointed at Amanda before turning back to the camera to finish the intro, "Tonight we are here at the Hotel Del Coronado. We are here for another heel week video! Seven back to back movies up into Halloween - Special huge project every video is absolutely next level."

"You've gotta watch every single one." Colby nodded, "Or we're gonna cry."

After getting off track, they let Sam continue explaining, "But this one is a very interesting hell week video because unlike usual, we don't know anything about this and our guests here are actual the experts because they've been here before - minus Amelie." Sam pointed towards them, quickly excluding Amelie from it when he saw her eyes go wide.

Both Faze and Amanda looked down with a wounded expression on their face as they mumbled, "I have."

"Why'd you guys both say it like that?" Colby asked, noticing their matching expressions.

"Because-" Faze's eyes went wide before the blonde beside him burst out laughing, "It was scary as shit, man. You guys haven't mentioned anything about Kate Morgan or anything else, yet?"

"But she's the main person that haunts this hotel, right?" Sam asked, "We got her room tonight."

Amelie's smile dropped, "Of course you did."

A second later Faze went back to talking about his experience in the hotel, "I actually woke up the best morning with scratch marks on my back- didn't think I'd be back, but anything for Sam and Colby."

"What about you?" Both Sam and Colby said in union, turning towards Amanda. When they both realised what they had done, they turned towards each other and high-fived.

"You guys are on it tonight!" Amanda laughed before moving to the side slightly so she could tell her story while looking at all of them, "Right when I got here, Kate Morgan stepped forward and was, like, wanting to tell her story,"

"Wait, wait, wait-" Sam mumbled, grabbing the camera to hold it in front of her, "What do you mean?"

"Not this time- I haven't seen her yet, but I'm sure that she's in the hotel just like waiting for us."

Amelie's jaw dropped, the whole concept of mediums was fascinating to her. She had spent a large portion of her teenage years doing research about it and finally getting to meet someone who could contact spirits was like meeting your favourite celebrity.

"Oh, my God!"

"What does, like, a dead person look like to you? Obviously like a real person, right?" Colby asked.

"Well, it's like a trick question." Amanda explained, "Sometimes I'll see them and they look exactly like you guys and I'll be able to have conversations with them, just like i'm having conversations with you, right now. So I can get, like, anything from it."

"Can I see them too or no?" Faze asked curiously.

Amanda shook her head, "No..." She told him before continuing, "But sometimes I'll just be able to, like, feel them there and I'll be able to know if it's a man or a woman. If I'm never able to hear them speaking, they'll be able to share names. So it really just depends."

"That's insane." Amelie mumbled, looking at the blonde in awh.

"You had an experience here... prior to even doing haunted stuff right?" Sam asked, turning the camera towards Amanda.

"So the first time I ever came here was for my best friend, Mandy's, birthday. They have, like, Christmas on the beach - It doesn't snow in San Diego - So, we went ice skating on the beach, and I show up and I'm with my mom and all my, like, family. I'm like, "Bro, there's this girl Katie, like, bugging me." And my mom was like, "What did you just say to me?" And I was like, "Katie, she's, like, all gung-ho trying to talk right now." Amanda explained, making the other stare at her in shock, "And she goes, "You know this place is haunted, right?" And I was like, "I did not." So that was the first time coming here-"

"Wait, wait." Sam cut her off, "When was that? How old were you?"

The girl in question shrugged, crossing her arms, "Maybe... Three years ago?"

Amelie let out a sigh of relief, she thought Amanda would have been a young child. The others seemed to think that too by their reactions.

"I thought you were gonna say three years old!"

After a moment, everyone calmed down and stopped laughing, "Alright, guys." Sam said, "Let's go check into the Kate Morgan room and do a little exploring."

"Let's get it, man."

"I wanna go home." Amelie sighed, her nerves getting the best of her as she stared up at the huge hotel.

Time stamp, 5:39

"Insert spooky music." Sam joked, deeming his voice as they walked through the hotel, "Dun, dun, dun."

