Chapter 15
Kuroo had been lying on his floor for hours now, trying to stop smilling, but he just couldn't.
Yes, he admits, he has kissed both girls and guys, he knew how soft and sweet ones lips can be, but Kenma's....
They were the most softest and sweetest lips ever. They melted into Kuroo's. Kuroo was too shocked to realize what had happened.
So now he was in his room, lying on his floor, smilling like an idiot because he couldn't get the kiss out of his head. What was this feeling? Why was his head spinning? It was clearly love and Kuroo knew it.
He slowly stood up and went to a mirror, his face was red and his eyes were sparkling. He felt a sudden wave of inspiration hit him so he immediately sat down at his table and took a pen.
Line by line a silhouette started forming on a piece of paper. This time, one could see the figures face. It was Kenma. He had a smile on his face.
Clearly Kuroo had drawn Kenma way too many times. He would always hang up the sketches on his wall, and now it was mostly sketches of Kenma.
He wasn't ashamed of them. Not one bit.
He felt his phone buzz in his pocket.
From: Morisubae
Sooooo Skype call?
Kuroo looked at his sketch one more time, satisfied with his work, before he took his laptop.
It's been a while since he and Yaku skyped.
Calling..
Calling..
"Kuroo!!!" A familiar face appeared on the computer screen. Yeah, Yaku hadn't changed a bit. His hair was still light brown, he was still short. Not that Kuroo wanted him to change anyway.
"Yaku! How have you been?" Kuroo asked, rubbing his eyes.
"I've been good! How about you though? You look exhausted!" Yaku exclaimed, someone groaned in the background.
"Yeah, I guess I am sorta tired. It's just that there is this person .." Kuroo started dreaming again.
"Whoa, why don't I know anything about this?" Yaku asked suggestively.
"Because I've been keeping him a secret" Kuroo chuckled. He suddenly saw a figure behind Yaku, that figure got closer and gave Yaku a kiss.
Ah, so this silver-haired, green-eyed boy is Lev?
"Lev, say hi to Kuroo and go" Yaku said, Lev waved at Kuroo and went out of the room.
"So, about that boy" Yaku said. Kuroo hesitated for a second, but decided to tell him anyway.
"Ok, so I have a neighbour, right? His name is Kenma and he's absolutely perfect. He's cute, he's adorable, he's smart and he gave me a kiss and I'm freaking out because I think I might be in love with him" Kuroo ranted.
"Oh! Sounds amazing, you better confess soon before somebody steals him away from you" Yaku said and laughed.
They talked for a bit more until Yaku yawned and got really sleepy. They said their goodbyes and Kuroo was once again left alone with his thoughts.
As soon as he wanted to go to sleep, he couldn't. Somehow he just couldn't seem to fall asleep.
He took out his phone and decided to listen to some music. He didn't know what exactly he wanted so he pressed a random song.
Ah.. Not a happy song.
Skip.
What Should I Do by Jaymes Young started playing and Kuroo closed his eyes, listening to the meaningful lyrics of the song.
Summertime has gone away,
The west coast is colder...
I watch your love start to fade,
Like freckles on your shoulder.
I'm driving this car off the Golden Gate bridge,
Gonna hit the waves.
I set the house on fire and watch it burn down,
If you go away...
Kuroo's mind wandered off to Kenma. He thought he would regret coming here, but he was wrong. Meeting Kenma is the best thing that has ever happened to him. He wanted to hold him, kiss him, protect him.
I'll scream and shout,
It can't be true.
If I wake up and you're gone,
What should I do?
I'll loose my head,
I'll make the news.
If I wake up and you're gone,
What should I do?
What should I do?
