Siraj internally sighed to herself, trying to muster up the decency to fake moan. She honestly didn't even have it in her, and she was tired of laying here pretending to be getting her nut off. This was insane.

"Okay baby, come here." She grabbed his face, pulling him up from in between her legs. To tell the truth, it wasn't even him. Usually he was able to get her off every time. She was aggravated today though, and figured her body must've just followed suit.

"Wassup?" Kyrie had a small frown on his face, not understanding what he had done wrong. It never took this long for him to make her finish.

"I don't know. I'm not in the mood. Thank you though." She chuckled near the end, holding his face as he left a kiss on her lips.

"You saying thank you like you came or somethin'. What, I got an A for effort?" He sucked her bottom lip, and she laughed, pulling her mouth back from his.

"You always get an A baby. Go get me a towel please." She still had a smile on her face as she let his head go, and he chuckled, removing himself from between her legs.

Siraj sat up in the bed once he got up, watching as he made his way to the bathroom. As soon as he was out of sight her smile dropped, and she rolled her eyes. This only irritated her further. She wasn't going to blame him though.

Her phone buzzed on the dresser, and she ignored it while grabbing a damp towel from Kyrie, beginning to clean herself off. She couldn't wait to go home and shower.

"What you doing?" She let go of the towel to grab her phone from Kyrie after he'd picked it up, and his eyebrow rose in a questioning manner.

"When you do shit like that it piss me off. You don't even try to be sneaky, like you don't care or something."

"Be sneaky about what? I don't touch your phone, why you touching mine?" She stood up from the bed, pulling her panties back up her thick thighs.

"You can go through my shit whenever you feel it's necessary. I wasn't even on that shit though, nigga was just tryna check the time and you jumping for yo' shit." He frowned at her, watching as she grabbed her shorts from the floor.

"Just don't want you to get your feelings hurt." She stepped into the black biker shorts, and his frown deepened even further.

That was the truth, too. She knew that he considered her his girlfriend even though she'd made it clear numerous times that she wasn't; and the messages that appeared in her notification bar definitely gave single and ready to mingle. She didn't have time to argue with him about it at this moment.

"What that mean? I know yo' ass get around. That shit don't hurt my feelings." He picked his own phone up, and now it was her turn to frown.

"Kyrie don't piss me off 'cause I'm already mad as it is. You know damn well you the only nigga touching me. I'm not even finna entertain you." She pulled her shirt over her head while simultaneously rolling her eyes.

Siraj was right again. She would never have sexual relations with two people at the same time. She didn't play about her body and seriously considered it to be her temple. Kyrie was about to lose his privileges to it, too, if he kept talking.

"Just 'cause these niggas ain't fucking you don't mean shit. Texting and smiling in they face count as getting around too."

"Bye Kyrie." She basically ignored everything that he said, holding her car keys in her hand as she headed for his room door.

Thankfully, he didn't stop her on her way out, and she was able to make it to her car without any disruptions. She was so glad that she wouldn't have to deal with him after today. He was getting annoying.

When she met him a few months ago, he seemed chill. He didn't ask for much-took her shopping, gave her money, bought her flowers-you know, the usual. Now though, he was clingy as hell and did nothing but complain or question her about shit that wasn't his business.

It wasn't like Siraj was just out here with a different man on her arm every week either. Hell, even if she was it wasn't his business. That's why she didn't let men get too attached to her because they began acting weird and controlling-like Kyrie as of recently.

He questioned her whereabouts and who she was with, how long she'd been gone and what she'd do while she was out. He wanted to know who texted every time her phone dinged-just a whole bunch of unnecessary curiosity and it drove Siraj crazy.

She was a free spirit, and wasn't obligated to answer to anybody besides God himself. The only reason she even kept Kyrie around this long was because he had good dick and she didn't want another body. If that wasn't the case, he would've been gone a long time ago.

At this point though, the dick wasn't even worth the hassle he put her through. She would probably make this their last interaction since this 'situationship' was dragging on longer than it needed to.

