𝙹𝚄𝙽𝙴 𝟼, 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟿

MAEVE SLOAN WAS IN THE AUDITION room, in los angeles, california. it may be an exaggeration, but she felt like if there were one hundred people in the room, when the truth is there were only about 10-15 people

she was seated in her chair waiting for the rest of the four actors. she was reading over her lines, when a figure was walking up to her. she glanced up to see the director "hi, i'm kenny. i just wanted to introduce myself" he smiled politely to the twenty-three year old

maeve shook his hand "hi kenny, i'm maeve sloan. it's such a pleasure to meet you" she stated with a kind smile

"the pleasure is mine" kenny smiled before the door of the audition room opened. he dismissed himself to go greet the tall blond man that walked in

"hey, i'm owen" the tall blond haired man says with a greeting smile as he takes a seat next to her

maeve glanced up at him, a smile tugged on her lips "maeve, hi"

a few minutes later, three other actors came in. maeve eventually meeting the three: madison, jeremy, and charlie

"okay, now that you've gotten to know each other. i want you to know that i've paired you up as a group that i'm very interested in working with because i see potential in each of you. so let's give it all you got today, but remember to have fun" kenny said enthusiastically

maeve was currently working with owen. the blond guy, owen who is auditioning for alex. kenny, the director was standing off the stage with charlie, jeremy, and madison. the four and the rest of the workers were watching the two

"how could he do it?" maeve asked owen "i wrote that song alex. and what does he do? he just hands it off to julie without even asking me" tears were slowly running down her cheek, seeing as luna was supposed to be crying

owen sighs before walking over to hug the girl, he wrapped his hands around her neck, while her hands went around his waist "i know it was wrong, but knowing luke, he didn't bother to think it through. he just wanted to help out julie, and i'm sorry he hurt you in the process"m

kenny nudged charlie to walk up, seeing as he was suppose to 'ghost in'

"w-woah, what's going on? why are you crying luna?" charlie questioned as owen pulled away from maeve

maeve quickly wiped her tears as owen glanced at her "i'll leave you two, to talk" owen said before getting off the stage

charlie furrowed his brows, before he walked towards maeve, he tried to grab her hands but she moved away "luna what's wrong? did i do something?" charlie questioned as luke

maeve scoffed "what song did julie sing at the show?" she questioned

charlie furrowed his brows before answering "bright" he answered

"and who wrote bright?" she questioned

"you did" he shrugged

"exactly, it was my song and you let someone else sing it" maeve argued

"it's not a big deal luna" charlie recites his line with a sigh

"luke, are you serious right now?" she scoffed at charlie "you gave julie bright? that was my song, luke. i wrote it about us. i wrote it about all of my feelings towards you, towards us, about our relationship and you didn't even think to ask me if i was okay with her singing it? i had to find out at the dumb show. we were supposed to record that song, the world was supposed to hear it from us, and you took that away from me" she told charlie, she turned to walk off the stage but charlie grabbed her hand, stopping her just like luke was suppose to stop luna from leaving

"luna, i'm sorry. i'm sorry i didn't ask you" charlie sighs "i-i didn't know that it would mean this much to you. i figured since we aren't together anymore, that you wouldn't want to sing it anymore, plus we're ghost, i never thought we'd be able to play anymore"

maeve wiped the tear that managed to escape her eye "j-just never do it again" she sighs softly

"i promise you i won't" he gave her a sad smile before poking her cheek "are we good?" he questioned

a smile tugged on her lips, she slowly nodded "were good"

"good, because i hate seeing you mad at me" he grinned before hugging the girl

"like i could ever be mad at you for too long" she grinned

"that was amazing guys!" kenny called out enthusiastically
