KIRA YAEKO was a disaster. She was a walking hurricane waiting to blow through. Since her first steps she was running into things she shouldn't. There was humor in the way she walked into things head first, never second guessing herself. She was confident in nearly every decision she made. Nearly, being the operative word.

  When her mother gives her allegiance over to the Light, Kira follows in suit with a heavy heart. They were killers, hired guns. Blood was all Kira knew, yet piling bodies for the cabal of super villains felt dirty. She finally grew a conscience, all it took was seeing the work of Vandal Savage for the girl to question her alliance with not just the Light, but her mother as well.

KATERINA VASILIOU was hope. She wore the title like a badge of honor. It was something her mother often told her as she laid with her head resting on her lap, soothing fingers combing through her hair. She was the hope searched for in the darkest of times. Katerina would be the one to shoulder the weight of her mother's fears, the things that had her afraid to leave.

  Given the opportunity to work under her aunt, Katerina finds herself caught in a battle for hope and love. She fights for the people of the mainland, for her home. Above all else, she fights for herself.

So I'm writing yet another 'Young Justice' fic, this time a little different. We will see the story of two young women fighting their own battles and finding themselves in the chaos.

The idea of this story came back the fact in the 2004 Teen Titans show Wally and Jinx had something going on. I decided to merge my villain x Wally fic with my sapphic one for Artemis. Also, the title came from Rey. Y'know 'best of both worlds' like the Hannah Montana song🧍‍♀️
