but i didn't see the human.

i did notice the open scarecrow arms hanging under the sky,
but i didn't know they wanted to embrace.
i failed to belong.

then, your door was closed.
and i have been taught to only knock once.
so a failure remained a failure,
for i still fail to belong.

but you know what?
one door was open to me,
wide with an embrace which penetrated under your skin.

i walked barefoot into tartarus
and learnt how the shallow burning arms of flames can
rise
and rise.

now the orbs of my eyes are the same colour as your gold teeth.

you failed.
you failed to feel me.
your skin is shedding now.
you failed.
