"Beloved," I wake up terrified I look at my surroundings to see Damian looking worried at my side and felt tears in my eyes, and a few rolling down my cheek.

"Beloved are you alright?" Damian asked worryingly.

"What happened?" my heartbeat returned to normal along with my breathing.

"I heard a scream coming from your room, so I ran to check on you. I saw you in so much pain," Damian said.

"I just had a nightmare that's all," I said

"Beloved, who's Adora?" he asked and sat next to me putting his legs under covers. I rested my head on his chest and his arms were wrapped around me.

"Adora?" I looked up at him.

"Yeah, you said something about Adora," he said

"Dami, I'm Adora," I say

"So, your name is Adora?" he says

"Yeah, my name is Adora," I look down.

He just kisses my head. "That's a beautiful name for a beautiful woman," He looks at me.

"Do you always have to flatter girls?" I ask

"Not just you," he smiles and kisses me on the cheek.

"I like that name, Adora," he says

"It also fits my name. It means Beloved," I say

"Really, well this is just fate that we're meant to be," He smiles. "Hm, Adora Wayne. Has a ring to it don't you think?" He smirks

"That's a long time Damian," I say.

"So, does this mean I win the bet?" he says

"No, I told you, detective. Besides, let's see Jamie and Gar figure it out," I say

"Your wish is my command," He kisses me on lips "Gosh how I love you," he tilts his head.

"So, anything on today?" I ask

"Oh, Starfire is making us do training later downstairs. We should go," He says

"Okay let's go," I get up.

In my suit, I sat next to Damian and Raven.

"To be ready for anything, you must train for everything. That was the most important lesson instilled in me by the warlords of Okara," Starfire says

"Them again?" Beast boy complains to Blue

"And so it will be instilled in you," she says. "Let's pair off, those not fighting watch and learn. Nightwing?" she asks and Nightwing gets out his batons.

"Shall we dance good sir?" she gets her staff ready

"But of course m'lady," he bows

Starfire flies towards Nightwing but he rolls to the side and begins to kick and swing his batons but she blocks it with her staff. Nightwing then back handsprings and kicks he but she dodges his attacks.

"They're slow," I mumble observing their moves.

Star then swoops his feet and he falls to the ground.

"Guess we know who's taking out the garbage in the new place," Raven says to us and I laugh

"That was not a confidence booster," Nightwing says getting up.

"You did better, you lasted far longer this time," she says and I just laugh

"I meant in training, of course, he's very proficient when we have s-" but Kori is interrupted

"Kori!" Nightwing says

I just laughed, my stomach hurted a lot of cause of it.

"Blue Beetle, Raven your up,"

"GO rave!" I cheer

They get into stance and Raven launched an attack but blue dodges it by flying up. He then shoots beams at her but she manages to dodge the attacks.

"sorry raven the bug doesn't want to lose," he says

"And you do?" Raven asks

She then sends a raven shaped thing around blue but a light blue beam comes at her and makes her fall to the ground. Blue rushes to her side.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine, although dad thinks I've disgraced myself, so that's nice," Raven smiles

"Beast boy, Terra," Nightwing calls "You ready?"

well isn't it Gar's lucky day?

"I'll take it easy on you Terra, "Beast boy says

"I'm going to enjoy shutting u up," she says

I don't blame her

"Only if u catch me," he says then turns into a cheetah. She lifts the ground beneath him but he turns into a monkey then lands as a bear. Terra rolls back and levels the surface beneath her. B turns into a falcon dodging all of Terra's attacks. He then lands on her turning into a snake, a mamba to be precise. He coils around her body.

"Ah, mon-jour ré (did not get that right). Let Garfield give you a big hug. Mm so soft. I let you go for a little kiss,"

Terra then opens her eyes "Who you calling witch?!"

oh no. The trigger word.

She lets out a tornado of dust and rocks sending Gar flying.

"Terra!" Starfire says

She then raises a rock in a tsunami form to Gar.

"She's going to kill him!" Robin says

Nightwing runs to him and Blue shoots a beam to the rocks stopping it. Starfire then sends a blast next to Terra that snaps out of it. Robin then runs to her "Terra control yourself,"

"What? What's going on?" she asks she then looks to Gar "I'm sorry, it's not my fault,"

"Let me calm your mind," Rachel says walking to her.

"No, don't touch me," she puts a stop sign with her hand

"terra, it's alright. we understand," Star says

"Take a breath," Nightwing says

"Yeah, I know you didn't mean to hurt me. I took it to far," Gar says

She looks around "What's wrong with you people?" she says and walks away.

I walk to where Rachel, Dick, Kori and Damian were.

"I know what you're going to say. Terra needs more training," Dicks says to Damian

"It's something else, she knows," she intends to Raven

"Since we talked I have sensed something off about Terra," Rachel said

"She needs to be watched Grayson," Damian said

"She needs understanding, not surveillance. She may have her rough edges but Kori thinks she's worth it and I agree" he got out of his seat.

"No," I walked in "They're right,"

"Not you too," Nightwing says

"Look, they're right. Yes, we are al worth it but has it ever occurred to you that maybe she's here on purpose?" I say

"Val, what are you talking about?"

"She's lying? Don't you see? I can tell when someone is lying," I say

"Oh really, give us proof," he crosses his arms

"Oh like earlier this morning at training your moves were slower than usual and your reaction time if off. You let Kori win," I say "It's either that or you're getting old, but I doubt it cause you're still in your twenties or early thirties,"

Kori looks to Nightwing

"And also if you want more proof here we go. First time I saw her is a day after she arrived. I could tell straight forward she was lying. Her shoulders are in always in discomfort that's why she shrugs all the time. Her tone if off both now and before, she' worried I can see it straight through it. She's not a good actress. Also, she's wearing B-30 contact lenses, meaning that whatever she sees someone else is as well," I say "The reason I know this is because 1 was trained to recognise stuff that many don't realise. 2, her eyes are not the same since we first met her. The first two days her eyes were a shade lighter than usual, and if you walk past her in the right angle you can see the glitch or shimmer that technology can enhance like in force fields, 3 I had my ai run a scan of it to confirm, would you like any more proof?"

