-Chapter 57-
I looked up at the star-filled night sky and bit the inside of my cheek. "Well, I want a big house. Not one big enough that I'll get lost in, but one that I could have huge family gatherings in. I'm not sure which family I'd have that with though," I laughed, "but just imagine it was a family other than my own. I'd want enough space that if people needed some place to crash, I could easily open my doors-"
"You shouldn't open the doors for everyone," he said.
"Are you really about to be overprotective in my imagination too?"
"If I need to."
I shook my head, a permanent smile playing on my lips. "I want a couple of dogs because I'm scared to live in big houses alone...oh also, this is where you come into the picture," I reminded myself. "This is my space, but it could be yours too. The land goes on for-well...forever almost. Since your wolf likes to roam...he could roam here...maybe? I mean I've been here thousands of times and seen many full moons without wolf packs in the territory so-"
"You're rambling."
"Sorry," I grimaced. ", but I do mean it. There's enough space for the three of us...if you wanted."
"Three of us?"
"Well me, your wolf...and you..." I fiddled with my thumbs nervously, not bringing my full attention to his eyes. The moment felt intimate enough already. "...like you could have your own space. You don't have to do the house one...with me."
"Hmm." He blew out a breath. "I'm not sure he would appreciate running around in a bunch of flowers...and he doesn't like dogs."
"Oh."
"But he does seem to like you...a lot. So I'm sure he'd be excited...about this."
I smiled and looked up at him to see an unreadable gaze in his eyes. "Yay, if you wanted, I could keep an eye on him during full moons. That way he won't get you guys into too much trouble."
"Well I'm not sure if you'll get to see him again, Queen."
"Why?"
"I don't see myself getting angry enough to change any time soon."
"Do you want me to get you super mad that day?" I joked.
"Don't," he warned.
I raised my hands defensively and nodded. "Yes, sir."
"Continue your vision."
"That's all there is."
"Just a house big enough to hold gatherings and have dogs?"
"I'm a simple girl." I sighed.
"Hmm, I'm surprised you didn't mention kids or anything. With as many of those movies you watch I'd think you would buy into that dream."
"Maybe one day." I smiled. "Not anytime soon though, I'm not ready for them."
He nodded slowly. "I'm a little upset."
"Why?"
"I wasn't mentioned at all in these dreams of yours. Do you not see me there?"
"Do you want to be there?"
"That's not what I asked."
"I don't know," I admitted. "Imagine me growing old and you staying...you. That doesn't really sound like a dream." A thought filled look appeared on his face before he slowly nodded and I let the dull ache in my chest fade away. "Do you want a tour?" I pointed up at the treehouse.
"In that?"
"Syn..."
"Is it safe?"
"It's safe." I watched him swallow a breath as he looked up at it, and a thought passed my mind. "Is it too high for you?"
"What?" He looked back down at me.
"I know you're scared of heights-"
"Watch your damn mouth, Queen." I burst out into laughter and he sucked his teeth in irritation before grabbing my hand and pulling me off the swing. "Let's go in," he muttered lowly.
I excitedly walked towards the ladder and gestured for Syn to go first, but he crossed his arms in stubborn defiance. "Go up first, Syn. I'm not wearing underwear."
"Why aren't you wearing-"
"It was visible through the dress so I just didn't wear it," I mumbled innocently.
"That's just another reason for you to go first, Princess." A thundering in the sky made us both look up and Syn sighed. "It's going to rain any minute. If you want your dress and hair to look okay for dinner, you may want to start heading up."
I groaned, carefully moving to climb up the later as it began drizzling. I was sure Syn's eyes were on me, but I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be, I was excited. I entered through the square opening in the floor and looked around to make sure the windows were shut. I cleared the clutter in the small room before Syn could make it inside; moving my books to the small table in the corner and arranging my makeshift bed on the floor from the last time I stayed here.
Syn pulled himself through the hatch before the rain became too severe and I closed it behind him. He hit his head on the roof as he tried to stand and I giggled. I didn't know how high he expected a treehouse to be, but it was hilarious.