When Siraj arrived home, the first thing she did was take a long shower. Then, she dressed in a random oversized shirt and a pair of panties. That was her favorite part about having her own place; she could walk around butt-ass naked if she wanted to.

"Raj!" A voice made her snap from her thoughts, and she groaned in annoyance at her 'me-time' being interrupted.

"Emari get out of my house." She didn't even turn around, continuing to make herself a plate of red rice, beans, and pork sausage.

"How you even know it was me? I could've been the police or something." Her best friend entered the kitchen, immediately walking to stand near her at the scent of food.

"You say that like I haven't heard your voice every day for the last ten years." She rolled her eyes, even though it had really been like fifteen years. More than half of either of their lifetimes.

"Whatever. Move, I'm hungry too." He reached over her shoulder to use her spoon to scoop up some of the food, and her mouth fell open in shock once he ate it.

"Emari!" Siraj turned around to hit him wherever she could, a deep frown on her face.

"Chill, chill!" He laughed, pointing to his daughter that was currently asleep on his shoulder-though it was a bit too late, because soon enough, Eriah began to stir in her sleep.

"Aw my baby. I'm sorry. I didn't see you mama." Siraj grabbed her from Emari's arms, totally forgetting why she was mad once her niece wrapped her arms around her.

"Hi TT." She mumbled, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she became aware of her surroundings.

"Hey girl. You hungry?" Siraj ignored Emari's presence, walking back over to her plate of food so that Eriah could eat with her.

"So you gon' feed her but not me? The fuck I do?" He stood there with his arms folded, watching the two of them walk to Siraj's dining table.

"Too much." Siraj waved him off, putting a forkful of rice in Eriah's mouth, then did the same to herself.

Eriah was Emari's first and only child, and she was now four years old. She wasn't a planned baby-obviously, because Emari would never willingly have a child. He didn't regret a single thing that led up to him having his daughter though; she meant everything to him.

He didn't get to see her as much as he wanted to because he wasn't on the best of terms with Eriah's mother, which made her keep his child from him. Even after being beat up twice by Siraj, and once by his cousin, she still hadn't decided to come to a custody agreement with him.

Whenever he did get his daughter, he made sure to take her to visit everyone because he wanted her to know that she was loved by the whole family. Especially by her TT, Siraj.

"Get out my face begging Mari. Go get some out the fridge." Siraj pushed his head away after his fourth bite from her food, laughing at the satisfaction in his expression. He loved eating.

"Whatever. What you was doin' before I came? Where yo' clothes at?" He did as told, going to go make him his own plate. He even thought about just taking the whole Tupperware container.

"I just got back home and didn't put nothing on when I got out the shower 'cause I wasn't expecting anyone." She added emphasis to the end of her sentence, making him laugh.

Siraj fixed her posture once Eriah turned around on her own, grabbing the spoon to feed herself. Her eyes followed Emari as he sat down again, stuffing his face with the food she'd made for dinner last night.

"Why are y'all acting like y'all haven't ate?"

"I'm just greedy, ion know why she acting like that. Mama just fed her a big ass breakfast this morning." He told her, and she amusingly rolled her eyes.

"You can take the rest home. I probably won't go back to it." Siraj covered her mouth as she yawned, and he nodded since he would've done that anyway.

Her arms wrapped back around Eriah after she laid her head on her chest, and Siraj realized that she was most likely still sleepy.

"How long you staying Mari?" She asked him, then rolled her eyes again once he shrugged.

"I'm finna go take a nap with her. Come on when you done eating." She stood up from the table, not waiting for a response, knowing he'd be hot on her trail in just a few moments.

Siraj climbed in her king sized bed, putting Eriah in the middle of it while positioning herself on the left side. After plugging her phone up on the charger, she put SpongeBob on the TV, and adjusted her mattress to her liking.

