"Look, Ri, you know I love you, but you're crazy if you think I believe this whole "this girl i like is a mermaid" story." Riri rolled her eyes at her friend as they walked down the beach. "When you see her, you'll believe me, I swear." Riri said, holding a seashell in her hands.

"And if she does show up, what are you gonna do?" Makena asked, looking down at Riri. "Uhh, I-I didn't think of that yet." Riri scratched the back of her neck awkwardly.

"Aye, but seriously, when this is all over, when are you gonna introduce me to the Queen of Wakanda?" Makena smiled, throwing her arm around Riri. "As I've said before, Shuri is not the Queen of Wakanda. Shuri is the Black Panther." Riri corrected, shaking her head in amusement at Makena. "Yo same shit. She's hot, she's smart, she's a badass, and somehow I haven't bagged her yet and that's botherin' me."

Riri laughed at her friend as she pulled off her shoes and set them in the sand. "I love how you ain't even know if she gay, but you insist on gettin' wit her." Riri walked towards the water as Makena stood a bit far off. "Oh please, if she ain't gay now, the minute she takes a look at me and this ass, she will be." Makena said, with her cocky attitude as usual but Riri loved it anyways.

Riri took a breath before blowing into the seashell and placing it into the water. She backed up, standing beside Makena. "So...is that it? She's just gonna hear a seashell?" Makena deadpanned, still not buying Riri's story. "Do you gotta pick point at every lil thing?" Riri shook her head and Makena chuckled and nodded. "Yes I do, who else is gon' call you out on your bullshit?"

"It's not bullshit, she's real." Riri argued. Makena pursed her lips and sat down in the sand, not wanting to argue. "Aight, fine. But I'm not believin' you until she's right in my face." Makena said, crossing her arms over her chest. Riri sighed and sat down next to Makena. "She'll be here, I promise."

Makena sighed as she looked at her phone. "Ri, we've been here for an hour...maybe she didn't hear you." Makena mumbled, still not buying Riri's story. "Yeah, maybe you right...it's gettin' late." Riri said disappointingly as she grabbed her shoes.

Makena couldn't take her eyes off the glow coming from the ocean waters. Especially this dark at night, she knew she wasn't picturing it. Makena hit Riri's shoulder like a million times and Riri turned to look at her, "Bitch, why you hittin' me?" Riri shoved Makena's hand away.

"Because of that!" Makena pointed to the head that popped out of the water. Riri turned to look at where she was pointing and couldn't fight the grin that rised on her lips as happiness filled her chest. "Soul?" Riri stood up as Makena scooted back.

Soulina didn't even get a chance to remove her tail before Riri had ran into the water and wrapped her arms around Soul. "I missed you." Riri mumbled into Soul's neck.

Soul smiled, loving the feeling of Riri in her arms after many long months without her. "I missed you too." Soul pulled away gently and cupped Riri's face with soft eyes. "Are you okay? I got here as fast as I could." Riri nodded and Soul sighed, pulling Riri back into an embrace.

Soul's eyes darkened and her eyes squinted as she looked at the woman she had seen next to Riri previously. "Who is that?" Riri pulled away and turned to look where Soul was looking at.

"Oh, that's just my friend Makena." Riri explained, raising her brows at Soul's dirty look. "Are you jealous?" Riri smirked. Soul scoffed, "I don't get jealous."

"That's some bullshit."

Soul rolled her eyes. "Do you trust her?" Soul asked.

"Yeah, she's definitely trustworthy. She uh sorta, kinda, is a black widow." Riri explained. "What's that?" Soul asked and Riri sighed, forgetting that Soul didn't know much about anything that happened in the surface world. "Let's just say, she's a really good fighter who kills bad guys." Riri explained.

"Oh, okay." Soul nodded. Riri shivered, "Yo, uh can you do me a favor?" Riri asked, just starting to feel how cold the water was.

"Anything." Soul breathed out.

"Can you prove to my friend that you're a mermaid?" Riri requested, waving over Makena. Soul nodded as Makena got closer to the water. "Kena, turn on your flashlight!" Riri said. Kena sighed and did as told, pointing it at Soul who waved her tail out of the water with a bored expression. "Holy shit you wasn't lyin'." Makena breathed out in shock.

"You're freezin', you should probably get out," Soul pointed out. "You gon' come out wit me?" Rirk asked not wanting Soul to leave her again.

Soul gave a reassuring nod and turned her tail back into her legs. "Yeah, c'mon." Soul and Riri both walked out of the ocean water together and Makena raised her brows seeing Soul without a tail. "I told you she has legs too," Ri said before Kena could ask.