Amelie beside Amanda, behind the other three in the group. The two made small conversation on the walk from the beach to the hotel, mostly trying to get to know one another. As far as Amelie could tell, they had hit it off well.

"You know what, dude?" Colby said from the very front, "I'm not that sacred, yet. Cause I feel like it looks just, like, so beautiful."

"And then cut to where he's scared later."

They reached the courtyard a minute or two later, making everyone gasp and the beauty.

"Woah."

"This is beautiful!"

"It feels like you're not in San Diego." Faze spoke up.

"Huge courtyard." Sam told the camera, moving it around to show the viewers what they were all seeing. He then stopped in front of the two girls, "Before we rolled, Amanda, you said this was a small hotel. What are you talking about, dude."

Amanda tried to defend herself, but no one would take her word for it after she called the hotel small when it was massive.

"This is like an actually luxurious hotel..." Colby said, making Amelie laugh.

"It's almost like it's a hotel."

"I feel like people, way back in the day, just came here because it was awesome."

Sam turned the camera towards himself, "How about we just lay by the pool instead of doing a ghost hunting video."

"I second that." Amelie mumbled.

"Yeah, we just hang out..."

Time stamp, 6:30

Somehow, while paying for their rooms, Sam and Colby got a worker to agree to tell them stories he had heard or been a witness to.

They had all introduced themselves to the man, and now they were gathered around him like children, "First you're gonna ask me if the hotel is haunted. Yes." That was the first thing he said after the camera was turned on, "I believe in purgatory. I believe in ghosts. I'm usually the all-night bellman. I've seen doors open on their own. -"

"Oh, woah."

"- I've seen all kinds of strange things go on at night, so I'm pretty much convinced - Plus a 135 year old building there's got to be a few secrets." He said, making Sam nod.

"For sure."

"Secrets are like hidden ghosts within themselves. I don't know why they say the Kate Morgan room is haunted." He confessed, "They'll say, like, my pillows are rearranged or I found a blood stain on the screen. There's just... I think those are things people are just making up to get some attention. Real haunted rooms are up on the fifth floor."

"Oh, no..." Amelie mumbled. Carmen's room was on the fifteen floor which meant Carmen was going to kill her.

"Back in the 1800s, when you worked here you lived, slept, and ate here. What the fifth floor is- is kings of a modified attic that's where they had the employees stay. They've had maids hang themselves. Mobsters kill themselves up there."

Everyone stared at him in shock, "Really? Damn..."

"And for some reason too when people sometimes do come here, sadly to commit suicide, they're always lured or attracted to the fifth floor."

"So if you're really looking for a haunted place that's up there. There's this one hallway that has these striped walls. When you walk through it you just get this real eerie feeling."

"I don't go unless I have to!" He laughed, taking a step back.

Faze pointed at Sam, "I dare you to go down there by yourself." Sam's whole face dropped.

"Now if you want to hear the Kate Morgan story, what happened was - I think it was, like, 1892. There was a lady that walked off her job as a nanny. She came here, she kept saying, "Did my brother/doctor leave my medicine?". She was wandering the halls and involved the night bellman and night staff and me being a night man it kinda fits me, but then she kept saying, "Did my husband call?" And then she'd revert, "Did my boyfriend call?" So they're not even really sure that she killed herself. It could've been an estranged husband or a jealous boyfriend kind of concept. But they do have proof that she went to the Coronado pawn shop and bought a gun."

Amelie's eyes went wide, "Holy shit."

"She kind of died a lonely death." The man continued, the mood turning more sombre the more he talked, "She was under a false name so they didn't find out for thirty days. Back then they just stuck you in a box, probably no refrigeration, but when they did contact the husband and the father, the husband never responded. And the father waited another thirty days... And all he did was send a letter and said, "just bury her up in the hill."."

"No one cared about her at that point?"

The man shook his head, "Now my most recent scary story if you want to hear it?" Everyone was quick to agree, "A ten-year-old and his father, they came in at, like, eleven o'clock at night. They went up the haunted room 3519, and the very moment that the boy goes on the internet and finds out the room is haunted, right when he told his dad, the bathroom light starts blinking."

