-Chapter 96-
Hurting anybody wasn't on my agenda for today. But seeing them so happy without any consequences of their past actions infuriated me. I couldn't be with my real parents because of Jonathan's selfishness. It wasn't helping that he wasn't being honest with me either.
Clearly, me asking him wasn't enough, so I had to up the ante and start hurting people. My big sister, who I used to love unconditionally and look up to, looked up at me with tear filled eyes. My heart pained a bit at the sight but I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel a little bit good...
Regardless, I needed answers. Today.
Since Jonathan wasn't answering them when I was hurting him, maybe this would be more effective.
I ignored the prying eyes sitting at the table just watching this whole fiasco. This was the first time they had seen me like this and I knew it wasn't a pretty sight. Out of everyone at the table, the one person's stare who was devoid of pity and fear was Lucifer. He looked at the scene as if it was fascinating him.
I turned my focus back to my parents and sighed. "Answer the question, Jonathan."
He remained even more unmoving than he previously was and my sister looked at him with a frightened expression. "Dad, answer it!"
"I can't." He said more sternly.
She sobbed quietly and I shook my head. This would have to be a question I'd have to ask Lilith. If it were up to me I'd kill Jonathan right now, but she needed him for some reason.
"Drop the knife," I said as I stood up from my chair. "You're free to go."
I swiftly walked out of the room before I did something I'd truly regret. I needed to calm down and the first step to doing that was to get the hell away from them.
"Queen!"
I turned to see Xavier making long strides to come to my side and I slowed down. "Hey." I smiled nervously.
He grinned down at me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "I'm fucking hungry."
I looked at him dumbfounded and shook my head. "You don't want to talk about anything that just happened?"
"Nah." He said. "I just want-"
"Milkshakes and cheese fries, I know," I said in a sarcastic tone.
He squeezed my shoulders tighter causing me to involuntary groan as he laughed. "Let's go change first."
"Agreed," I muttered.
We continued the long walk to our rooms and I noticed Xavier glance at me multiple times. Whenever I'd look at him he looked away and we began this awkward dance until I completely stopped walking.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Just wondering," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Wondering what?"
"If Syn could come?" He asked cautiously.
Why is he asking me? Regardless of what happened today, Syn was still my boyfriend, and more importantly, he was Xavier's best friend. He didn't need to ask my permission.
"Why are you asking me?"
"Because I don't know what-...what you guys are...after that?" His voice squeaked at his uncertainty and I frowned.
"We're still together, I think? It's just a lot more complicated now. But until further notice, we are still in a relationship," I assured him.
His shoulders slumped in relief and he nodded. "Let's go get him then. I asked him if he wanted to go and he didn't answer, but he can't say no to our face." He grabbed my hand and pulled me as I almost stumbled but caught myself and groaned as he made me run.
When he got to Syn's room, Xavier had a grin on his face while I was leaning against the wall and catching my breath. I seriously need to exercise more...but not anytime soon. I crossed my arms and watched as he knocked on the door enthusiastically. When Syn didn't answer, he began knocking more profusely again and we both chuckled at Syn's angry tone.
"Stop fucking knocking!" He yelled as he came to the door and opened it.
"Wow, I guess you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, huh?" Xavier said humorously as he walked past Syn and into the room.
Syn rolled his eyes and turned back to me when I remained across the entrance of the room. "Are you coming in?" With a slight nod, I walked past him and I felt his hand graze my back, shooting an electric current throughout my body. I smiled softly as I walked in and sat down at the table.
"Syn, can I have this?" Xavier yelled from the closet door as he held up a random grey shirt. I hadn't even noticed that Xavier went into our closet, nor did I mind. Syn on the other hand seemed irritated, as always. "I'm going to take your silence as a yes," he shouted as he disappeared back into the closet.
