"Play nice, kitty."

"Are you gonna make me?"
โข โข โข
Haley runs towards the sound of Roy's voice, closely followed by Juliet and the others. They all immediately come to a halt as they analyze the scene before their eyes, tents torn and bloody and all the camp supplies are scattered 'round the area.
Haley's eyes widen as she covers her mouth in shock.
"Oh my God."
Harlow whimpers in Sam's arms and holds her arms out towards her father. Sam immediately complies and hands his neice to his brother. The little Winchester burries her face in the crook of Dean's neck as the said man rubs calming circles on her back in comfort.
Roy also surveys the scene before looking back to the sister of the missing brother. "Looks like a grizzly." Juliet scoffs as she rolls her eyes, Roy either chooses to ignore her or just doesn't notice. The only Sullivan child and oldest Winchester brother share a knowing look before they, along with Sam take a look around the camp site.
As the three hunters examine the bloody scene before them, Haley takes off her backpack and drops it onto the ground before going through the campsite. "Tommy?" Dean, Juliet and Sam look at each other as the Collins girl starts to walk through the site.
"Tommy!"
Hearing her shout, Sam walks towards her and gently grabs ahold of her arm, turning her to face him. The youngest Winchester sibling puts his finger to his lip, "Shh." But Haley doesn't listen and continues to shout her brothers name. "Tommy!"
Juliet then decides to intervene and shushes the girl for a second time. Haley, confused, turns to Juliet and furrows her eyebrows.
"Why?"
"Because something could still be out there and I ain't talkin' about a grizzly bear."
Haley goes to question Juliet on what she means but Dean interrupts before she can get a word out.
"Babe! Sam!."
The two look at each other before going over to Dean, who now has Harlow standing beside him. Juliet watches as her boyfriend crouches down and gestures for her and Sam to do the same, which they do.
"The bodies were dragged from the campsite. But here, the tracks just vanish. That's weird."
Juliet wipes the dirt off of her jeans as she stands up with Sam and Dean. The latter turns to the two as he grabs Harlows hand in his. "I'll tell you what, that's no skinwalker or black dog." Juliet hums and nods her head in agreement. "At least that narrows it down."
The little family of four make there way back to the campsite. Juliet's eyes move to Haley and watches her every move as she picks up Tommy's cell which is covered in some blood.
His blood.
Juliet and Dean share a look as Haley cries and turns the cellphone over, finding the back of the cell open. Juliet slowly walks over to the upset girl and puts her arm around her shoulders. "Hey, don't lose hope." Haley offers Juliet a weak and small smile which the huntress returns.
Dean turns to the two girls and nods his head, hearing what Juliet said. "Yeah, he could still be alive."
Juliet and Haley turn and give the older Winchester brother a deadpan look.
"How about you leave this to me, hon?"
Dean clears his throat, holding his hands up in surrender as he looks away from the tender moment between the two women before walking off.
Harlow whimpers and jumps in fright as a loud and booming voice echo's around the forest, screaming for help. The three adult hunters' share a look as they all simultaneously ready their weapons; Dean and Sam cocking their guns while Juliet loads up an arrow in her crossbow, ready to fire.
Dean and Juliet instinctively move closer to their daughter, making sure she is between them, safe and sound, as they look around for the source of the voice but find no one.
Haley also looks around in a mix of confusion and fright. "It seemed like it was coming from around here, didn't it?"
Everyone remains quiet as they listen out for it again but there's nothing but errie silence and that didn't sit right with any of the hunters.
"Everybody back to camp."
Juliet and Dean look at Sam and nod their heads, silently agreeing with the tall man, as they all start to make their way back to the camp.
โข โข โข
Haley is the first to enter the camp, followed by the rest of the troop. The Collins girls eyes widen as she surveys the campsite, immediately knowing something isn't right.
"Our Packs!"
