Why am I here?

Standing here in this school? Dang calling this a school is absurd when It is a fucking castle!? Hell yeah, it's better than staying here than the place I lived, full of lies and emotional abuse. It's no different than being a demigod because there's a chance I could die, still it's a miracle for me to stay alive at this age.

"Maxine Song?" A voice called out to me from behind, making me yelp and I turned around to find a 9 year old!? What the hell-

"Um, yes?"
"Are you just going to stand there or are you waiting for monsters to eat you up?"

Before I had the chance to answer back, someone talked to the bratty kid, "Lady Hestia, I'll take it from here, thank you." A dual haired guy talked to the little girl and bowed to her slightly, hestia? That girl? Weird.

The girl nodded before skipping away, the dude with a white and black hair turned to me, smiling.

He extended a hand towards me, a warm smile playing on his lips.

"Welcome to Valencia Academy, Maxine." he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "I hope you'll come to love it here just as much as I do."

"I'm adonis choi, also known as prince adonis here, I'll be showing you around here" he introduced himself.

"Thank you," I responded, my voice soft and nervous. "I'm looking forward to it."

"You're undetermined for now," he started "which means your god parent hasn't claimed you yet, either way even if you get claimed by your god parent you'll still be staying in hestia's dorm, it's perfect for you." He finished.

The prince walked with me down the hallway, chatting with me about the school regulations and introducing me to the Home of Hestia dorm, which is where I would now be staying. During the conversation, he asked me if I would start being an all-around, to which I replied with an affirmative.

Adonis nodded and then asked,"Have you eaten yet?"'

I shook my head, prompting Adonis to frown. "You should head to the Olympian Hall and eat something. You don't want to start your first day here with an empty stomach."

I snorted at the name of the dining hall, which made the prince slightly laugh. "It's to honor the Olympian gods, you see," He explained. "But don't let the name intimidate you. It's just a place where we eat and socialize." I'm not intimidated, it's funny, is this an olympics or something.

Adonis snapped his fingers, and a satyr came up to them, taking my bag. I was startled but handed over my bag to the old satyr before he ran out of the hallway.

He must have noticed my concern and said, "Don't worry, the satyr will take your stuff to the dorm. We'll make sure everything's ready for you."

"You should eat first," Adonis said. "The dining hall is this way."

As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. I had heard about Valencia Academy from my mother in my dreams, and now I was finally here. And with Prince Adonis himself as my guide, I couldn't ask for a better welcome.

Maybe play a few boys here and there?

The prince led me to the Olympian Hall, pointing me to where the dorm "home of hestia" would eat. A nymph appeared holding my plate with food. My eyes widened at the variety of dishes available, from traditional Greek cuisine to modern-day favorites. It's normal for me though, but this is awesome! I sat down before he started speaking again.

"I shall leave you now, a couple of your dorm mates should come down here in a second." When he said that, a girl that looked around my age passed by us, sitting down slightly away from where I was sitting. She was wearing a masquerade mask which is weird but whatever it's not my business.

"Goodmorning, Naomi." Greeted the head council, which the girl only ignored, and continued eating.

Okay, rude

Seconds later, another girl whizzed in wearing a half pigtail and half hair down style, which looked cute on her. Adonis called out to her and next thing I know, she's in front me

"That's my cue to leave, yue," he looked at the girl "This is Maxine Song, he'll-" "they" he looked at me, "I'm sorry?" "I use they/them pronouns sir" the prince nodded. "Sorry my mistake, anyways Yue, this is Maxine Song, they'll start being an all rounder here as well, and since your dorm head and prefect are on break, I trust you to teach him some things around here." Miss pig hair girl nodded.

Prince Adonis turned to look at me. "She'll be in the same class as you along with Naomi over there," He nodded to the place where the masquerade girl was sitting. He said his final goodbyes before walking out of the olympics hall.
The girl named Yor? Yue? Sat in front of me, an awkward smile on her face.

"Um... hi? I'm Mèng Yue Xia," "So you're chinese?" I blurted out which must have shook her because her mouth was open wide. "Uh yes?" she shakes her head. "I don't talk much but I ca-" She was interrupted when masquerade girl slid beside her. Stabbing her steak with a fork.

Oh wow, are you jealous? I thought to myself, smirking mentally.

"New kid, hi~" She sang out, dropping her fork on the side, before reaching her hand out for a hand shake. "I'm Naomi Lee, must have forgot to introduce myself earlier." She giggled, before smiling too sweet. She could fool anyone with that smile, but no to me when I have seen those same smiles in my entire life.

I shake her hand, giving a smile back to her "Maxine Song, nice to meet you." I replied before dropping my hand back to my side.

"We'll show you around school soon." Naomi replied back, Yue looked at her with wide eyes, "Prince Adonis assigned m-" "The more the merrier right?" She laughed, "I'm sure Maxxy here won't mind having two as his accompanies right?" which I hesitantly nodded. Masquerade girl lightly clapped, "then it's settled then." Before she starts eating again, Yue follows and starts chomping on her food.

After a while, Yue spoke again after swallowing her food, "If you want to drink, talk to your goblet glass about what drink you want and it will appear." Naomi being a diva started first, "Diet coke." and voila it appears on her glass.

I followed by speaking on my glass, "Pink coke." I commanded as a joke, and suddenly it appeared on my glass.

Yep, I'm staying here

Students then start coming in the hall, apparently there's only around 9 - 15 students that have stayed, Prince Adonis informed me earlier that there's only a small number of students for now since most of them went home for the summer while others stayed.

This place is way better than the home I grew up on
