Piltover, often referred to as the City of Progress, is a gleaming metropolis that embodies innovation and prosperity. Towering spires, bustling marketplaces, and advanced technology define its landscape, attracting scholars, inventors, and the affluent. The citizens of Piltover enjoy a life of luxury, supported by a system that rewards intellect and creativity.

In stark opposition, Zaun is a gritty undercity that thrives in the shadows of Piltover. It is a place where survival is a daily struggle, characterized by dilapidated buildings, polluted air, and rampant crime. The inhabitants of Zaun, often marginalized and overlooked by their affluent neighbors, rely on ingenuity and resilience to navigate their harsh realities.

Marilla had grown to despise the topsiders and Piltover as a whole. Why should they get everything? Everything handed to them on silver platters? Whilst the people in the undercity suffer, by the hands of the rich.

Even as a child, Marilla knew the stark contrast between her home, and the riches of Piltover. But, that did not stop her from being the carefree child she was.

Despite the violence and the brutality of the Underground, Marilla had grew up with a close-nit group around her age because her mother worked for the leader of the Underground: Vander.

Vander was deeply respected by the people of Zaun for his efforts to maintain peace among the various factions and gangs that vie for power in the undercity.

Also, he ran the bar: 'The Last Drop', where Marilla spent most of her time when she wasn't causing mayhem in the Lanes with her friends.

Little did the young girl know, the undercity would soon crash down when the main source would die at the hands of his 'so called brother.'