Just like she thought, Emari came in her room around three minutes later, rubbing his eye since he'd randomly became sleepy. He made sure he took his clothes off before he got in the bed because Siraj didn't play that.

"Move her to the other side and stop playing, Raj." He frowned at her, and she rolled her eyes for the third time as she switched spots with her niece.

Emari grabbed the ends of her shirt to take it off of her, causing Siraj to amusingly roll her eyes for a fourth time. When it was off, he wrapped his arms around her body while mushing his face into the crook of her neck. He loved skin to skin sleep and didn't do it with anyone besides her.

"I missed you." He mumbled, tightening the grip he had placed upon her.

"Liar. I told you to come spend the night with me this weekend and you didn't. If you missed me foreal, you would've."

"I wasn't even in the city. You wanted me to fly back just to spend a night?" He rose an eyebrow in confusion, watching as she nodded like that was the obvious answer.

"Girl bye." He waved her off, and she laughed, reaching up to wrap her arms around his neck after he'd pulled his face from hers.

"Nah, I missed you too though. You been okay?" She used her thumb to rub over his eyebrow while keeping her gaze locked on his. She made sure to check on him at least once every time she saw him.

Emari was the type of person to keep everything bottled up, and unlike most, he never let it spill over. Not expressing himself only caused him to be angry towards others every once in a while, but besides that, he had heavy control over his emotions.

So, Siraj had to ask for herself if he was alright since he'd never willingly admit if he wasn't. She'd hate it if he ever felt like he was going through something on his own because she would forever and always be there for him.

"Yeah."

"What? I'm foreal." He spoke again when she looked at him as if he was lying.

"That didn't sound very convincing."

"Shit, ion' know why. I ain't got shit to complain about. My brother get out soon, I just got paid royalties from my album, I got my baby for the week, and you here with me. Nothing to complain about." He shrugged his shoulders, and she smiled at the last part.

Many would think that Siraj and Emari were in a relationship, or if they weren't, they were definitely sneaking around. That wasn't the case though. They tried to date like a year ago and ended up breaking up within an hour.

Though Siraj wouldn't refer to their very close friendship as the typical "sister, brother" dynamic either, due to the fact that sometimes it did give off "couple".

Emari frequently spent nights at her house cuddled up with her just like they were now, he took her shopping and paid for her hair to get done at least a few times a month, and he kissed on her face probably more than he should've. That's all it ever was though, cheek and forehead kisses that held no romantic value.

The two of them were just much better off as friends, and they understood that. Neither of them went too far over boundaries that had been set in place, especially since Emari did have his fun every once in a while with a girl or two, and Siraj did as well, more often than not.

"That's good then. I'm proud of you. I like seeing you happy." She told him, chuckling as he pulled her as close as she could get to his body.

"I know you do. I love you." He kissed her cheek, and she smiled, feeling him nuzzle his face in the crook of her neck again.

"I love you more." Siraj grazed her fingernails through his scalp, knowing that it was the quickest way to put him to sleep.

Just like she figured, Emari's light snores could be heard just a few minutes later. On the other side of her, Eriah was also asleep and sprawled out on her side of the mattress as if she was paying bills.

Siraj laid there, trying to fall asleep as well, but that sudden wave of being drowsy had disappeared. She decided to occupy herself with SpongeBob, hoping that it would cause her to become sleepy again.

A little over half an hour passed, and just as she was about to doze off, her phone buzzed repeatedly on the dresser. She knew it was a call since the buzzing was constant, but couldn't hear the default iPhone ringtone since her phone was on silent.

When she read over the contact, she carefully climbed out of bed as to not wake Eriah and Emari up, and quietly left out of her room.

"You have a collect call from-Exodus Brewster-at Bayview Correctional Facility. To accept this ca-,"

Siraj didn't let the automated voice message system speak for much longer, instead pressing one to go ahead and connect the call.

"Baby?"

"Boy don't call me that. If you ain't got nothing behind them bars, you shole' got some nerve." She rolled her eyes, her phone to her ear as she pulled her robe on.