Harlow runs over to Juliet and grabs her hand as Roy looks around and shakes his head, "So much for my GPS and my satellite phone." Haley looks to Juliet with a look of frustraion, fear and confusion in her eyes. "What the hell is going on?" Instead of answering the younger woman, Juliet looks over to Sam.
"This thing is smart, i'll give it that."
Sam nods his head, "It wants to cut us off so we can't call for help."
Roy turns to the two hunters, "You mean someone, some nutjob out there just stole all our gear."
Juliet rolls her eyes as she picks up Harlow while also addressing Roy. "Oh yeah Roy, it's just some nutjob." The said man huffs at the sarcasm dripping from the huntress' tongue. The twenty-three year old makes her way towards Dean with Harlow in her arms.
"That man infuriates me."
Dean laughs at Juliets words as he takes Harlow from her arms and sets the young Winchester girl on his shoulders, earning a small giggle out of the five-year old which causes a smile to light up on Dean's face despite the situation they are all in.
"Look mommy, I'm taller than you."
Juliet looks up with a smile on her face. "I can see that." She then looks at the oldest Winchester brother. "Be careful not to drop her, Dean." The said man rolls his eyes. "You have so little faith in me, Jules."
Juliet playfully rolls her eyes at his words as Sam walks up to them. "I need to speak with you two. In private." Juliet nods her head as Dean sets Harlow down on the ground, the young girl sighing sadly as he did.
Dean smiles and ruffles Harlow's hair, messing it up. "I'll carry you on my shoulders later, kid. Promise. How about you go and comfort Haley while your Mom and me go and talk with Uncle Sammy, she looks a bit upset."
Harlow immediately perks up at hearing her Dad's promise and nods her head. "Otay!" With that, Harlow skips her way over to the Collins girl and takes ahold of her hand while starting to talk to her.
Juliet, Dean and Sam walk a little ways away from the group, Juliet making sure to keep a watchful eye on her daughter.
"Let me see Dad's Journal."
Dean hands the said Journal over to his little brother, he and Juliet watch as Sam opens it and flips through it until he finds the page he wants. "All right, check that out." The mother and father of one lean over Sams shoulder as the said Winchester points to a drawing of a figure that looks as if it was drawn in first-nation style.
Upon looking at the figure, Juliet recognizes it straight away and so does Dean as the said man scoffs and shakes his head. "Oh come on, Wendigos are in Minnesota woods or, or northern Michigan. I've never even heard of one this far west."
Juliet takes the book out of Sams hands and takes a look at the notes written underneath the drawing of the Wendigo before flicking her eyes back up to Dean. "I think Sam's right. Think 'bout it, hon. The claws, the way it can mimmick a human voice. The signs are right there."
Dean rolls his eyes."Great." Juliet and Sam watch as he takes out his pistol with a look of annoyance. "Well then this is useless."
Juliet hands John's journal back to her boyfriend as Sam starts to walk away from the two before stopping to look at them. "We gotta get these people to safety." Before Dean and Juliet can say anything, Sam continues to make his way back over to the group and addresses them while Harlow runs back to Dean and Juliet, who both have their eyes locked on Sam.
"All right, listen up, it's time to go. Things have gotten...more complicated."
Haley steps foward with a look of confusion on her face.
"What?"
Roy shakes his head, haven mistaken Sam's urgency as worry. "Kid, don't worry. Whatever's out there, I think I can handle it."
Juliet quietly scoffs and rolls her eyes at the mans words as she quitely mutters to Dean, "He's gonna get himself killed." Dean hums and nods his head in agreement, watching as his little brother starts to get riled up.
"It's not me I'm worried about. If you shoot this thing, you're just gonna make it mad. We have to leave. Now."
Roy scoffs at Sam's warning, not believing him.
"One, you're talking nonsense. Two, you're in no position to give anybody orders."