A breeze entering the room along with the sharp slap of the wet cool air exposed an open window nearby I shut it before locking the hatch and blinding us in darkness as it took the last bit of light from the room. "Shit," I whispered. "I think I have candles somewhere..."
"My phone is in the left pocket," he said. "Use the flashlight."
I did as he said and used his flashlight to look for the candles and lighter. I lit a few of them before placing them down carefully and looking over my shoulder at Syn who had busied himself with a book from my shelf. He was sitting on the blanket with his back against the wall, and I made my way toward him. "What are you doing?"
"You drew these?" He asked.
I squinted, trying to see what exactly he was looking at and when I saw it, I immediately plucked it from his hands. "Stop, I used to think I was an artist. Leave me alone."
"An artist?"
"Yes, I had a phase."
"I'm glad that you...moved on from that."
"I hate you." I laughed. His phone began ringing from the floor a few feet away from us and I crawled toward it to pick it up. When I held it out for Syn, his eyes were dark and glazed over in desire, making me hold back a smile. "Your mom is calling."
Syn took the phone from my hand, his eyes remaining on the phone as he spoke to her. I busied myself with putting my heels in the far corner, not wanting to seem like I was prying into his conversation. After a few moments, he cleared his throat. "Well, it looks like your dinner has been postponed."
"What happened?"
"Apparently my mother planned for a patio dinner without checking the weather. All the appetizers and decorations were outside and the rain soaked them."
"Oh, I see. So another day?"
"Nope, she's determined to have it later tonight," he said. "It's seven right now and she wants us there by eleven."
"That's so late."
"If you would like to argue that with her, be my guest. But you will be arguing while she's completely starting over. There is no reasoning with her."
I laughed softly knowing that he was completely right. "Okay then."
"We can just wait out the rain in here."
"Alright." I clasped my hands together, nervously looking around and not knowing what we'd do for entertainment. My eyes found Syn's in the dimly lit room to see him taking his shirt off and I gaped at him.
"My shirt is wet," he said in a smooth voice, letting his dress shirt fall down his broad shoulders.
"Umm, I'll hang it over here for you. Hopefully it'll dry by the time we leave." I raised myself back to my feet and walked over to him, taking it from his hand. I could feel his eyes on my body as I crossed the small area to the opposite wall and I swallowed a lump in my throat as I hung it up. When I turned back to him, his eyes were on my body just as I had felt them and a mixture of warmth and wetness met between my legs. "I'm wet."
"I know."
"I meant my dress, Syn," I winced. "My dress is wet."
"Then take it off," he said, not hiding the suggestive clip in his tone. I turned around slowly, facing my back to him, and lowered my zipper. I removed my arms from the straps and slowly let them fall off of my body. I hung it up beside his shirt and turned around to see him directly behind me and I jumped. "I've been wanting to see you like this all day. Every single dress you wore this evening pissed me off because of how badly I wanted to rip it off."
My breathing quickened as my chest rose and fell, and our eyes connected. "I want to show you just how badly I want you," he spoke," but you're the birthday girl. Tell me what you want." His lips grazed mine, making my body shiver as I wrapped my arms around him.
"I want you," I whispered. "All of you, right now, before I lose my mind. I don't want you to hold back." At my words, something seemed to snap in him and he fisted a bunch of my hair and attacked my lips. The delicate way he usually kissed me was gone and what was in its place was something more primal...I felt the tip of his fang pierce my lip before he soothed the pain away with his tongue and I groaned.
He pulled me against him, leading me towards the blanket on the floor, and lowering me down. My head hit the soft comforter as Syn removed his lips from mine and lifted himself off of me. His hands moved to the buckle of his belt and I parted my legs, more than ready for what was about to happen.
My eyes flicked back up to his and my breath caught as I took note of the change in color of his eyes. Instead of the bright green they normally were, glowing red orbs were staring down at me. "Syn, y-your eyes..."
"You said you wanted all of me," he lowered his pants, "so I'm giving it to you."
