→˚₊· 🦋 ܴೈ BACKSTORY — elsie is the daughter of two women. two very much in love women who received too much discrimination for their relationship. during her childhood, elsie often times was bullied by her peers because her mothers. the girl, at the time, was very confused because having two mums was normal to her. when her siblings became victims of bullying for the same reasons, elsie protected and helped them.

music was elsie's escape from the world. it helped her calm down when she was troubled. over the years, she started to find joy in singing. her mum, who often listened to her, convinced her to audition for yg entertainment. elsie auditioned with a lot of doubt. she didn't believe to actually be accepted. so to say that she was surprised receiving the news that she got accepted is an understatement.

in her teens, elsie realised that she was bisexual when she had a crush on a classmate of hers. she wasn't scared of her family's reaction but more so of her friends' reaction to those news. however, she still decided to come out of the closet, and mostly received love and support.
