The day of the fireworks fall.

The dance that called for a nightmare

Your aunt Ines let you sleep in the next day because you had a rough night. She noticed your room light turned on after midnight and her face was filled with concern.

You fall asleep well after 2 a.m. after a nice glass of milk and honey. Feeling the creeping monster of fatigue take over your body.

You awoke from your rest at around 10 a.m., feeling incredibly refreshed and strangely content. You may attribute the serene sensation to the hot drink, or perhaps someone prayed for your safety, but either way, you felt energized.

You pull off your thick blanket and jump from your bed. You rush to the bathroom to finish your morning ritual and take a refreshing shower.

You wore a white, summery shirt with light blue denim shorts and white slip-on sandals. You brushed your long hair loosely about your shoulders. You've learned to appreciate the chestnut brown color. Except for the oracle's curse, it makes you feel like a completely different person.

You sigh heavily as you hastily text an excellent morning to your loved ones and Sami. Sami was online during his lunch break at school. He sounded disoriented without you at home. You smirked and told him that now he understands what it's like to be an only child.

You urged him to discreetly inquire of his TxT best friend about their planned comeback at a music show. You love to converse in Korean to practice the language daily.

Sami: Hi Luna, I asked him when will they perform. He said this coming Saturday. It will be right after your birthday. Why are you asking? Are you a fan of them?

You smile inwardly. If Sami was aware of what you have been going through the couple of days, he will be flabbergasted about your connection to the idol.

You: My friends love them. And one of my friends has a crush on Soobin. Soobin is in our year and he seems like a very kind guy, but so quiet.

Sami: 😂😂😂Says the one who can't even defend herself...Do you want to attend their comeback concert? Huening Kai invited me to come to watch them perform. They're fantastic. Why didn't I join Big Hit? jeez? If you want, I may ask him for special tickets for you and your cool buddies as a birthday present.

You took a deep breath. Oh, my goodness! That will be fantastic. You can warn Yeonjun without his knowing. This will be beneficial to you. All you have to do is be discreet.

You: That will be fantastic. Dahyun will be overjoyed. It will be exciting to see them live. I've heard they're lit.

Sami: They certainly are. I'll have Huening Kai get it for you as a birthday present from me. Then I won't have to buy you anything else for your birthday, okay?

Your mouth was watering at the sight of the hefty feast. Maria grinned as she placed a serving tray in front of you. You missed the Chilaquiles and made a mental note to go make some for you and Sami when you got back home.

You said a brief grace over the food and dug in while Maria talked to you about Tijuana life. Your aunt texted you to let you know that your uncle would be coming to pick you up to spend time with her at the mall. Just to keep your mind calm and busy.

You're all for that. Maybe you might buy your buddies bright authentic Mexican shirts to wear with skirts or pants. Maybe some lovely sandals and jewelry to match their outfits.

After eating your breakfast, you quickly assist Maria in cleaning the kitchen and decide to walk to the roof just to enjoy the view of the bay. Your aunt made an excellent investment near the beach.

Later, when you've entertained yourself on your bed with some interesting Mexican Netflix shows, you text your best friends, hoping they can keep up with Eunoo's instrumental practice. For each day, you will perform three items. They agreed you'd play the violin on the last day of camp. Eunoo will play the piano, while the rest of the ensemble will perform a brief piece on other instruments. You just shook your head.

They also inform you that the famous Idols were not present at school. They have been practicing since today. Dahyun said Yeonjun seemed melancholy as if he had lost something. Soobin even approached them and inquired when they would return to school. Yeonjun will be dissatisfied since becoming aware and your first kiss. He will yearn for you every day, not knowing why he feels so strongly about you all of a sudden, even when we see you.

The Oracle might use him to find you more enticing. He will continually fantasize about you. You just hope he thinks it's a natural part of his teenage hormonal stage.

When you find that they notified him about your birthday on Friday, your eyes widen. Yeonjun will be aware that you'll be soulmarked by Friday, for sure. He might grow inquisitive and go out of his way to allow you to expose your soulmark to him, which would confuse him even more.

