"So, what's the agenda?" Ana asked Christy. "Or are you gonna stay at home and lounge around?"
"I might go out and about in the French Quarter." Christy said, taking another bite out of her cronut.
"By the way, I've read your books. They're really good." Ana said to Christy.

"Yeah, I know." Christy said, and shows him a bucket of cookie dough ice cream. "Ice cream. Soft serve goodie."
Klaus small smiles. "Chris? We need to talk about something."
Christy looks at her husband, noticing the serious in his voice. "Sounds serious. Is everything okay?"
"Nadia and I have been talking, about you." Klaus said.
"About me?" Christy said, a bit confused. "What are you talking about?"
"Nadia told me to keep an eye on you, to protect you." Klaus said to her.
"Of course. You're my husband." Christy said to him.
Klaus gently takes her hand in his hand, which makes Christy stops putting groceries in the kitchen cabinet and refrigerator.
"Klaus?" Christy said, and becomes worried. "What are you trying to tell me?"
"Nadia also told me to save you." Klaus said to her.

Klaus gives her a knowingly look. And Christy realizes what he means by saving her.
"My dark alter ego." Christy said.
"As long as you don't say that the incantation to summon your dark alter ego, you're fine." Klaus said.
"You don't have to burden yourself with this, Klaus. I'm fine." Christy said to him.
"I know, but still." Klaus said.
"Is that why you've been so worried about losing me? About Luna and Trinity being motherless?" Christy asked him.
Klaus nodded. "Yeah."
Klaus and Christy exchange concerned looks at each other.
"What about you?" Christy asked.
"Don't worry about me, Love. I'm fine. My immortal soul doesn't need to be saved. I'm still on my path of redemption. Elijah is making sure of it. As of now, you, Luna and Trinity are my redemption. You're my humanity. Other than Elijah, you're the person that keeps me sane."
"We're each other's humanity, Klaus. We're each other's Light in our darkness." Christy said to him.
"I know that." Klaus said.
"But if we're not careful, Klaus, my dark alter ego will re-emerge itself." Christy tells her husband.
"I know that too." Klaus said with a serious look expression on his face, and his expression softens. "But we'll get through this together."
"I know." Christy said.
Klaus and Christy exchange soften looks at each other. She playfully bops his nose with her finger. And he small smiles.
"Now, are you gonna stand there? Or are you gonna help me put up some with the groceries?" Christy asked her husband.
Klaus chuckles softly and small smiles. "Yes, ma'am."

"By the way, there's a safe-house manor, a few miles from the homestead safe-house. Luna, Trinity and I are gonna visit there this evening. Do you want to come along?" Christy asked Klaus.
"Sure." Klaus said. "Is the manor safe-house cloaked?"
"Yep. My Mom and my grandma cloaked it themselves." Christy said.
Klaus looks at a small tub of cookie dough ice cream and gives Christy a 'really' look. "Cookie dough ice cream?"
"What? I love ice cream." Christy said with a small smile.
Klaus small smiles to himself. And Christy pecks a kiss on his cheek.

"Okay." Christy said. "You don't have to stay here. Luna, Trinity and I will be fine. I'll phone call when we need something."

"So, go to Elijah. He needs you." Christy said to her husband. "Me and the girls will be fine."
"Christy? We both know Elijah will send me back here to you and our daughters."
Klaus said.
"You can say I sent you then." Christy said to him, gently folds her arms.
"Chris?" Klaus said.
"Klaus? If you don't walk away, I'm gonna make you vomit your intestines." Christy said, giving him a look.