"Raj that girl is fuckin' delusional. Don't start wit' me when you already know that shit. That's why you been ignoring my calls?"

"I wouldn't consider it ignoring since I was never obligated to answer in the first place."

"Yo' mouth smart as hell. This ah' attitude or what mama?" Exodus's naturally raspy voice spoke into the phone, and Siraj's frown slowly disappeared.

"Yes because why were you such a hoe before you got locked up?" She stepped out onto her patio, listening to him chuckle from over the phone.

"We wasn't even together before I got locked up."

"We ain't together now so what's your point?" She remarked, and he satirically whistled, earning a laugh from her.

Exodus was Emari's older-way older-brother, who'd been locked up since late December of last year, and it was currently the month of May. He'd been booked on the charges of carrying an illegal substance with the intent to distribute, and was sentenced to six months in the federal correctional facility.

Siraj had always had a small crush on him, even when she was a teenager. The man had been fine ever since she could remember! It was just a fantasy crush up until last year, but then Siraj got drunk on Christmas Eve and told him what she thought of him.

The drunk Siraj was a totally different person than the sober one. She was literally ready to snatch Exodus's soul that night in the bathroom, and it took all the mental strength that Exodus had to keep his hands to himself. She was so tempting, it drove him crazy.

When the next day had come around, Siraj didn't remember any events from the previous night, but Exodus made sure to remind her by showing the hickey she'd previously left on his neck. The same hickey that everyone at the party questioned him about since it wasn't there at the beginning of the party, and damn near everyone who attended was family.

Exodus was drunk on Christmas Eve as well, so he wasn't able to tell her that the two of them could never be or do anything for the simple fact that she was basically a kid to him-and was considered to be his niece, at that. The only thing he was worried about that night was keeping his dick down because he knew it was wrong.

Since she'd already admitted it though, Siraj wasn't backing down. It made it even worse that she wasn't afraid of rejection, and always got what she wanted in the end. Which is how they ended up in their current circumstances, where Siraj had him wrapped around her finger, even while in jail.

Due to them being eleven years apart-Exodus being 32, while Siraj was 21-nobody besides the two of them knew what was going on between them. Siraj had a love hate relationship with that. She didn't mind their situation-ship being private, but that made room for Exodus's past flings to think they still had a chance.

Many of them were posting him on social media, supposedly calling themselves 'holding him down' while he was incarcerated. The fact that he was so well known in the Tri-State area was so aggravating to Siraj.

Another part of her didn't care though, and she definitely wasn't 'holding' anybody down for anything; especially since she didn't think they would've been talking this long. Yet, here they were.

"Siraj quit talking to me like that. I'm not gon' tell you that again." Exodus told her after the umpteenth slick remark from her within the last twenty minutes.

"When you say stuff like that I just be thinking, who is that supposed to scare? You're literally in jail. I could diss yo' dead homies right now and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it." She retorted, a smile gracing her face once he laughed.

"You be buggin' the fuck out bro. Like why you be saying shit like that?" He shook his head at her, still laughing. She was the only one who could get away with talking to him like that, too.

"Nah you be buggin'. Thinking you scaring somebody."

"I don't be tryna scare you. Lately you been talking like ion' get out next week though. I just want you to have this same energy when it's just me and you." He chuckled, and her small smile only spread further. She couldn't wait to see him.

"Whatever. You still ain't scaring nobody."

"Mhm. I miss you mama." He hummed in response to her waving him off, briefly licking over his lips.

"I bet you do." She said, but couldn't deny how that made her feel-and her panties were proof of that.

"See, this what I be talking 'bout. Quit playing with me." He smacked his lips, causing her to release a laugh.

"I'm just fuckin' with you. I miss you too. You knew that though." She chuckled while he did the same, knowing that it was true. As slick as her mouth was, and with as much attitude that she gave him, he knew she had a soft spot reserved just for him.

Let's see if I actually post this 😂