With a sigh, Syn ran his hand through his hair and moved a chair directly in front of my position on the table. I dangled my feet shyly as he sat down and eyed me. His gaze was intrusive and powerful, making me want to squirm in my spot, but I knew he would notice any slight movement of mine.
"Stop looking at me," I whispered as I looked away from him.
"Why?" He leaned forward in his seat and laid a hand on my thigh.
I looked at him in mild uncertainty and bit my lip. "Are we going to break up?" I was ruining the moment, but I needed to rip off the band-aid. I didn't want him touching me like this if we weren't going to be together in the morning.
"You're pissing me off, Queen," he huffed as he sat back in his seat and removed his hand from me.
"How? I'm asking a question that's kind of important after what just happened."
"We talked about this already," he said, the annoyance evident in his irritated tone.
I didn't even understand why he was getting so upset. I was feeling strange after Lilith's reveal, I assumed he was as well. "I know we did but we just found out our feelings for each other were planned before we met. I mean before we were born!" I exclaimed.
"I know," he whispered absentmindedly.
"So?" I raised my brow in question. "What do we do now?"
"We do nothing." He shrugged.
"Nothing?"
"Yup, I don't give a fuck how we ended up here. I don't believe some out-of-this-world magic is keeping us together, Queen. We've already broken up before so clearly, it doesn't control everything." I shook my head and let out a huff of laughter. "I meant it when I told you that I more than love you, Queen. Not even God himself could make me leave you," he said softly as his forest green eyes locked onto mine. "If you cry I'm taking it all back." I blinked away the tears threatening to spill and faced the ceiling.
"Aww, I hate you guys."
Our heads snapped to the closet entrance where Xavier was carrying a stack of clothes and wiping imaginary tears. "I heard the word love. Why wasn't I notified?"
"There's nothing to notify," Syn muttered into his hands.
"Love is a big thing."
"It's not love," Syn objected.
"My bad, 'more than love'," he teased. "That's a mouthful, while we eat we can choose a shorter name for it."
"I'm not going anymore," Syn groaned and I laughed as I gently played with his hair.
"You're coming," I demanded with a fake grimace. He peeked up at me and rolled his eyes before returning his head into his hands.
"Anyways, I'll be back in like 10 minutes," Xavier yelled as he rushed out the door.
"I think he just stole a bunch of your clothes," I pointed out with a giggle.
Syn glanced at the door and shook his head. "I've stolen his too, I suppose it's only fair." He stood up with a sigh and began unbuttoning his shirt.
I kept my eyes on his sculpted hands as they traveled down the top button of his shirt to the bottom. He gracefully removed his shirt and neatly folded it as he moved to his pants.
"Ahem," he cleared his throat and snapped me out of my thoughts. "If you want me to fuck you just say that," he mocked.
"Shut up," I laughed and hopped off the table, and headed to the closet to get dressed. Syn wrapped his arms around me and lifted me from the floor before I could take any more steps away from him.
"Put me down!" I squealed.
"Gladly," he tossed me onto the bed and I giggled as my back made contact with the soft mattress.
His hand moved to my leg and he raised it to his lips. "Syn..."
"I meant to ask, Princess. Why are you barefoot? Where are your shoes?"
"I gave them to someone," I shrugged.
"Weirdo," he muttered.
I laughed softly and tried to pull my legs away from him but he had a firm grip on them. "Syn, we don't have time for this."
"We have ten minutes," he muttered as he kissed my ankle. He sent a trail of kisses up my leg until he was planted between them.
Remembering my words, I ignored the shivers that shot through my body and cleared my throat. "No, we have 10 minutes to get dressed."
"You can get dressed in 5 minutes. Can't you, Princess?" He raised a brow at me as he hooked his fingers at the sides of my panties and pulled them down. "In a way, I'm helping you get ready."
"How so?" I giggled.
"I'm undressing you. Now, unzip your dress before I rip it." He threatened.
I didn't doubt that he would. He seemed to like ripping what I was wearing most likely due to the panic and surprise that popped up onto my face.
