The car ride turned silent after Leah had told Osyth all the day's events. Including her turning into a huge wolf along with Seth.

And the only thing that bothered the girl was the fact that Harry died today.

It hurt her deeply since she was looking forward to meeting the male that she'd heard so much about.

Sadly, she was starting to wonder if she was bad luck.

He dies on the day that she's able to be adopted? And then her new mom and uncle turned into wolves and the dude that hurt her new mom is said alpha of the pack, meaning that her mom's old- ex? cousin is the 'luna' or whatever it's called. And it all happened today?

Maybe she's bad luck or maybe today is just a shit day because of the way that it started.

It could have nothing to do with her and she's just overthinking.

She couldn't imagine the pain that her mom, uncle and some others were all going through. "I'm sorry to hear all of that, momma." Osyth says softly and the woman felt her heart melt and ache at the same time.

Leah hated how sadden the girl sounded and she knew that she has been looking forward to meeting her dad.

"It's okay, it'll all be okay," she softly says to her daughter with a smile tugging at her lips.

Her daughter.

Holy fuck, she has a daughter. Will she ever get used to that fact? Probably not as she'll always be in awe and disbelief everytime it sinks in that she's a mom now.

Osyth glances at the woman, seeing the smile on her lips and she relaxes at the sight. If she says that it will all be okay then it will.

Today was just a bad day and sadly she knows that bad days happen. And that sucks because they can come at just any damn time. "Okay," she says with a nod watching as Leah's smile widens as she focused on the road.

Just as Leah and Osyth stepped inside of the house hand in hand with the woman carrying Osyth's things, the sound of the house phone started ringing.

"Ugh, come on." Leah sighed out as she and Osyth wonders more into the house as she headed towards the phone.

She took once glance at the phone before she just rolled her eyes and ignored the ringing phone. "Come on, I'll show you your room that Grandpa helped fixed up for you," Leah says softly as she looked down at Osyth who nodded her head as the two made their way upstairs.

Osyth follows silently, her eyes taking in the house that was now her home.

Warmth bloomed in her chest, feeling as she was lucky and she was. She believes that she is to be adopted and by someone like Leah.

She already felt safe and loved, she feels cared for and it was her first day in the house. Her house. Her home.

It was such a weird thought, the fact that she now has a home. Did she deserve it? Maybe or maybe not.

That doesn't matter.

Soon the two stopped before a door that was painted black with just bits of dark purple mixed in and Osyth had a great feeling about her room from this alone.

Leah opens the door, walking in with the small child following and looks her way. She watched as Osyth's eyes widened at the sight of the room, her eyes taking in every single detail, her mouth agape as she did.

Does that mean she likes it? She thinks as she glances around the room. It was an interesting room, one that many kids would not want but she knew Osyth. She knew what she liked and didn't like, it's why she was really sure about how the room needed to look. She was sure of all the colours too.

The room was a perfect mix of black and dark purple, two of Osyth's most favorite colours. The curtains were all silk and a mix of the two colours. It even had some ghostfaces on it. The bed was big for just a child and looked more like it was for a teen but they believed that the child had deserved it. The sheets and blankets are all black though the pillowcases were all dark purple.

There was a nightstand right next to the bed, the rugs all either black or purple.

A space in the corner of the room has a desk and a chair, the desk having a few horror books on it. The other corner was a little comfortable nook that matches all the colours of the room and it had some sort of silk black curtains surrounding it as to give whomever sits there just some privacy. There is a fan on the ceiling and a few glow in the dark ghostface stickers on it.

An nice sized tv was mounted onto the wall, there were a few stuffed toys on the bed and her closet was stocked full of clothing.

The next door in the room was an entire bathroom that Osyth will have all to her damn self.

Speaking of Osyth, she loves the room. It was perfect and she felt like she was in heaven. Did I die? She thought to herself as she contiuned to look around in awe.

How was this life now?

"Wow," she breathes out and Leah lets a sigh of relief pass her lips. She knows a good 'wow' when she hears it. "Grandpa did most of the work," Leah says and the child nods. "I know," she says softly and glances by the door, smiling lightly at the ghostly figure that stood proudly, slightly leaning against the frame.

"Damnit, she isn't answering!" Sue yells out in fustration as more tears gathered in her eyes, hanging up the phone as one more call went unanswered.

It's been almost three hours of her just calling non-stop, something that made the wolves uncomfortable. Why would she call so much when Leah obviously wasn't answering?

And probably for a food reason? Sam is the only wolf that seemed sadden for the woman.

