"Gemini, are you even paying attention?" Virgo asked, annoyed at her little sister.

"Mhm," Gemini said distractedly as she continued to wash the dishes. She couldn't stop thinking about Aries' words. Ever since that day, she hasn't heard from him. But he did say she was getting the rest of the week off. Four days had passed and tomorrow would be her next trial. Maybe.

"As I was saying," Vigo continued, "Pisces and Scorpio's wedding is going to be-"

"Beuaitufl with those purple and blue flowers Capricorn had specially grown for the wedding. I know," Gemini interrupted. She loved her sister with all her heart and looked forward to her dropping by for family dinner, but Virgo had been going on and on about the big wedding for the past few hours. And no matter how many times Gemini had told her to stop, she would stop for a few minutes before starting up again.

Virgo nodded, not paying any heed to her sister's annoyance, unaware that she had been rambling on and on for the past three hours. "Yes, and then after the vows..."

Gemini zoned out. She was kind of sick of hearing the same things over and over again. She knew Virgo was excited about Pisces and Scorpio getting married, but did she have to torture all of them like this?

"Gemini!"

She jumped at Virgo's sharp tone.

"If you're not interested then just tell me instead of zoning out," Virgo said harshly.

"Well, you've been going on and on about the wedding the whole night. Even Mother and Father are sick of hearing about that. We've told you enough was enough, but do you ever listen? No! I know you're excited, but you need to know when it's getting too much."

"Sorry," Virgo muttered, looking back down at the dishes. She was silent for a moment before she said, "So during the wedding-"

"Virgo!" Gemini yelled. "Just shut up about the wedding for once!"

Virgo tensed up. She slammed down the dishes she had been wiping before she stormed out of the kitchen.

Gemini felt a twinge of guilt. "Virgo-"

But Virgo was already gone.

Gemini sighed. She never meant to lose her temper with her sister, but she had a lot on her mind and Virgo wasn't helping. Whatever, after a few days, they will be back to normal if Gemini would apologise. Well, she didn't feel like apologising at the moment and Virgo needed some space so they probably won't be talking for another week or so.

Putting the rest of the dishes on the drying rack, she wiped her hands on her pants and walked out of the kitchen. As she passed by her parents, she only had one thought running through her head.

"Gemini, where's Virgo?" Zadkiel asked as Gemini walked past the couch she and Mercury were sitting on.

-about Virgo.

Dammit. She was so close to the stairs leading upstairs to her room. If only she had just walked a little faster then she would be safe in the confines of her room.

"Uh, she left," Gemini said, turning around to face her parents.

Her father frowned. "Already? She didn't even say goodbye."

"We fought," she said shortly, storming off before her parents could say anything.

"Gemini?" Mercury called after her. "Gemini!"

But she slammed the door of her room shut.

Just take the time to be with your family, okay?

What was happening? Usually, she could tolerate Virgo's ramblings. Wait...was it just her or did her room smell weird...

Just don't have any regrets later...like Ophiuchus did.

She longed for some sleep after the late movie nights. Yes, she was just tired which often made her more irritable. All she needed was some sleep then everything would be okay again. Maybe she would wake up and find out it was all just a dream.

She stumbled towards her bed in a daze. Her eyes were drooping and her limbs felt heavy. All she wanted to do was collapse onto her soft mattress and never wake up. Her mind was foggy and the strange smell seemed to be getting stronger.

Her legs gave out and she welcomed the darkness that came for her with open arms. As her eyes closed, she didn't notice the shadow hovering over her.