He tossed his pants to the side, proceeding to take off his briefs as my need for him grew. It was getting harder and harder to contain the more he looked at me. My eyes landed on his thick erection and I bit my lip. Months ago, a moment like this would've brought me nothing but anxiety, but those days were gone. Instead, I felt like if I didn't have him, I'd implode.
His strong hands pushed my legs apart, firmly placing himself between me and I sucked in a breath at the feel of his dick against my slit. It was almost teasing in a way. His lips moved against my lips before kissing a trail to my neck and sucking the spots he knew drove me wild. My back arched in response and his palm trailed down my stomach before making its way between my legs and rubbing my core.
"Trust me?" He whispered. I nodded quickly and he lifted his head, looking deep into my eyes. "I need you to say it."
"I trust you," I breathed out, gazing back into his red eyes. My eyes dropped to his extended fangs and my heart raced, but I knew he wouldn't hurt me. Even if he did...maybe I wouldn't mind it.
He tucked my hair behind my ear, his fingers gliding down my neck and I trembled at his touch. His free hand interlocked with my hand as it always did, and I smiled softly as he raised it above my head. My hand was pressed into the floor as he guided his tip to my entrance and I took a deep breath.
Within the same fatal second, he pounded into me, and his fangs sunk into the skin of my neck. I screamed out at the pain, but as he gently sucked and licked at the wound, a heat traveled through my body. My core clenched as my blood rushed throughout my body and I moaned. I didn't think I could I could feel any more pleasure than I did at that moment, but as Syn began thrusting in and out of me, my heart beat out of my chest.
My toes curled as the familiar knot at the pit of my stomach began pulsating and my breathing became erratic. "Syn, I'm-...fuck..." My nails dug into his shoulders as the knot traveled to between my legs and I released around his length. His relentless pounding failed to cease as I climaxed, but my body was still hungry for him. I was sure even if we were here all night I wouldn't get enough.
His lips found their way back to mine and I tasted the metallic taste of my blood on his tongue and lips. It was mixed with his usual sweet whiskey taste and I greedily welcomed every movement of our tongues.
Every kiss, stroke, scratch, and a low growl from him made my head spin and before I knew it, I came all over again. "So you're just not waiting for me now, Princess?"
My body was too weak to give him a response that he could understand and I let out a shaky breath. "Hmm," he mummed, his lips trailing back to my neck. "I want to come with you so it looks like I'm going to have to fuck another one out of you."
If he kept talking to me like that, it wouldn't take long. The tingles floating around in my body found their way to my stomach and a large mass of what felt like butterflies began to gather at my core. "Syn," I screamed out, moaning as he quickened his pace, filling and stretching me with every animalistic thrust.
Thunder mixed with the sound of the hard rain hitting the roof surrounded us, adding to the intensity in the room and my eyes watered. Not only at the feel of the mounting orgasm bound to happen, but also at the fact that the man I loved was doing it to me-no one had ever made me feel the way he did.
"Come, Princess," he said lowly. My body jerked as I burst at the seams and came at his command. His release wasn't long after mine and my body rode on waves of ecstasy following the mind blowing sex he had given me.
I relaxed into the blanket, my body slightly shaking as the aftermaths of our lovemaking hit my body and Syn buried his head into my shoulder. I closed my eyes, slowly letting the warmth in my body fade away with deep breaths.
"There wouldn't happen to be a bathroom in here, would there?" He asked.
I opened my eyes and frowned. "No...there isn't."
"No worries." He snapped his fingers and we were in his bed, our naked bodies still intertwined.
"We could've been back here this entire time?" I questioned in shock.
"Sure, but I've never had sex in a treehouse," he replied. I laughed and shook my head at his reveal and laid back, feeling nothing but contentment. "Do you want me to build that house for you?"
"What?"
"The house you want in that field." He lifted his head to look down at me. "Do you want me to build it?"
"You can build a house?"
"It can't be that hard." He shrugged. "Just putting wood and shit together, right? If you want it, I want to be the one to give it to you."
My heart fluttered at his intense gaze and felt my cheeks heat. His words would imply that he had intentions of being with me for longer than some fling, and the thought of that scared me as much as I loved it.
"We'll see."