"That's enough Val, you cross the boundary," Starfire says

"I didn't actually. I didn't invade her privacy," I say

"See Grayson, I told you she needs-"

"Enough," Nightwing says firmly.

"Look," I say calmly. "If you want us to get us killed there are easier ways to do that. I just don't want to see my friend to get heartbroken by betrayal," I say referring to Gar then walk away.

I head back to my room where I roll onto the bed. I can't sleep, I already read every book on my shelf. I scroll through my phone for any new messages. Nothing.

I woke up on the edge of the bed. I groaned and felt my messy hair. What time was it? I looked at the time on my phone. 10:25? Damian should have woken me up now. Weird. Getting up I got dressed in black shorts and a white semi shirt. I get out looking around the tower, Rachel and Gar were only here. Looks like the rest were gone. I got a text from Dames

Dames❤️: On a mission

That was weird, he would usually say I love you, then again he's busy. But it was Terra's one year anniversary party. Still, Damian disliked Terra so that makes sense. I got ready for the party, Kori, Dick, Jamie came back. I hid behind a table and when she came in we turned on the lights. She made a rock formation

"Shit, you guys scared me," she said

"We can see that," Kori said

"Are those for me?" she walked to the presents

"They sure are, for your one year anniversary for staying at the titans," Gar said "it was all Rachel's idea,"

"I-, no one has ever done this for me," she said tearing up. "Thanks, thanks a lot,"

"Let's get this party started!" Gar said

I just went with it, I didn't want her to be suspicious. Gar took photos on his phone, I was just there eating cake, cause well, it's cake. DIck and Kori went to the computer room for something about HIVE. Gar ended photos to Damian, which made me want to message him so I did.

Third POV

Slade walked into the room where Damian was being held.

"Beastboy is sending pictures from Terra's party," Slade said and another buzz came from the phone. "and I already replied to Grayson, sounded like you as well,"

Damian was quite worried about Adora, he didn't want her getting hurt even though she was more than capable of handling the situation. "You should go," Damian said all bloodied up "fighting teenagers is more your speed,"

"I'm not gonna let you bait me kid," Slade crossed his arms. "Oh what the hell?" he then slapped him across the face making Damian spit blood.

"Big man, why not get me out of here so I can defend myself properly. Unless you're afraid?" Damian said

"Really? your down to hoping that I'm gonna let you out of there like the biggest stooge in a movie?"

"Your outfit says give it a shot," Damian said and all in return was a punch from him.

"Grandson of the demon's head you are not. You're an entitled brat, I rose from nothing while u had everything handed to you. You cost me my rightful place," Slade said

"The family you betrayed," Damian looked up

"They turned on me by choosing you, you took my old family Damian so I'll take your new one," He walked away then stopped.

"It's from someone named beloved, girlfriend right? She said sorry you're missing out, love you heart. How cute. Well might as well start with her," Slade said.

"Slade, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Damian growled.

"I'm going to text 'I'm breaking up with you I don't someone special in my life,💔" Slade said aloud while texting her.

Damian made a demonic growl "I swear once I get my hands on you-"

"Well if you get your hands on me," Slade chuckled.

Adora's POV

I stared at the text

Dames❤️: 'I'm breaking up with you I don't need someone special in my life,💔

No, no, no. Damian broke up with me. I took in deep shaking breaths, tears formed in my eyes. Kay, kay, stop I look at the text again. Wait, Damian would never put an emoji, he said he hated those. Alright and he's not a man of text, he's a person of face to face. Also, his writing was off, he would put a comma after 'I'm breaking up with you'. I knew this wasn't Damian, not my Damian.

I turned off my phone and headed towards the computer room where the rest are.

"This scientist worked for HIVE. Were going to search for him or any leads. If we do find him, we want him alive at all costs," Kori stated "we leave in five minutes,"

I get ready, I head out on my electromagnetic suspended bike, following Nightwing. We arrive at a bonded building. "Watch your spacing," Starfire says and flies ahead.

We attack by Starfire blasting a beam to next to the scientist.

"Step away from the computer, you won't get hurt," Starfire says

He then presses a button underneath his desk sending drones to us. I shoot bullets from my cuffs making then explode. I then see the scientist running, I look to Star who says:

"Go after him, I'll cover you," I obey and run to him. I head outside and spot him running down a street. I manage to outrun him and tackle him to the ground and get him to stand up and walk to the titans.

"Talk," I grip his arms and hit on a pressure point. He then gets shot and falls to the ground, it was from a robot that was still partially functioning. Blue blasts it. Great no info

"Bad luck for him, at least it wasn't one of us," Blue says. Starfire gets the papers from his case.

"Yes, bad luck we couldn't speak to him about these," I see photos of all of us, from recent events from the fair we went to last year. I see one of me and Damian on the fairest wheel which gives me a wave of sadness.

"Maybe he was a fan?' Gar said

Third POV

"Is it really a surprise they would study us?" Kori says "We've been defeating them for months. And you were after them even before that,"

"But this stuff is so in-depth," Nightwing says "Things and genetic makeup, theories on Raven's powers, Beastboy's too. Val's flawless fighting, and Beetles suit. What's it for?" he wondered.

"We need to get Robin back here," Kori says

"You know how stubborn he is," Nightwing said

"he's a titan, he needs to be here," Kori said.
