"It's so beautiful, Baba...wow!" In front of you stood an immaculate two-story home, with open aluminum glass Windows. Everything looks rustic and relaxing. Like one with nature. You remember your ama said her dream house would be at a lake. You have the biggest pool outside.

You looked at your dad and jumped on him," O gosh...Ama's dream house. She wanted this for so long. Wow, Baba!!!"

Just then, the big wooden doors open...and your mom and MingMei run out to you.

"Jiejie!!! Oh, Jiejie!...You back!" She jumped and hugged you. Your mom is so excited. She hugged and kissed your cheeks multiple times. As if you were gone for years.

"Oh my gosh, Ama, It's beautiful, your dream home", you hugged her in and walked with excitement with your mother into the house. Your dad and Dylan just laugh at you and your mom. MingMei was telling you about the school, her new friend, a boy. My gosh. I hope he will not become another Dylan later in life.

Dylan and Dad brought the luggage. You were amazed at the size of the house. Why didn't you know about the whole move?

"Ama, it's so good to be back home...or in our new home. Why didn't you tell me?" You look at her smiling face with a sense of betrayal.

"I must still make up my Hobi -room. You are going to help me decorate it because LiuMei is not here, ok!" She shook your hands to affirm your help. You smile and nod, still stunned.

"Come, baby, come sit first. Let mama bring you a glass of juice, and I want to know everything about your trip.

Your lounge looks so open with all the rustic elements, and your mother decorated it in warm oranges and browns. One with nature. Wooden finishing.

You can't wait to explore the rest of this exquisite lake house. You love it. It's open with lots of Windows that give natural light. Your mom even got a full-time maid. Fortunately, the estate is not far from MingMeis' news school. It is actually in the "The Lakes Estate" she can walk home with her friends.

MingMei ran out to help with the luggage; she can't wait to see her gifts. Dylan and your Dad are full of smiles as they left your bags in the foyer.

Your dad and Dylan came and relaxed in the lounge.

You quickly jump up to help your mom in the kitchen. You want to explore. You open up the cupboards, and looked in the fridge. Your mom just chuckles at your behavior.

"Wow, Ama .. filled all these cupboards with groceries for three months. Like we'll have a civil war looming."
You snickered and shook your head.

You took the tray with cold juice to the lounge and served your Dad and Dylan.

Your Dad looks tentatively at you," There is something different about you, my girl-' You hope your dad doesn't sense the bond. 

"Um, obviously, I'm a month older." you nervously states. Your dad smiles at you.

"She's so beautiful...we are very proud of your accomplishments...so tell us about your shoot?' Your mom looks very giddy.

"Can Ama quickly let me go to my room...are all my old furnishers in there?" you wonder out loud.

"We left it in our old home..we decided to give the house to your uncle who got married two years ago, they are swamped with student debts, so we decided to give it to them as a belated wedding gift. They were so grateful?' 

Your mom informed you. Your mom is not from a rich family. Their parents struggled all their lives, but through scholarships and student loans, your mom and uncle went through uni. They even completed their graduate studies. Your mom and Dad both got business degrees. Your uncle is a dentist.

"That's very generous of you. I hope Ama packed in all my webtoon collections. I want to give it to MingMei when I die..." you smile at the face MingMei pulled. She hates those books, and she wants CDs and anything music-related, BTS merch, obviously.

Ming, come show me my room..." you wink at her. She jumps up excitedly. You took one essential bag and rolled it up the stairs. Dylan shook his head and jumped up to help you and a giggling MingMei.

"What will you do without me...see, you'll need me forever", he smugly says.

You grimace," Yeah, right...I do have a life, Dylan, and it doesn't revolve around men, you know."

MingMei stood at the top of the stairs," Come on, lovebirds...jeez Dylan ...forget about Yunru ...she's nobody's type. I don't know who will be a soulmate'.

MingMei ran down the stairs in quick steps and hugged you apologetically," Sorry, Jiejie...you are so beautiful...you are so famous...you will marry a handsome celebrity and live in a big mansion and have five kids. Their names will be Yoongi, Soekjin, Hobi, and Taehyung, and your daughters' will be Jisoo you love so much. " She uses your biases names. 

OMG! Mingmei unknowingly prophecies the truth, like confirming it but not the names of the kids. You wonder how she'll react if she found out you are bound to a celebrity; she is a big fan.

Dylan snorts," Oh please, Yunru does not make a celebrities' wife...imagine my girl as part of the Housewives of Beijing. If she marries it will be to me"

"Omg, you two, I'M NOT MARRYING YOU DYLAN! and you and Ming Mei can stop your nonsense. I have a soulmark, so my soulmate is out there longing for ME...so can we get to my room? I'm tired, and tomorrow I need to be in Shangai for my orientation."

You walked the rest of the stairs with annoyance. Once you tell your parents about your soulmate, you will tell Dylan that he better accepts it or loses you forever. This nonsense must stop.

You feel the warmth in your heart as you think about your sassy little sister who waited for you to do the decorating with her. A pity Liumei is not here. She is the master of these things.

"Tada!!!" MingMei poses triumphantly,". here's your suite with your bathroom. No more sharing with me. Zhang Wei also got his room, and there are two special guestrooms for the family that will visit or for LiuMei" she looks excited.

Dylan pulls a face," I know...I am, sorry Yunru, but I miss us before this soulmate crap."

Your laughs and quickly, Dylan and his nonsense are forgotten.

"Ok, I hope you like it...it was very costly, so you better like it ." You open up your bag very slowly until Mingmei pushes you out of the way and try to unzip it herself.

You just sat on the bed and smile at the joyful and happy look on your little sister's face. You've missed this sassy queen so much.

She screams at the top of her lungs with everything she beholds. She immediately took off her t-shirt and jeans and got herself dressed up in one of the BTS dresses.
While she was dressing, you quickly grabbed the enormous gift of Hobi and hid it quickly on top of your cupboard. Away from prying eyes.

You gave her the mugs, stationery, and lots of other stuff. You took some of the gifts you and LiuMei bought for your parents and Dylan down.

MingMei placed all her stuff in one gift bag and ran down to show her parents.

You sit and look around with deep gratitude. You love your parents so much. Even the affection and respect you have for Kim's increased. You need to get them Chinese cultural gifts.

You took your tour through your new home. You were amazed at the private Tv lounge. All your film DVDs at stacked inside a wooden cupboard.

Your parent study also looks one with nature. Well organized.

You went back to your room and took out your phone and charger. There are four messages.

Dylan gesture for you to take a seat next to him. Your dad is at the head and MingMei is across you next to your mom.

Your family looks pleased to have you home. How will you be able to leave them and follow LiuMei to South Korea?

After lunch, you all sat down in the lounge, enjoying sweet cakes and tea. It was already 5 pm, and Dylan had to drive back home, which will be an hour's drive.

Your parents thanked him for fetching you and arrangements are made for tomorrow. You will meet each other at the airport.

So, you escorted him out to his car.

Before he got into the driver's side, he looked at you with a frown. You already sense the discomfort in his demeanor for whatever he wanted to ask you. He embraced you, tightly caressing your back. Your eyes widen. What's up with him?

You look up at him with questions in your eyes. "What is it?"

Dylan clears his throat and says with a soft voice, looking down at the girl he loved with all of his heart. "Yunru ...a while ago you said you have a soulmate out there longing for you, you sounded strange...did you perhaps.....meet him?"
