Since Stella works for the hospital, he gets physical therapy, which is covered on her insurance. Since she had the day off, she decided she would go and visit her little brother. Putting the impala in park, Stella placed her sunglasses on top of her head, and greeted her brother.

"Hey baby bro." Stella smiled as she embraced her brother. "How are you feeling? How was therapy?"

"It was fine, I'm feeling alright and I still can't feel anything." August said

"Hon, it's not gonna happen overnight." Stella said as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Give it sometime."

Before anything else could be said, a magazine with a very attractive woman in a bikini on the cover came into view in front of August's face. The Walker siblings looked at it confused before looking up to see Johnny leaning over the railing holding a fishing pole.

"Johnny, what the hell?" Stella chuckled

"What's this?" August said

"This is a collection of the tastiest babes of 1988. You're not gonna get to see 'em unless you grab it." Johnny smirked

"Ok." August said as he went to reach for it, only for Johnny to reel up the magazine make him miss.

"You're gonna have to try harder than that." Johnny said

"You know I can just find these pictures on my phone right?" August said

"Yeah well, it's not the same. Chicks are hotter on the page." Johnny said

Stella rolled her eyes, and wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Ugh, that's disgusting Johnny."

"You won't know unless you get off your butt, or you can just keep getting foot rubs from that pansy-ass therapist." Johnny said to August

"Alright look baby bro, don't get up too fast, just try to get up very carefully okay?" Stella said

August nodded, then reached for the magazine, but Johnny brought it up again, making him miss. "Weak! That all you got Walker? I thought you were the All Valley Champ?" Johnny said

Johnny lowered the magazine in front of August again, while the teen let out a frustrated sigh before trying again. He pushed his hands on the metal arms of the wheelchair and pushed himself up. He reached his hand up, and his fingers gently brushed the bottom of the magazine, when he lost his balance and fell over

"August." Stella said as she ran over to help him

"Oh shit." Johnny muttered as he dropped the fishing pole and ran down the stairs

Stella wrapped her arms around her brother's waist and lifted him back in to the chair. "You okay hon?"

"You all right?" Johnny asked

"Yeah." August said

"Hey listen give it a minute and then we'll go again," Johnny stated. "I still have my Vanna White Playboy, that'll get you going."

"Don't you get it? You could dangle a new PlayStation in front of me, and I still wouldn't be able to stand up." August said then wheeled away sadly. Stella didn't want to admit it, but she didn't think her brother, would ever be able to walk again, despite his surgery, and that's something that made her heart sink.

Later that afternoon, Stella and August joined Johnny in the courtyard, where he was cooking the three of them hotdogs, and lighting the grill, as 80s rock music played on his stereo.

"You know why they call this a hibachi?" Johnny as after he lit the grill

"They don't. It's a kettle grill." August said

"Hundred years ago in ancient China, there was a tiny little village of dairy farmers, living fat off their milk and cheese. Then when the drought came, they needed to get water from the river. None of the Chinamen wanted to do their work." Johnny said

"I'm not sure that's the appropriate term," Stella said

"China people, whatever." Johnny said and then looked down at August. The point is, they were laying around in hammocks waiting for rain. So a wise man gathered up a bunch of twigs and stuffed it under the villagers while they slept. Know why he did then?" Johnny asked.

"Lit a fire under them?" Stella asked

"Exactly. That's where the expression comes from. Do you know what that wise man's name was?" Johnny asked as he kneeled down next to August

"Hibachi?" August asked sarcastically

"Damn straight" Johnny replied

"Yeah genius, except hibachis are from Japan, not China, where there weren't a lot of dairy farmers, historically or hammocks. You think I'd fall for that?" August asked

"No, but I knew you'd be too busy calling my bullshit to know what I was really up to." Johnny said.

"Oh, yeah? Which is?" Stella asked with a raised eyebrow

"Lighting a fire under him." Johnny said as he lifted the bottle of lighter fluid and lighter

"What did you do?" August asked looking down at his feet. Johnny lit his shoelace on fire.

"Johnny, what the hell did you do?!" Stella questioned angrily as she got out of her chair to stomp out the fire, but Johnny held his hand up to her.

"Are you insane?" August asked.

"Depends who you ask. Come on, Walker! Shake a leg." Johnny said

"I can't!" August said

"You can if you want it bad enough." Johnny said

"It's all I want!" August shouted

"Then focus! Tell your brain to tell your legs to get their asses moving!" Johnny said

August tried with all his might, but he couldn't. The flame got closer to August's foot when it caught on to his socks, making the fire spread to his leg.

"Sensei, it's going up my leg!" August shouted

Johnny grabbed the fire extinguisher, and put out the fire. "I really thought that would work." the blonde said

"Why didn't it?" August asked out of pure frustration. "My foot was on fire, and I didn't feel a thing. Why is nothing working? It's fine I should probably just clean up before my dad gets home." he added as he wheeled away sadly.

Stella and Johnny sat in his Reseda apartment. While she looked though her nursing books, he looked online, sadly it was a lost cause. Then, he saw something that made him smirk, and she saw it too.

