It had been a few boring days later, and I took that time to familiarize myself with the facility. Other than 'Lifeweaver', there were eight scientists and two... guards, I guess. I don't know why you'd need guards in an area majority of people wouldn't go. 

I did get checked on from time to time to make sure I was physically alright, but it was done by the other scientists and not the main man himself. 

Now, I just had to take advantage of the system. The only time "Lifeweaver" will check on me is if I'm in immense pain that the others aren't able to help with. I could just fake it but I also don't want them finding out I am. Which is why I'm going to do so near the man himself. 

Other than Lifeweaver, I'm sure the other people here also have their suspicions of me. Worried I might just kill him or something, take him away.

They're right, but it's not like I'm doing that so soon. Think of me as a damsel in distress or something. 

I walked around the facility, trying to find my target. I had to do so carefully since I'd always get asked, "What are you doing?" and for some reason, that question just gets me stumped when I don't want anyone knowing what I'm doing. Slowly, but surely, I was going to make my way towards him. 

During my time here I'd rarely see him, but I've always caught a glimpse of him from time to time. But not for long. It's like they don't want me near the man or something. So, I might just have to go down a certain route...

The Love Interest route. 

I know it might be tough, I don't even know what this guy's type is, what he likes in a girl, or if he even likes girls. But I have to at least try, even if I get rejected it won't hurt. I'm only doing this for the money, and maybe finally be acknowledge by others. 

Besides, I've used a flirting tactic before to lure in other bounties. I don't want to sound like I'm mentally insane but it is fun seeing how wrong they were about me. The joy of killing them once I had the chance, guys are really simple.

Whilst walking while thinking, I looked between the crack of an open door. I finally found him but he was with another scientist. Unfortunately, they were speaking another language. I tried paying attention and figuring out what the language was but I had no clue. Just assuming from the way it sounds... it had to be some sort of Asian language.

I internally sigh and stand beside the door, waiting for either of them to leave. I'm more or so hoping for that scientist guy to leave so I could be alone with Niran- Lifeweaver. It'll make things much easier.

After a few boring minutes later, I could hear their conversation ending. I hid behind a metal box, waiting to see who would leave. Eventually, the other scientist guy left, which means Lifeweaver is the only one inside. This was my chance.

When the coast was clear, I made my way towards the room and didn't bother knocking. Although I tried to be stealthy, it seems he was able to hear me come in.

"Oh, F/N, is something wrong?" He asked. Seems he's using the fake name I gave him, that's good.

"I- oh man, I don't feel so good. My legs hurt and it was a struggle to come here, and since you said to come to you if I felt immense pain I did. And now I'm here." I tried acting it as much as I could, but I didn't mean to say legs. Now that I did I have to play the role.

I held onto the wall, acting as if I wasn't able to stand properly on my own and using the wall for support. I 'attempted' to walk towards him but I 'fell', and luckily he was right at my side. Holding me to make sure I wouldn't fall. He then helped me sit down on a chair.

"Now, are you really in pain or do you just want to see my biolight?" He said quickly.

"What?"

"Let's just fix the pain then, shall we?" 

Lifeweaver's glove began to glow at the palm, I was intrigued by it but this could be the very things that woke me up that day. It charged up and formed some sort of flower. 

"Now this might feel weird but try not to get too excited." He said before the flower went through me.

It gave me the same burst of energy feeling I had that day, it was the same thing. Now I understand why he was there the moment I woke up. He was the one to wake me up. I wonder... would I have died if he hadn't done that?

"How are you feeling now?" Lifeweaver asks.

"Uh, good? Yeah, I feel good." I replied before asking, "Was this what you used on me that day to wake me up?" 

He nods, "It was, this is the very technology certain people want. But I can't let them have it, who knows what people with terrible morals would do with living light." 

"Living light?" I ask. Although it is weird, if he knows I'm after him, why would he tell me about this?

"Biolight is it's proper name, I created it to some day make the world a better place. Which is why it can't be in the wrong hands. The world is full of famine and poverty, the ill and all those that suffer through it. It sounds like a utopia but I want to try and end as much as I can, even if I'm the only one doing so." 

"I see..." I didn't know how to respond to what he said. He's not wrong though, the world is full of suffering and it's not perfect in any way.

But I'm also suspicious as to why he's telling me all this. I guess it might be a way to test me to see if I'm really working with Vishkar to take him out. However I'm not, I'm a solo hunter and I just want the money. 

"I'll take you back to your room," Lifeweaver helped me off the chair.

"No, it's okay. I can head there myself." I said.

"Are you sure? I know how annoyed you get when the others here ask what you're doing."

"Wait, how do you..."

"That's a secret, but I have been watching you sometimes." He smiles, "Come, I'll take you to your room." He started heading towards the door and I followed after him.
