After three years in Lannisport, married to Roberd Lannister, Julienna Hightower is ready to return to her father's side.  Hoping that she might be able to raise her son as she pleases and no longer be used as a pawn in her father's game, Julienna finds herself back in play on the chess board.

With no way to secure a Hightower position on the throne through Viserys, Otto schemes to see that Julienna marries the king's heir - by any means necessary, even if that means hatching a murder plot against the Rogue Prince's current bride. 

Neither Daemon Targaryen nor Julienna Hightower wishes to wed the other, but the scales are vastly tipped against them. It seems like Julienna might go from being one devil's pawn to another's.