You only hoped your mark would be in a very private place where you could hide it from his sight. You've been experiencing stinging and inching on your left upper arm since last night. You hope it's higher up so that your school shirt hides it from prying eyes. You dream you were a wealthy idol so you could get an invirso bound for your soulmark. It immediately makes you wonder where Yeonjuns' mark is.

You pray every day that you're wrong about him being your soulmate. Why couldn't you, like the rest of the population, find your love after the age of eighteen? No, the tug-of-war between the soulmate system and the Oracle is becoming increasingly intense. It gives you a great deal of tension and mental anguish.

The next day

You and your aunt Ines stood up pretty early, and she was the one who drove you to the Quartz Hotel and Spa. It was a pretty luxurious hotel, and your aunt is highly knowledgeable about the area. To prevent feeling anxious, you and your aunt made small talk. Your Aunt Ines sincerely hopes that the Oracle's curse will be lifted and you will be able to enjoy a normal life. That's all you desire, even if you don't have to see the future any longer. It will not be a significant loss because it will just give you sorrow and suffering.

Your aunt will be arriving at the hotel soon. You instantly get a strange sense of dread, and you hope it's just anxiety.

You could only gaze around in astonishment as you followed your aunt inside to the beautiful foyer. What an exquisite hotel! You get a glimpse back to Yeonjun and his band, who will soon be so famous that the entire world will know about them, and they will do massive concerts all over the globe, but you will not be around.

You just want him to be happy, and maybe if he is meant to be yours, you can meet him after your 18th birthday.

Your grandaunt cheerfully greeted the receptionist, urging you to wait for her by resting on the lounge chairs. You didn't seem to mind at all. You'll be messaging your friends as well as Sami. You were astonished to receive a text from Sami notifying you that Heuning Kai had delivered the tickets for you for free. What stunned you the most was that Yeonjun supposedly made management buy you the Moabongs as a birthday gift and got you seats two rows from the front.

You were pleasantly surprised and wondered why he did it. You can't sit in front, what if you half-bond without him knowing that it is the soulmarks doing? He is expected to bond when he is eighteen, which will be in a few months. You must get the portion inside him to "blind" him if you unintentionally lock your eyes.

Mr. Sanchez and your grandaunt were deep in conversation when you followed them to the elevator. As you get closer to the presidential suites, your tummy begins to quiver uncontrollably.

The suite was stunning, and all you could do was stare. A man opened the door and invited you in. Mr. Virgil was pretty attractive, and you smirked at your aunt's widening eyes. As he politely welcomed your equally imposing aunt, he was rather pleasant.

You all sat on the soft velvet sofas because he was such a gracious host and served you refreshments and tasty treats on the small side tables. As you assist yourself to the chocolate and cream puffs, you instantly smile.

Mr. Sanchez and your Aunt Ines discuss your family curse with the Ceo. He was listening with a thoughtful expression on his face, occasionally looking at you.

He was taken aback when he learned of the curse that had plagued his ancestors' closest friend's family for four generations. He looks at you sympathetically.

Mr. Sanchez made certain that the Senor understood what it would mean to the family if the Oracle could be appeased by restoring the relic to its rightful home.

Your eyes begged the CEO, ""¡Por favor Señor! Mi vida, así como la de mi futuro compañero de alma, está en juego. Podríamos morir inesperadamente poco después de la unión. Luna inhaled deeply, hoping to appease the Oracle.

You all departed with light hearts and demeanors after a fruitful meeting and Mr. Gonzalez's commitment and promise. Mr. Gonzalez will meet your Aunt and Mr. Sanchez at the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City on Thursday. For your protection, you will not join your Aunt. Your Aunt was so excited that she brought the three of them to a very expensive restaurant for a buffet lunch.

After your aunt informed your Korean family, you went to bed with a cheerful heart that night. Your dad felt delighted and couldn't wait to see you safely return from Mexico.
