FLASHBACK : Emily thought to arrange a birthday party for her mom and she thought to make it special by reuniting her mom with her dad

The day arrived. All the hardwork which i did from the following weeks will pay off this day.

I collected 200 rupees from all over the house and thought to buy a book for my mom as she loves to read books. If you are wondering...why collected...why not buy it with my pocket money.. Well.. As any Indian mum ..my mum too didn't give me any pocket money.

“You are a kid..what will youd do with money” she said. So yeah collecting was the only way. To achieve great things... We need to do hardwork so did i.

I checked the little list of mine if I was missing anything for the party. Everything was ready.
Dad is also ready to come but he didn't know why I called him. I thought I will mark his name when I will reach there.

I called my grandparents and my step aunt Sayani Roy. My grandparents are really nice. My grandpa married my granny after his first wife expired. My step aunt is nice but sometime she spoils the environment by saying something very annoying but we always support her.
She adores me alot..and so do i.

My little brother George drew a picture for mom. She drew me and mum and doodled a heart all over us. “I drew the best people in my life” said George while smiling adorably. Sometimes he can be cute..but most of the time a devil. Well..you need to see who's brother he is. Mine!

It was 6pm on the big clock and mom came home from her office. She walked to the table and grabbed the water bottle. Before she could drink, we jumped from our hiding places an shouted 'SURPRISE'. Mom startled. "Happy birthday ma!! " I wished her while jumping up and down. Ma started crying...
"Oh sweetie don't start crying now. Today's such a special day. You deserve it. Now c'mon. " Said my grandparents. My aunt grabbed mom's hand and took her to the room inside.  After she came out...she was looking so beautiful... Like she used to be before she stopped giving time to herself. She wore the new dress my aunt gave.

Mom was looking like an angel... She cutted the cake and we sang the happy birthday song. George gave mom the card he made . Mom looked so emotional. He kissed me and George.

" Emily did you arranged all of this all alone ?"asked mom. I nodded my head. She looked so happy.

“I'm so lucky that i got a daughter..like you” Mumma hugged me tight and kissed on my  head.

We had snacks and danced. The time came for the special surprise I planned about. I didn't told anyone else except George. I said " mommy you need to come with us.. Granny, aunt and grandpa you all will also join us”  i declared as George giggled.

“Shoo George” i mimicked Peppa pig which made George laugh more.

My mom asked what was the matter. I just said there is a suprise... Everyone looked curiously at us..and quietly followed us while whispering among themselves.

I asked aunt to drive the car to the old book store. I wondered if dad remembered mom's birthday as he did not say anything about her birthday. Maybe he was also planning a suprise...But I was so excited to reunite my family that I didn't think  much much about that. When we reached there, dad didn't reach yet. The street was full of people. People of different culture scattered around the street of Kolkata.

I told everyone to stay in the car and wait for me as I saw dad wearing the glasses.
I gout out of the car..and went close to him.
" What happened Emily? You asked me to come here? Anything wrong?”He asked.

I told him to wait and went to the car and told everyone to come. Mum came out and the first thing she noticed was dad. I saw both dad and mom  dumbstrucked. Grandma was about to faint out of shock but aunt catched her. I was about to tick dad's name in the check list when mom shouted and a lot of people gathered around.  I expected dad to apologise and wish a happy birthday..but...the thing i saw next...made my heart beat four times faste.

Dad was about to run. But it was too late. Mom already started shouting “ Catch that man. He is a criminal” 

Before i could figure out what was happening.. A group of people catched him. My aunt immediately dialled a number. My granny hugged me and George tightly. I could understand that she was shivering. I and George asked what was happening but nobody replied to us. The police came and we all went with the police including dad. My dad was looking at me with a furious face. I didn't know what was happening . My brother cried continuously. My granny hugged us tightly and wiped her and tears.
" Don't you worry dears. Everything will be alright... Everything will...