"What are you smirking at?" Stella said as she turned the page in her book

"Just got another idea." Johnny said as he stood up and grabbed his keys

"Is this another idea that's gonna put his life in complete jeopardy?" Stella teased

"You're funny princess. I honestly thought those tactics would work." Johnny said. "No, there's a Dee Snider Concert, and I think it will be good for him."

"You don't mean the one and only badass Dee Snider?" Stella said as she stood up from the couch. "Holy shit. But we have to have tickets to get in to a concert."

"Nah, you leave that to me." Johnny said as he and the brunette walked out the door

"Should I be worried?" Stella chuckled as Johnny locked up his apartment

"Back in the 80's, my buddies and I used to sneak in to rock concerts all the time. My buddy Dutch got hammered and ended up banging a chick in the corner." Johnny laughed

"Okay, your buddy Dutch, sounds so awesome, yet for throwing milk duds at Ali, he sounds like a bit of an ass, yet I feel like I need to meet him sometime." Stella chuckled

"You have no idea how awesome he was." Johnny said. "Just hate that he went down the wrong path."

"What exactly did he do?" Stella said as they stopped walking completely

"Well, back in the mid 90's, it was after Bobby made a life for himself, Jimmy got married and made a life for himself, as well as Tommy growing up at least, Dutch and I were at the country club when he hot wired a golf cart and drove it into the pool." Johnny said

Stella decided to change the subject, sensing Johnny's melancholy mood. "Well, we should probably get August."

"Yeah." Johnny said

โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€

"And I thought this place looked scary from the outside, where are we sensei?" August said as he looked up at Johnny and Stella clutched onto Johnny's arm

"Uh, Johnny?" Stella said as she nervously clutched onto the blonde's sleeve

"It's a field trip." Johnny said, then took a backpack and placed it in August's lap. "Here, take this and follow my lead."

As they approached the door, the security guard stepped in front of the door, stopping them from going into the venue. "Nice try, come back when he's 21." the guard said.

"Yeah, that's gonna be tough. He'll be dead by then." Johnny said. "Should be dead already. Everyday is a gift. He has a bucket list and getting past that door is number 1 on it." he said as August started to fake cough

"All right, go ahead, good luck kid." The bouncer said

As they walked into the venue, Stella smiled as she looked up on to the stage and saw the one and only Dee Snider performing.

"That's Dee Snider, the most badass rocker ever." Johnny said as August looked up towards the stage

"How is this part of his physical therapy?" Stella asked

"It's not." Johnny said as he reached into the bag to get some beers and opened the cans and gave one to the both of them. "Just forget about that and have some fun."

Stella grabbed her phone, and opened up her Snapchat. She took a selfie with her brother and Johnny, saved it and posted it to her Snapchat story

"Can I get a copy of that?" Johnny asked

"Don't worry, I'll tag you!" Stella smiled

"Tag me? What the hell does that mean?" Johnny said

"Check your Facebook." August said as he sipped his beer

"I don't have Facebook anymore, I threw my phone away." Johnny said

"You know it's on your computer too, right?" August asked and Johnny gave him a confused look

"Oh, yeah." Johnny said

The song soon came to an end and Dee Snider grabbed the microphone. "All right, all right. So, I hear there's a Make-A-Wish kid in the house tonight." Dee said.

"Yeah right here! Right here!" Johnny shouted, pointing at August.

"There he is. There he is. Ladies, let's make that kids wish come true." Dee said. A group of girls glanced over at August and smiled as well as giggled.

"All right. Now repeat after Dee." Dee said

Dee started singing I Wanna Rock. August gave a loud cheer and started singing along. Stella looked down at her brother with a smile before looking down at his foot. It was tapping.

Tapping Johnny on the shoulder, he looked over at the brunette, giving her the look of love, before she pointed to her brother's foot. After looking at August's foot, Johnny and Stella looked at each other with wide eyes. They couldn't believe it. His methods worked better than physical therapy, and even her medical training.

Johnny tapped August on the shoulder, and he pointed to his foot. August looked down and gasped. The blonde grinned and brought August in for a hug, then brought Stella in as well.

โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€

"Well, you weren't lying. You certainly know your way around concerts." Stella laughed as she stood beside her impala

"It was better in the 80s." Johnny laughed

Stella playfully rolled her eyes and laughed. "Yeah, yeah. Heard that before. Anyway, I gotta get going. I have an early shift in the morning. But I'll talk to you soon okay?"

"Be careful, okay?" Johnny said as he embraced the brunette. "I'll see you tomorrow?"

"I'll be getting off late, but I'll definitely call you." Stella smiled

"Alright princess." Johnny said. "Don't work too hard."

Smiling and winking at him, Stella opened the door to her impala, and drove towards her apartments. Johnny walked back into his apartment complex, grabbed a beer, and logged into his Facebook.

"Now what the hell is a tag?" Johnny muttered to himself as he went to his Facebook page and found the pictures August had posted and tagged him in.

Looking up at the right hand corner, he noticed a notification and clicked on it. He clicked on the friend requests icon expecting it to be one of the students from the dojo. But it was none other than Ali. Now Johnny and Ali hadn't seen each other since senior year, let alone the first time in over 30 years they have spoken to one another.