Both Amelie and Faze looked at each other in shock before Amelie frantically shook, "I'm actually so okay not going there."

The worker quickly finished up his story before clapping his hands together, "Right well."

"I appreciate that so much." Colby told him.

They were silent for a moment as the man said his goodbyes and went back to his job. A moment after he left, Colby turned the camera back off and spun around to look at them.

"Yo, I got chills." Faze said, hugging himself.

"What the fuck!" Colby screeched, "That's the first conversation we had."

"Mr bellman Bobby, over here."

"I like how open they are here," Faze said, "Like they just tell you their stories."

"It's almost like they're proud that it's haunted."

Colby nodded, "Not only do we have Kate Morgan, like, investigation, but the fifth floor and the suicides as well."

"That's news to me! We have to check that out."

"Or we could go home." Amelie laughed as Colby turned the camera towards her.

Sam shook his head, "No." Amelie scoffed in joking matter before he continued, "Even the bell man doesn't go up there alone if he doesn't have to."

"And it's Bobby the bellman."

"It's Bobby, bro."

Amanda and Amelie looked at each other before bursting out laughing.

"It's fucking Bobby."

"Shoutout to Bobby."

Time stamp, 9:20

A few moments later, the five were standing outside while Amanda started explaining an experience she had a year previous, "When I came here, like, a year ago it was my first ever haunted video. Kate came and knocked on our door." Amelie's jaw dropped as she stared at the blonde in shock, "And I was at that door and followed her down and so my friends came with me and she led all the way down three flights of stairs, she's on the third floor right, down-" She pointed behind Sam, something catching her attention, "That door just opened."

Amelie immediately jumped back, looking towards the walking sensor door, "Oh, my fucking God."

Colby started freaking out that he caught it on camera, "I just got that! I have chills right now." He laughed.

"Yo, my heart is beating." Sam gasped, clutching his chest.

"I can't feel the back of my head." Faze held the back of his head, making the rest laugh.

After they finally relaxed- to an extent - they slowly made their way down the hall, much to Amelie's dismay.

"You were saying Kate knocked on your door and then it opened." Sam yelled down to Amanda who was walking ahead.

"No, wait! The door just opened again!" Colby freaked out when they finally reached Amanda.

"I heard it!"

"Look," Amanda said, moving towards it slightly, "It's touch free. Someone has to be standing in front of it."

"Yo!"

"It's a motion sensor?" Sam asked, making Amanda nod and walk further up.

The girl walked towards a sensor which would open the door and pointed to it, "Yeah, right here."

"Wait, so was it us doing that or?" Colby asked as Amanda kicked the sensor.

"No," Amanda shook her head, "You have to get right up next to it."

Sam took a step back, "If we take a step back here, why is it still open?"

"That means something is standing right there." He pointed towards the door.

Amelie felt chills run down her spine at the thought of someone, or something just standing there in the middle, looking at them.

"That means something is standing right there." Amanda confirmed, "And I can't see it."

"You not being able to see it might just be the worst part about this." Amelie told her.

"This is like a huge version of, like, the music box, dude." Sam laughed, "Wait, you can't see anything?"

"No, the reason I stopped us was because we were walking by it and I just, like, felt it again."

"We had no intention of going this way, but she was like, "Wait, something's off over here let me tell you a story."."

"That gave me the biggest chills ever." Colby said, the camera pointing towards the open doors in hope of catching anything.

"Yo, it's still open though."

"It's gonna be a good night." Amanda laughed. Amelie shook her head as they all took a few more steps back and let Amanda continue with her story, "The first time that I came here I was in the parking garage, when I came up here and finally got serviced I called them and I was like, "Who's Al? They're saying that Tom knew about Al." Al, Allen Albert was Kate's boyfriend's name or Kate's husband's name."

"Because Tom is Kate's husband, right?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, I did research and Thomas - we'll get into this more in the future - but Thomas is the husband." As Colby was explaining, the door that had mysteriously opened moments ago, was now closing.