With a groan, I positioned myself on all fours and turned my head in his direction. "Can you do it?" I watched as his eyes traveled from my eyes to my lower back and finally at my ass.
My innocent request had now turned into a sexual innuendo as his intentions evidently became anything but pure.
His hands slowly moved to the zipper on my upper back and with every inch that was unfastened, the more aroused I became. The soreness between my legs reminded me of what was in store if I let this continue but I couldn't stop it.
The straps of my dress began to slip down my shoulders and I sat on my heels to take it off. I was now in nothing but my bra and I could feel Syn's eyes boring into my back as I held in my smile.
I unclasped my bra and threw it to the side and turned my head in Syn's direction. He was standing with his arms crossed and looking down at me. His height always caught me off guard even though I was used to it.
"Are you trying to seduce me, Princess?" He asked. My eyes dropped down to the bulge in his pants and I cleared my throat.
"If it's not working then no, because that's embarrassing." I ranted as he leaned forward onto the bed and kissed my shoulder.
He gently pushed me down onto the bed and I bit my lip as my face came into contact with the mattress. "You have an incredible ass, Queen."
I groaned into the mattress at the sound of his husky voice to keep myself from saying something stupid. My back was to his front and I waited in anticipation for him to enter me but he was acting like we had all the time in the world.
His hands glided over my buttocks and then lower as he slipped two fingers into me. "You're so fucking wet. We have 6 minutes, hold tight. This will be quick, Princess."
At his words, I gripped the sheets as he grabbed my hips and positioned himself. I prepared myself for his thrust but to my surprise, his hand wrapped around my hair to my neck and he held my head up. "No screaming into the pillow, Queen."
Slowly, he eased himself into me and pulled my hair ever so slightly as a breathy moan escaped me. Using his other hand he held a firm grip on my hip and pulled out just to slam back into me. I groaned loudly as the pleasure from his fullness and the tugging of my hair created a tantalizing mixture that made my body weak.
"Hold on," he whispered in a low voice as he began pumping in and out of me mercilessly. I dug my nails into the bed sheets to steady myself but to also try to maintain a semblance of control. His fingers began digging into me as his strokes became rougher and his breathing more erratic. My eyes fluttered shut as the gathering sensation began growing inside of me. "I want to hear you, Princess. Say my name."
"Syn..." I moaned.
At that, his thrusts became more constant and powerful and my body began to ache. I didn't know how much more of this I could take. My legs began to tremble under him and my breathing became unsteady.
"Fuck." I screamed silently. His movements began to slow inside of me and I bit my lip so hard that I almost drew blood. Shit.
"Give it to me, Queen," he groaned. I whimper that the sound of my name on his lips and my body shook as he sends me over the edge. All the sensations in my body spiraled into an overwhelming release.
I felt my body go weak and almost collapse into the bed before Syn picked me up. I groaned as he hung me over his shoulder, I was so close to passing out.
"No time for rest, Princess. You insisted on going with Xavier."
With a pout, I lifted my hand and hit him in defiance. I didn't even notice I hit his ass until I blinked hard, everything looked so different from the position he was carrying me in and my dazed state wasn't helping at all.
He halted his steps at my slap. "Did you just hit my butt, Queen?"
"No," I answered shyly. I was sure being upside down this long was messing with my brain. It wasn't my fault that I hit him there, it was his for carrying me this way.
"So I imagined it?" He asked.
"Must have."
He remained quiet and I relaxed that he had dropped it until his hand connected with my buttocks in a hard slap. "Ow!" I screamed out.
He rubbed the spot he hit and started walking again. "What's wrong, Princess? Did you just imagine someone hitting your ass?"
Syn turned on the shower and finally set me down on my feet. My hand went directly to the spot he hit me and I frowned at him. "I didn't hit you that hard."
"No," he began. "But now you've learned your lesson."
I smirked at him and bit my lip. "No, I don't think I have."
