I can not imagine why Rhaenyra has not let me fly into battle yet! I did not wish to sit on this island until everyone else got to fly about the realm just to even deliver messages! I haven't done anything and I'm bored...

BAELA:
She is probably looking out for us, Selaehna, me, and Rhaena haven't done anything yet either... our time will come soon.

RHAENA:
I must agree, the queen must have something planned for us too.

SELAEHNA:
I can't wait any longer. If I must take matters in my own hands, then I will. The Greens owe us blood, Luke's blood. If my stepmother can't see that, then I will burn them all in my own accord.

The only thing that could tear down the house of the dragon was itself, went the saying in the family. It wasn't a false information, but it never really helped change the outcome when everyone brought up the quote if something happened. It only worsened by time, and soon enough, it happened. The fall of house targaryen was a tragedy to all sides, but it was all caused by a few people who moved all the pieces to their liking. Most of them were driven by revenge after things that happened in the past.

In the deepness of King's Landing on one fateful day, a girl was born with targaryen features. She was a bastard. Her father had the habit of visiting the street of silk in the dead of night, and it quickly went wrong. One of the women fell pregnant, and so his daughter was born in 111 AC. Her mother named her Selaehna and raised her in the streets of King's Landing until she was about five years old. The young girl was soon discovered, and word of her got to the court in the Red Keep where the men decided what was the best to do about her existence since she was considered a bastard. They made Daemon take her under his wing since he wed Laena Velaryon. At least his daughter would have a mother figure. Selaehna was still considered a targaryen since the court came to the conclusion that she had the typical features they wouldn't really need to hide her away since she could be a menace to the house if they would've left her on the streets.

That is how Selaehna Targaryen became who she was. She was raised alongside her two step sisters, Baela and Rhaena, who were quite younger than her, but until then, Daemon taught her how to fight. She was becoming one of the best swordsmen, or rather swordswomen, in westeros and almost rivalled her father in fighting by the time she was fourteen. By the time she was seven, she earned her own dragon, who she named Vyndross, and the creature became her best friend really quickly. As Selaehna grew older it became very clear that she got her fathers personality and looks, Viserys couldn't imagine what she would be like when she got older, he feared that she would turn out like Daemon but how wrong he was.

She would be much worse.

During the time when house targaryen was starting to break in two, an old valyrian house stepped up as well. That family was house Norcreoss. They lived towards the north of westeros but still closer to King's Landing than house Stark. They were one of the families who supported Aegon's right to the iron throne, but it was only the men who thought like that. Their only daughter, Adryana, and her mother found it wrong since they pledged their loyalty to Rhaenyra Targaryen way before their child was born. However, since they were women, their thoughts were ignored.

Adryana, who was seventeen at the time, was ordered by her father to travel to King's Landing and take his message to the court and stay as long as she needed to. She didn't want to disappoint him so she did as told and started making her way towards the large city. She was travelling with two guards and one of her close friends with horses and a small carrige with their belongings. Adryana didn't really know why her father sent her, a woman, to deliver a message to a court full of men since they would obviously give her funny looks even if it was her fathers words not hers. She worried that she would accidentally agree to something she wouldn't want to do or get tangled up in a mess that would cost her familys name.

And that she did after meeting a girl with targaryen features.