"Holy shit!" Amelie cursed as she took another step back, now fully behind both Faze and Sam.

"That's how it was when we walked up to it."

Amelie was still very weary as she looked between Colby and the door once more before moving closer to the wall and listening to Colby finishing his story.

"Albert was who they thought she was in the affair with." He said, "Cause she was dating Thomas or married to Thomas."

After Colby finished, Amanda remembered something from the last stay in the hotel, "Another thing that was really weird last time I came here was she kept talking about, like, the calibre. The bullet in her body didn't match the calibre of the gun she had."

"So it had to have been someone else, right?" Faze asked.

"That's what people say, right?"

"That's for us to figure out."

"This is my forte." Amelie joked, referring to her youtube channel. Colby turned the camera towards her, showcasing the girl with a huge smile.

"You gonna crack the code?"

"We're gonna crack the code!" She clapped and held up finger guns towards the camera.

"If we do, like, the right seance or something and talk to Kate Morgan tonight, like, in a room we could figure out if she was actually murdered or if it was a suicide." Colby said.

Faze shook his head, spaced out on the door that had opened moments ago, "I'm sorry I'm just staring at the door."

"I know, I'm waiting for it to open."

"I just- I can't believe what we just witnessed."

"I didn't know it was closed like this." Colby pointed to the double doors that had only one open.

"I thought both were closed." Amelie admitted.

"It was all the way closed." Sam confirmed, while looking back.

Amanda nodded her head in agreement, "It was only when we were talking about it, too."

"You said Kate Morgan and then it went open." As Colby was speaking, a noise came from behind Amanda and Sam.

Amelie immediately made eye contact with Faze, "What the fuck was that?"

"Wait, what was that though?"

"Someone's coming out of that room, right?" Faze asked, "It has to be."

"You heard that, right?" Colby asked him, making him nod.

Sam took a step to the side, "Okay, can we try and debunk that? I'm gonna walk over there-" As he took a step, he realised something, "Wait, but it opened when we were over here." Sam started waving in front of him, making Amelie put a hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh as she felt like it would make the moment less serious. Despite Sam's efforts, the door still didn't open.

"Should I go old and see how close I have to be for it to open?" Faze asked and everyone agreed because no one else wanted to do it. He started walking before turning around, "Do you wanna come with- Someone?" Amanda started to laugh, but walked with him.

Just as Amelie thought she was safe from walking closer, the two men in front of her started following after their guests, "And we're walking."

Colby turned around with a laugh as she caught up to stand next to him, "Yeah, sorry, Ams."

Amelie mocked a glare at him before scrunching up her nose and looking in front of her, "God forbid I do what I'm here to do."

Amanda and Faze got up closer to the door and that made everyone freak out, because she was practically right next to it and yet it wasn't opening. Faze put his hand on the sensor and the door still didn't open.

"What the hell?" Amelie mumbled, her jaw dropping as she awaited for the door to open.

Amanda and Faze kept touching the sensors and still, nothing.

"Do you think someone on this side," Colby pointed to the side opposite to them, "Could have triggered something."

"It had to have been on the other side." Amanda said as she walked through the door, "Look, I'm gonna walk all the way through." It still hasn't opened.

"What?!"

"Wait, what the fuck?" Amelie was in actual shock as they continued to touch the sensors, on both sides of the door.

Amanda walked back through, a look of confusion on her face before Sam spoke up, "I think we should hit up the fifth floor and then tell the full story of Kate Morgan."

Time stamp, 12:50

Walking out of the elevator was just as trippy as it was the first time Amelie and Carmen had done it. The pink striped walls made her head spin almost immediately.

"It looks, like, tiny..." Sam said his first impression of the floor as he exited the elevator. He then pointed to a door behind Colby, "Look how tiny that door is dude."

"Are you shaming the door, Sam?" Amelie asked, laughing. He gave her a blank look before laughing too.