Dean then decides to step into the conversation. "Relax." But what Dean says, is ignored by both Sam and Roy. The former scoffing. "We never should have let you come out here in the first place, all right? I'm trying to protect you." Those words seem to set Roy off more as the said man steps into Sam's space. "You protect me? I was hunting in these woods when your mommy was still kissing you good night."
Sam huffs angrily at Roys stubborness and bigheadedness. "Yeah? It's a damn near perfect hunter. It's smarter than you, and it's gonna hunt you down and eat you alive unless we get your stupid sorry ass out of here."
Juliet watches as Roy laughs in Sam's face while weaving her fingers through Harlow's hair as the said young girl cowers in her mothers arms, frightened of the argument that's happening in front of her.
"You know you're crazy, right?"
A look of frustration grows on the taller Winchester's face as he grows redder by the second.
"Yeah? You ever hunt a wen-"
Juliet snaps her eyes to Dean and the said man immediately gets the memo and shoves his way between the two and pushes his younger and stupid brother away from Roy as Haley shouts the said man and Dean's name in shock.
Dean ignores Haley and looks at his brother with an annoyed look in his eyes.
"Chill out."
Haley cries out in frustration as she looks between Roy, Dean and Sam. "Stop. Stop it! Everybody just stop. Look, Tommy might still be alive. And I'm not leaving here without him."
There's a long pause between the group as they all process Haley's words. Juliet smirks at the young woman for putting her foot down. Dean sighs before looking up at the sky, which has already started to darken, before walking back to his girlfriend and child.
"It's getting late. This thing is a good hunter in the day, but an unbelievable hunter at night. We'll never beat it, not in the dark. We need to settle in and protect ourselves."
"How?"
Juliet looks at Haley with a smirk on her face. "Who's up for a little night out in the woods?"
No sound is heard from the adults in the group but Harlow let out a groan of annoyance, absolutely hating the idea of camping out for the night.
โข โข โข
A few hours later and the sky is painted black and in that time the group have built themselves a campfire. Juliet plays with her daughters hair while keeping her brown orbs locked on Dean, watching as he draws symbols into the dirt in order to protect them for the night. Harlow lays asleep on her mothers lap, Dean had put his leather jacket on her sleeping figure in order to keep her warm.
Juliets eyes move to Haley's figure and quirks an eyebrow to see the younger womans eyes on Dean.
"One more time, that's-"
The said man looks up at Haley to see that she's talking to him. Dean smiles a bit while answering her question, "Anasazi symbols. It's for protection. The wendigo can't cross over them."
Roy laughs mockingly as he slings his gun over his shoulder. Juliet glares at him, "Nobody likes a skeptic, Roy." Dean stands up and heads towards Sam, stopping by Juliet. Dean looks down at her with a knowing look in his eyes. "Play nice, Kitty."
Juliet smirks at him. "Are you gonna make me?"
Dean swallows the lump in his throat as he clears his throat and leans down to whisper in her ear.
"Let's say if don't obey, you'll be punished for it."
Juliet closes her eyes as Dean kisses her ear. When she opens them, her brown eyes connect with his candy-apple green ones and a smirk plays on her lips as she winks at him. "I look foward to it."
Dean hums as he leans in for a kiss that Juliet deepens with her tongue. Dean groans as he's forced to pull away, knowing his younger brother is sulking by a tree a few feet away. "I'll be back to finish this later."
Juliet quietly laughs as she taps Dean on the shoulder while looking over at Sam. "Go and comfort your brother." Dean leans in for one more kiss that Juliet returns before making his way over to Sam.
Haley approaches Juliet as Dean sits next to Sam. Juliet looks up at the younger woman and smiles at her as she takes a seat next to Juliet and looks down at Harlow.
"Suprised how she can sleep so easily when she was so opposed to the idea of camping out for the night."
Juliet laughs as she to, looks down at her peacefully sleeping daughter and runs her hands through her reddish-brown locks of hair.
"She gets it from her father."
