I have been living with Talia, JJ, and Simon for about a month now and its getting to the point where I need to buck my ideas up and start apartment searching as this was only meant to be a temporary stay.

Talia has been telling me to stay longer, but I understand that her and Simon are moving forward in their relationship and would probably want their own place soon, and that JJ's career in boxing and rapping is really getting somewhere so he would also want his own place.

I'm in a bit of a pickle because before i went travelling, I had my own youtube channel which was focused around books. Basically I did reading vlogs, monthly reading wrap ups, book recs exct. However, when i went travelling i stopped because i didn't have enough time to post/edit and I didn't feel the need to when I had saved up enough money to get me through that year and a bit longer. At this point, I have used up nearly all of my savings which makes me unable to afford a decent apartment. That is why i am stalling on searching for one.

Recently, i have been vaguely contemplating continuing my YouTube career, stuck on the fact that it takes a lot of time and effort. However, it does pay well.

I'm on my way to Cal's apartment, listening to 'National Anthem' by Lana Del Rey in my AirPods, when i feel a tap on my shoulder and hear some excited squeals. I take my AirPods out, finding a pair of girls with big smiles on their faces and their phones in their hands.

"Hi! Can I help you with anything?" I say, confused at what is going on.

"Hi!!! I'm Gemma, and this is Izzy. We are really big fans!!" She squeals.

"Of me?" I question, smiling through my confusion.

"Yes!" Izzy continues. "We used to stay up late watching your reading vlogs together. Sometimes we even joined in."

"Omg! It makes me so happy to hear that!" I say, placing my hand over my mouth in shock.

"Can we get a picture?" Gemma questions.

"Of course!!" I return, so happy that these girls made the effort to come and talk to me.

Izzy and Gemma both get either side of me as they ask a passer-by to take a photo of us. We all smile as the stranger says "cheese" behind the camera, which makes us all giggle as we haven't heard anyone say cheese in a while.

"Thank you so much omg!!" They say in-sync, jumping from excitement.

"No problem." I blush, excited that I've had someone recognise me even after i stopped posting.

"Can I quickly ask you a question?" Izzy adds, just as I'm about to put my AirPods back in and walk away.

"Yeah of course." I say, discreetly looking at my phone to check the time. I still have ten minutes, so I'm good.

"Are you ever gonna start posting again? We understand you went travelling but you are back now and we really miss your vids! And I'm sure many other people do as well." She asks.

"You know what, I've been thinking about it recently and I think I am. Don't get me wrong, I need to get out of my reading slump and improve my collection but you can expect a video in the next few months." I assure her, smiling widely at the look on the girls' faces.

"OMGG!!" They both shout.

"Thank you so much!" Gemma says, stealing a quick hug.

"Have a nice day!" I say, before turning around and continuing my venture to Cal's.

Those girls really have made my day.