He walked up to the 'tiny' door and pressed his hand up against it to showcase how small it was, "What the fuck, dude."

"I feel so tall, baby." Faze laughed, knowing damn well he was in fact not tall.

"I'd hate to be over, like, 5'11 here." Amelie mumbled while taking a closer look than she had the first time she was up.

"Dude, look!" Sam once again pointed behind Colby, but this time down at the hallway, "It's, like, curved."

"Look at the top," Faze said as they all huddled around each other to stare down, "It goes like..."

"It slants."

"I feel kind of, like, dizzy up here." Faze said, "I don't know if it's just my vertigo."

"No, I feel like I can't see up here." Amelie shrugged.

Time stamp, 13:25

"Look at this ceiling." Sam said after they walked up the hallway, "Who builds a freaking hotel like this, man." As he turned around to face the rest of the group, a child started talking.

"That's on, like, the opposite side of the hallway and you can hear them all the way down here."

"They said something like, "I think it's really nice up here."." Sam mocked the child.

"Dude, the fact people were, like, drawn up here to kill themselves..."

"He said even to this day for some reason people come here to commit suicide."

"It feels like people would just go crazy up here." Colby said, looking down the pink hallway.

"Do you guys smell, like, vinegar or something?" Faze asked.

Amanda nodded, "It smells, like, musty."

"Like bitter." Colby agreed.

"Like old people, kinda." Amelie added.

"Different than old hotels, though."

"Last time at the other hotel, you said we smelled, like, perfume. This one smells like... just old. Weird, I can't even explain it."

They quickly finished that conversation about the smells when they couldn't quite place it and went to search for their room.

"You would get so dizzy running up here." Sam said right before taking off and running down the hall at full speed, shaking the camera as he did.

"Oh, my God." Faze gasped.

"And he just face plants the floor." Amelie laughed as Sam finally stopped running.

He turned around a large smile on his face, "I did it!"

"Nice man!"

Sam smiled back at them before looking behind him, "Oh, it goes all the way around." He yelled back down at them before charging back down the hallway.

"Didn't Bobby, our bellman guy, say this was, like, a purgatory thing?" Colby asked after a moment.

"Yes!"

"What if this is just a place for, like, trapped spirits that can never escape."

"That's so sad." Amelie softly spoke before Sam cut through the 'gentleness' of the conversation.

"Like Kate Morgan." He said, making his voice deeper, "Dun, dun, dun!"

Amelie's eyes widened, "Or not." She mumbled as she and Amanda walked further up the hall.

They found a small, creepy door where Sam said they "hid the bodies". They all then walked around, looking for anything that was slightly weird.

"It's like a bench, but chairs..." Faze announced when they were looking around, catching Amelie's attention. He then gasped, noticing something carved into the arm of the bench, "Km with a heart!"

"No way!"

"You're lying."

"Oh, my God!"

He stood up straighter, "I wanna get activity, like, I know you guys said you have new equipment or what?"

"Yeah, we got some new stuff." Colby confirmed.

"I don't know, I get scared of these videos, but at the same time I'm so interested and, like, invested in it."

"Because you haven't even heard things like the music box," Colby said, making Faze nod, "Or a rempod?"

Sam pointed the camera towards himself and Colby, "We have a special surprise for Rug and Amelie later on!"

The girl in question immediately paled. Her hands that were once crossed over her chest were not dropped down by her side, her jaw following.

"We're not going to tell them yet, but we have a special surprise."

"Do you guys have a play in this?" Faze asked.

Sam shrugged, 'Uh, maybe."

"I'm gonna start crying! Are you crazy?!" Amelie joked, looking at the two youtubers with shock on her face.

Colby put his hands up in defence, "Amanda knows what it is."

"Do I?" The girl asked, "I'm over here like, "I have no idea what's happening.""

"Is it a device?" Rug asked, trying to get anything out of them, before turning around as there was a click behind him, "Okay, okay, it's fine!"

"We'll get into it later."

"Maybe I take back what I said about being invested..."