Haley looks up at Juliet in confusion, silently asking her what she means. Juliet huffs a laugh. "I mean, Harlows ability to easily fall asleep in the most oddest of places." Haley nods her head in understanding.
"How old were you when you had her? That's if you don't mind me asking."
Juliet shakes her head with a soft smile on her face. "Of course not. I was 18 when I had her, Dean was 21." Haley looks at Juliet, another question on her mind. "How old were you when you and Dean got together?"
"I was 16 and he was 19. Why all the sudden questions?"
Haley blushes as she tucks some of her hair behind her ear. "I just want to get to know you better." Juliet quirks an eyebrow at that. "Haley, you don't want me as a friend." The Collins girl furrows her eybrows. "Why?"
Juliet sighs and looks down at her daughter in thought before meeting Haley's eyes.
"Because I don't stick around for very long, we're always on the road. I tried having a friend once, her name was Cassie but it didn't work out, my job got in the way and I haven't made a friend since. I have my family."
Haley looks at Juliet with a look of sadness but before she can reply a piercing scream echos around the forest, sounding like someone screaming for help.
Juliet jumps up along with Harlow, the little girl now wide awake as she was startled by the screaming. Juliet looks to Dean to see him pull out his gun, Juliet decides to arm herself as she ushers Harlow behind her.
The huntress pulls out her collapsible cross bow and with excellent skill, draws an arrow in a flash and has it drawed between the bowstring in the second it would take you to blink. Juliet looks towards Dean and Sam.
"It's trying to draw us out."
She then looks toward the rest of the group. "Just stay cool and stay put." Roy turns to the twenty-three year old mockingly. "And stay inside your boyfriends magic circle?" Juliet glares at the bitter old man and clenches her teeth. "Yes, you idijit."
Harlow whimpers and clutches Juliets jeans as the scream for help echos around the forest, once again. A growl then comes from the trees causing Roy to point his gun in the direction it's coming from.
Juliet turns her cross bow that way as well as Roy's face turns as white as a sheet.
"Okay, that's not a grizzly."
Juliet huffs and swallows down the smartass comment that she so desperately wants to throw in his face. Her eyes, instead, lock onto Haley who has moved towards her little brother and watches as she takes ahold of his hand and comforts him.
Suddenly, a figure runs at the speed of lighting past the Collins girl causing her to shriek. Juliet aims her cross bow in that direction as Sam and Dean move closer to Juliet and Harlow, the former now being protected by her family on all sides.
Sam turns to his best friend and brother.
"It's here."
A loud gunshot comes from beside Juliet, her eyes move to Roy who had fired the shoot. The young mother goes to tell Roy to cut it out but the man shoots his gun again and a screech of pain pierces their ears.
A smile lights up Roy's face as he looks at the group in excitement.
"I hit it."
Juliet shakes her head as Roy goes to see what he's hit as Dean calls out to him, "Roy, no! Roy!" The candy apple-eyed man turns to Haley and Ben. "Don't move." He then looks to Juliet and Sam the former looking down to their daughter. "Stay with Haley and Ben. Don't go running off. we'll be back in just a tick, okay?"
Harlow with a worried look in her eyes, nods her head.
"Otay."
Juliet kisses Harlow on the forehead before letting her run over to Haley. With a look that tells Haley to look after her daughter, Juliet follows after Sam and Dean with an arrow locked and loaded to strike.
The three hunters run after Roy with their weapons drawn, ready to shoot.
"It's over here! It's in the tree."
Before Roy can say anything else, the Wendigo that succeeded in luring Roy to its trap, reaches down from the tree that Roy is standing under and snaps his neck in a blink of an eye.
The three hunters run in the direction that Roy's voice was coming from but when they arrive, no one is there.
The three look at each other and they each turn on their flashlights.
"Roy!"
But there is no answer. The three hunters are just met with eerie silence in the dead of night which can only mean one thing...he's dead.
Juliet looks down at the ground in anger and clenches her teeth.
"Damn it, Roy!"
