MOONLIGHT BLISS — LEVI ACKERMANN

The moon rose high in the sky, illuminating everything the light touched. The streets were quiet and only the whispers of drinking men could be heard echoing down the streets. You sat at your windowsill with your fist digging into the soft flesh of your face.

The moonlight reflected off of your {eye color} eyes, twinkling every moment a shooting star would pass by. Tonight was the night before your expedition outside the walls with the new graduates who have decided to devote themselves to saving humanity.

It was nothing different from your other expeditions but the night had never been so calming. Unless that was only because you never took a moment to notice how wonderful it was. Comrades dying left and right, there was really no time to see such beautiful things.

"Y/N," A voice called out to you, sending shivers down your spine. It was the man you loved most. "What are you still doing up? In just a few hours we have to depart."

"I should be asking you the same thing Captain." You sighed, refusing to take your eyes off the glimmering moon.

Levi welcomed himself into your room and approached you. He followed to where your attention was drawn to and felt his eyes soften. "You're staring at the moon?"

"Can you blame me? I've never seen such beauty in this damned world." You exhaled in awe of the serene view. "Take a good look Captain."

"I've seen the moon time and time again, it looks the same." He buried his hands deep into his pockets.

"Of course you'd say that." You pouted and looked at the Captain.

The moonlight illuminated his pale skin, revealing every detail on his face. From his chiseled sharp jaw to his cold gray eyes. His skin almost looked as if it was sparkling. It was entrancing.

Levi's mouth opened to speak but immediately closed once he noticed your soft gaze was drawn to him.

"Your staring." He pointed out, setting your cheeks ablaze.

The pupils in your eyes dilated in shock as you lifted your hand to cover your mouth. You moved your eyes toward his feet and mumbled, "Sorry."

Levi released a heavy sigh. He placed one of his palms on the back of your head and gently pulled it back. "You're bad at hiding it Y/N."

The blush never faltered off your cheeks. It only grew darker at the sight of the Captain's face only inches away from yours. "Hiding what?" You questioned acting dumbfounded.

"Do you need a demonstration?" He moved his face closer. You could feel his warm breath graze your skin.

"What are you saying Captain?" You stuttered and leaned back further. Just until your back hit the windowsill behind you.

Now he was towering over you with the moonlight reflecting off his face. Fuck you Levi Ackermann for making me feel so vulnerable. Your body trembled under his.

"Levi—" The name rolled off your tongue without you even realizing. "I mean Captain." The space between the you and him was slowly closing off.

Finally, his lips had made contact with yours. He took out his other hand and placed it on the window to support himself, using the other hand to hold your face in place. You gave into his actions and responded to his kiss, placing both your hands on either side of his face. He pushed your legs apart and put his knee in between, putting his weight onto the chair.

After a few minutes of tainted bliss he broke away from the kiss, his chest heaving up and down. He was out of breath. You were out of breath.

"I didn't expect you to like it that much." He breathed out and ran his fingers through his dark strands of hair. "You're an interesting girl Y/N." He flicked his eyes up and down your frame.

"You also know better than to call me by my name." He traced his thumb down your jaw and pried your head up to look at him. "I am your superior after all."

"I'm sorry.." Was all you could say.

Levi released your face from his grasp. He turned on his heels and took a look at the time. Only thirty minutes had passed. Three hours till everyone had to wake up and prepare.

He cracked his neck before walking towards the door. His hand fell onto the knob. "You should get some sleep Y/N. Hopefully what I did got you tired." He viewed your still body from the corner of his eye.

"Goodnight Captain..." You bowed your head, staring at the wooden floor boards beneath you.

"Go to sleep Y/N."

"What the fuck?" Connie had nearly dropped the box he was carrying. He stared up at the window.

Sasha gently smacked the boy on the back of his head and furrowed her eyebrows. "Connie it looks like you've just seen a ghost."

Connie pointed up at the two silhouettes at the window. "Look Sasha." He nudged the back of his foot with his to grab her attention.

She sighed before looking up in the same direction. Sasha nearly dropped her jaw at the sight. "Is that the Captain?"

"What the fuck? Captain Levi actually does that shit?"

Sasha placed her pointer finger on her chin and hummed. "Right? Connie we've seen too much, it's time to thoroughly wash our eyes with laundry detergent."

Connie bobbed his head agreeing to her suggestion. "Sasha you sound like an idiot a lot of the times but I think I'll follow your advice."

"Hey! I only ended up sounding that way because I had an empty stomach. Can you think on an empty stomach?" She huffed.

"More than you can." Connie snickered before taking off on his feet towards the barracks. Sasha shouted his name repeatedly and chased after him.

Connie had finally stopped running once he had gotten to the entrance of the barracks. He hunched over and placed both his hands on his knees, inhaling and exhaling.

"Connie you ass—" Sasha felt her heart drop at the sight of the Captain standing in front of Connie.

"What the hell are you two doing out here?" Levi widened his eyes at the two wanderers.

Well shit. Was the last thing Connie thought of before getting scolded by the Captain along with Sasha.