"I take back that tweet." Amelie whispered mostly to herself, but she didn't care if anyone heard, because she knew they knew she was joking.

Time stamp, 14:46

Amelie wrapped her arms around herself as the cold hair brushed past her skin. Amanda pulled the four into a balcony, walkway area, giving them no explanation until she closed the door with a smile.

"I've gathered you all here because there's someone else on the balcony with us." The medium said, closing the door behind herself.

"Wait, what." Colby asked, eyes going wide with concern, "What."

"Um..." Amelie looked around, while she knew Amanda meant a ghost, she was still curious.

"There was a woman on the balcony, but it's not Kate." She explained, leaving them with more confusion.

"Wait, she's with us right now?" Colby hesitated after a moment, seeming very stressed out after Amanda then told him yes, "Is she over there? Is she still here? Where is she standing?"

"She was literally behind-" She pointed behind Rug.

"She's not here anymore, though?"

"Wait, why did you say that?" Faze shrugged after he jumped away from where she had pointed and moved to stand in between Sam and Colby, staring at Amanda like she had ten heads.

"That's where she was standing." The girl defended herself.

"Where is she now?" Colby continued his never ending question, but Amanda honestly didn't care, she answered every question they all had.

"She's still right over here." She smiled, "Same spot. I'm just waiting to pick something up, but that's why I came out here."

"That's casual."

"I feel like every viewer wants to know, like, what is she doing right now? Is she looking? Walking?"

Amanda moved to stand basically beside Amelie, "Yeah, I'll just stand next to her." The girl jumped back to stand behind Colby now, "She's literally, like, a part of the circle."

"Just watching us?" Colby asked.

"Yeah," She confirmed, "Well... she's waiting to get, like, a word in with me and I think it's on me, not on her, because I can see her pretty clearly, that's why I came out here."

"Should we give you a second?" Sam questioned, "See if you pick anything up."

"Yeah, maybe, you guys can keep talking until I pick something up." She took a step back as both Amelie and Colby walked closer to Faze and Sam.

"All right, you guys come over here." Sam nodded, walking a few steps away from Amanda, "What do you think about that?"

"Is she, like, talking to her?" Faze asked.

Sam nodded, "Yeah, she's... communicating."

"Dude, it's legit too." Colby whispered, "Like, when we go to the conjuring she would be able to predict things or know stuff."

Amelie's face lit up, "I'm her biggest fan."

"She doesn't get offended, though." Sam said once he noticed Faze's confusion, "Do you- Do you believe in mediums? Or anything like that or not really?"

"I haven't really looked into that, so, this is my first time, like, being with one, so I'm actually interested." He said, "Downstairs with the opening doors. She predicted that, and she's- she said it happened to her before and right when we turned the camera on it opened. So I don't know..."

"I was always a sceptic, but the things we've caught with Amanda are pretty crazy." Sam admitted before turning to face Amelie, "What about you Am's? I know you said you were her 'biggest fan' but, what do you think about mediums overall?"

Amelie smiled at the camera in front of her before turning her attention to the boy holding it, "When I was in secondary school, I got really into, like, paranormal stuff and I basically researched everything about... everything, mediums being one aspect of that. I've never met one in person or even talked to one online, but I do believe Amanda, personally. Like Rug said about the door, that was-" She put her hands to the side of her head before making an explosion movement, "That was crazy, like, that not- There's no reasonable explanation for that. It's debunkable."

"Is she coming here?" Faze asked, turning around to Amanda once Amelie had finished talking.

"She stayed here." Amanda beamed, "She, like, stayed here back in the day. Her name is either e-l-l-e starts with like, L, like Elise or starts with the letter L. That's what I've gotten so far." She smiled before adding, "And she's gonna come with us! Like, she's..."

"She's down!" Colby finished for her, "She's a Fazerug fan."

"I'm getting chills all over my body." Faze shivered after a few minutes of silence, "Is she touching me?"

"No," Amanda shook her head, "She went inside."

"Rugs trying to pick up a ghost girl." Sam joked.