Emily frowns deeply seeing the woman that was a second mother to her like this. She leans over, bringing her into a hug that she returned.

How could Leah do this to her mother?? She thinks in disbelief, unable to see an reason for the girl to be acting this way. Why wouldn't she tell her mom that she adopted a child? Why keep it from her? It didn't make any sense to her.

Maybe it never will neither as she didn't see a reason for Leah to treat Sue a way that she didn't deserve. "She'll answer in a bit, maybe she's busy." She says, trying to comfort the woman as Seth walked in the room.

He was dressed, seeming like he's going to head out. He wasn't dressed for some party or anything since he shifted, he's barely wore a shirt today.

"She's actually not bust right now," Seth says as his favorite thing to right now is rub salt into a wound. It was amusing to him.

His words made all eyes snap over to the male who had a lollipop in his mouth as he stared blankly at his mother and that girl that betrayed his sister.

They were so close, closer than Sue has ever been with him and Leah. How was that fair?

He watches as his mother rubs her nose, sniffling. "What do you mean?" She asks the male who rolled his eyes. "Just like I said. Leah isn't busy, I mean she can't be since she answered all of my calls since she left," he added. "Well I'm gonna head out, don't wait up as I'm staying over by Leah's." He contiuned before he left the house with a pep in his steps and a grin on his lips.

The grin only grew when he heard Sue start wailing. He should feel bad but it's not like she didn't deserve this.

Plus, it's fun being petty. Now he really understood why people did it. He had really enjoyed rubbing that in her face.

Ain't I a stinker? He thought with a low laugh, deciding to just walk to his sister's house. He was a wolf now afterall.

He wonders if she'd run to Charlie and seek comfort.

She seemed to like doing that and Seth's not sure if the man can even see what she's doing and doesn't mind of if he's unable to tell and thinks that he's only doing his best to help out his deceased friend's wife.

Which was it? He didn't know.

Leah stood in the kitchen, the scent of food in the air while Osyth stood right near the door, staring outside while she awaited for her uncle Seth.

She was excited to meet him face to face finally and is beaming with excitement.

"Calm down little one," she hears and a pout tugs at her lips, glancing over at the ghostly figure next to her. "But I'm very excited," she whines out, making Harry chuckle.

He didn't know how she was able to see him, hear him speak and talk back but he was glad for it since he's been looking forward to this day eversince he learned about her.

Was she gifted? She has to be.

It's the only thing that made sense. But what was she gifted with? Did she come from a line of witches? They were rare- well they were normally just in hiding but they're strong.

Their magic was something else too and they were able to do just about anything. "I know," Harry replies as Leah peaks in the room, brows furrowed when seeing that Osyth was staring at something or someone she couldn't see.

With her enhanced hearing, she heard the girl talking to someone but never can see who it is.

"What's death like Grandpa? Are you in pain? You don't look like you're in pain," she hears and stiffens instantly as Osyth looked up at someone she couldn't see.

Grandpa?? She thinks to herself as she tried to remain calm but was unable to do so, her mind racing.

Osyth can somehow see Harry?

"It's calming, atleast for me and no, I'm not in pain." The male replied and Osyth nods her head. "I'm glad that you're not in pain," Osyth says and Leah teared up at that.

I'm glad you're not in pain too, she thinks with a sniffle as she looked away, a small watery smile appearing on her lips.

Vampires existed, she and Seth are now huge wolves and apart of a damn pack, now her daughter can see her deceased Grandpa?

What the fuck is her life?

"Uncle Seth!" Osyth yelled out suddenly and Leah looked out the window to see her brother running over to the door, a goofy smile on his lips making her smile as she wiped her tears quickly.

Their dad was dead yet Osyth is able to speak to him, able to see him from how she would look up and such.

Fuck, Leah was confused yet she felt as if the weight on her shoulders lightened at the fact that though he's gone, Osyth can speak to him, meaning so can Seth and her as well. Maybe not directly but still.

He wasn't fully gone like she thought he was.

She's not stuck with Sue of a mother like she thought neither. She and Seth seem to still have Harry.

They still have their father.

The sound of giggling was heard and her head tilts to the side, seeing Osyth trying to get away from Seth as he was tickling her. "Nooo!" The child cries out through her laughter, making Seth smile and a warm smile tugs at Leah's lips.

Everything's going to be just fine? Right?

"Aye, leave my daughter alone boy." She calls out jokingly and Seth snorted as he picked his niece up, closing the door. "I ain't do nothing," he says. "Food smells good," he added as his stomach made a rumbling sound.
