        ARCHER GRAYSON HADN'T ALWAYS been as serious as he was now. In fact, he had grown up being a boy who couldn't wipe the smile off his face. His mother used to joke about him not taking things seriously enough, though she never wished for him to change. But off the boy went to military camp to make his dream come true, and become the man his father had always wanted him to be.

        A FEW WEEKS IN THE khaki pants had been enough for everyone to see that this was the job Archer had always meant to do. He had both the body and the head for it. Too bad things didn't end well. Archer had spent six years with the military when James Grayson thought it would do good for his other son, Brian, too to join the Army. Well, it didn't. And it changed Archer for a life.

        BY THE TIME HE CUT down his younger brother's lifeless body from the rope he used to hang himself in his barracks, he was done. He loved that boy more than anything. And he told his father not to do this to him, but he wouldn't listen. Brian had never been as strong as Archer, but he was perfectly fine with that. He liked to look after his brother, the only person he could trust, no matter what. And now, for the past 5 years, Brian had been lying in a coma in a hospital bed, somewhere his father didn't know.

        ARCHER WAS DONE WITH THE Army life after this incident. Regardless of his superiors' protest, he resigned and moved to New York to start a new life. He cut off all communication with his father, fearing that things would end bloody between them if he didn't. He might forgive the man one day, but he sure as hell will never forget. Hence, only two people remained in Archer's life for now; his mother, Evelyn, and a girl he became friends with in the Army, Olivia Brown.

        HE GOT HIMSELF A JOB in the NYPD, becoming a police officer and continuing to serve his country, as much as helping people. But five years had passed, and he still couldn't find his place in the Big Apple. He wanted a change. Again. That was when the news reached him that a position had become available at the Behavioral Analysis Unit in the FBI. And he thought, what the heck, he could give it a try...

Hey, hey, hey! I probably shouldn't be doing this (like really shouldn't), but I just couldn't help myself. The idea was too cute, Jensen is too cute, I love Penelope too much, and creating my first male OC just seemed too good to let it slip. So, here I am, hoping I've read enough Baldacci and Lee Child books to handle Archer's character lmao.

So, everyone, please welcome Archer Grayson, the sweet but grumpy guy, who just won't survive Garcia's comments. For the storyline, I'm starting at season 3 again, and then we will see how long it goes. I'm super excited about this book because having a male OC will make things both so unique and new for me, and hopefully for you as well! People usually write female OCs, so I hope you'll read something out of the ordinary here!