"Ghost girlfriend!"

"You can go on a double date with Colby."

"Dude, I have a ghost girlfriend."

"You do?!" Faze asked, shocked.

"I do, her name is Maddie." He said, sounding proud of it.

"Mine is either Elle or Elise..."

Once he finished, Colby went on to ask Amanda, "Is she hot?"

Amanda gasped, "Is she hot?! Smokin'"

Amelie bursted out laughing as she turned around to walk out. Before she could grab ahold of the door handle and walk back into the hotel, Sam swooped past her, leaving the girl to roll her eyes and follow after him.

All she wanted was to get in from the cold, but Sam had other plans. He grabbed the handle and started to shake it like it was locked.

Amelie paled as everyone started freaking out. She looked at him with wide eyes, "Are you fucking with me?!"

Sam nodded once he noticed the stress in the girls eyes, "I'm fucking with you." He laughed as he opened the door.

Amelie pushed past him, punching him on the arm as she did. He then grabbed his arms, making a point in pointing the camera at the girl, "Drama queen." She mumbled, walking backwards until everyone was inside and finished hating on Sam for playing with them.

"Imagine we get locked out." Sam said, again.

Amelie leaned against the wall beside him and Faze, "Bro..." She tilted her head, "Why would you say that?"

Sam shrugged as Amanda said, "It's not as bad as the conjuring basement..."

"This is nothing to you guys." Faze said. Amelie crossed her arms, agreeing with him.

They travelled all over the world, and went to the most haunted places, one small hotel with a tragic history was nothing compared to what they've done before. Amelie admired it.

"You guys were in the conjuring and the basement. This has to be nothing."

"Dude..." Colby mumbled, "We've still got the conjuring coming up on halloween."

"Halloween special!" Sam cheered, turning the camera around to face himself, "Conjuring..."

"Watch it!" Amelie finished.

"You're not going to the conjuring for halloween!" Faze was shocked.

"We already went."

He seemed to calm down slightly, "Oh!"

"It's for our Halloween special! This week. Get ready for it."

Time stamp, 18:25

Exploring the hotel was cut short once they all realised how late it was getting and seeing as they still had to talk about the history, Sam and Colby decided it was best if they all went to the hotel room and started the investigation.

Amelie walked behind everyone, her hands clasped behind her back.

"It should be right... Here." Sam spoke, stopping outside a room, "This is it. This is Kate Morgan's room."

"Kate!" Colby laughed, knocking on the door, expecting no one to walk out. It was silent for a moment until Colby spoke up again, "Could you imagine something happening."

"She just comes out." Sam said, "What's up, dude. Does this look... familiar?" He asked, "Did you stay here?" As he was asking that, the door to the room opened up.

Amelie's eyes went wide and her body went into fight or flight mode, and it was no shock when she chose flight. She quickly looked between Amanda and Colby before speed walking down the hall, leaving them to deal with it.

"Oh, my gosh, we have the wrong room!" She heard Amanda say, but she was already halfway towards the elevator, her body was now covered in embarrassment, "I am so sorry."

Once she heard her name being called and she heard the group erupt with laughter, she stood up from the bench with K.M carved into it that Rug had found earlier and raced towards them, her hand covering her mouth.

"You fucking dipped!" Colby called towards her, pointing his finger at the girl.

Amelie shook her head, "You expected me not to?! I have the worst fight or flight. And I'll always choose the flight."

"Look, I'll admit that was on me... My bad." Sam said.

"It was the confidence, the "This is our room!"."

Walking down to their correct room, Colby began to knock once more, and Amelie swore if that door opened she would leave and never come back.

"Kate Morgan, We are here." He said in a serious voice, before lighting up to his usual self after a moment of silence, "I swear to God, if it's, Like, another old dude..."

After, yet, another moment of silence, Sam went to open the door, but was stopped when Colby laughed, "What if that was Kate Morgan."

"Girly's a shapeshifter." Amelie commented.

"Shall I?" Rug asked, pointing towards the door.

"You shall."