"Oh, aight." Kena mumbled and grabbed her sweater, tossing it to Riri. "You ain't tell me she was smokin' hot," Kena whispered to Riri before smiling sweetly at Soul. "It's probably just the mermaid attraction thing, it happens with all mermaids. She had Shuri down bad for her with some lil spell." Riri shrugged. She wasn't worried, she knew Soul only had eyes for her.

"I don't think it's that, Ri. She's like, super, super hot and somehow adorable at the same time. It's kinda freakin' me out here." Kena rambled, looking at Soul who bent down to grab the seashell that came to her hands.

"Aye aye, whoa there, stop lookin' at my girl's ass." Riri scolded, hitting Kena's arn and Makena chuckled. "I can't help it, she's got a nice ass," Kena mumbled.

"I know," Soul said, walking back towards them. "Sorry, I have really strong hearing." Soul chuckled, sticking out her hand. Makena smiled and shook the mermaid's hand, pursing her lips at how soft her skin was. "Whoa, do you shave a lot?" Riri slapped Kena's arm at the random question.

"What's shaving?" Soul asked and Kena raised her brows. "I'm sorry what? You don't shave? You don't know what that is?" Kena furrowed her brows taking Soulina's arm and feeling it. "Oh shit, yo you're like super soft and hairless, that's so weird but cool." Makena chuckled.

"I apologize for her, she's a very...uh..expressive person." Riri said taking Kena's hand off of Soulina's arm. "It's okay. So, uh where are we going? I think we should talk." Soul said, fiddling with her fingers.

"My place is closer, y'all can share the guest room." Makena said, walking towards the stairs. "Okay." Soul mumbled and Riri took her hand, leading her up the stairs. She fell a few times but Riri helped up her each time, after laughing at her, of course.

Soul followed Riri into Makena's place, and looked around, it was a little messy but a normal kinda messy. "Sorry for the mess, I haven't had time to clean." Kena pulled out her gun and put it in the compartment under her desk. "It's all good, Kena." Riri reassured.

Kena grabbed the white sheet and threw it over the big half painted canvas before they could see it. "You paint?" Soul asked looking at all the paint stains in the couch, on the walls and floors. It actually gave her place a nice touch, it had her vibes. "It's just a hobby. It's the only thing they let me do in the red room." Kena shrugged, picking up the clothes off the couch.

"Your home is really nice. I love the view." Soul smiled as she walked to the ceiling to floor windows.

"Thanks. I got it pretty cheap so I'd say it's worth it." Kena shrugged, sitting on the couch and grabbing her weed grinder. "We gon' be in the room, aight Kena?" Riri said, taking Soulina's hand.

"Hey, if you fuck, please clean your own sheets. You know where the washer is. Okay?" Kena said, giving Riri a pointed look. "I hate you." Riri stated, shaking her head and dragging Soul into the room.

"No you don't," Kena scoffed, shaking her head in amusement.

Soul sat down on the bed as Riri paced the room nervously trying to find the right words to say. "It's been uh..months and...why didn't you call?" Riri blurted out, looking at Soul in disbelief.

"I-I uh don't have a phone?" Soul looked down not understanding what Riri meant by call. "But Shuri gave you one, remember?" Riri pointed out.

"Phones don't work at the bottom of the ocean, Riri. And callin' goes both ways." Soul said. Riri sighed seeing Soulina's point there. "You know, I waited for you. I went to the river every night but you weren't there." Riri said, a shaky breath leaving her throat as she held the blanket closer to her.

"I didn't think you'd want to see me again," Soul spoke quietly. Riri's face dropped, "Why would you think that?"

"I don't know, be-because of our argument and I just didn't think you loved me enough to care if we never seen each other again. It's not like you were missin' much. Your life was perfectly fine without me in it, and I came in and almost got you killed. You don't deserve someone like that. You don't deserve to put up with my family or my problems."

"But that's not your decision to make, Soul!" Riri snapped, only to immediately regret it when Soul flinched. "Sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you. I'm just frustrated." Riri sighed, running a hand over her hair.

"It's okay," Soul whispered.

"Look, Soul, I don't care how my life was before, I don't care what your intentions were at first, because that's in the past. All that matters is us, now. Ever since I left Wakanda, I can't stop thinkin' 'bout you. I couldn't work or focus without my mind driftin' off to you." Riri walked forward and took Soulina's soft hands in her own. "And to be honest, I don't give a fuck if your father approves of me. I mean yeah, does it suck that yo pops don't like me? Most definitely. But the only approval we need, is our own baby."

Soul went to speak but Riri cut her off. "Before you say anything. I just wanna say I'm sorry, for not callin' and for that disagreement we had in Wakanda." Riri finished up.

"Can I talk now?" Soul asked, not wanting to get cut off again. Riri nodded and let go of Soul's hands that she was clutching a little too hard.

"Ri, family means everything to me, and I couldn't be with you because of the fact that my father didn't approve. And I apologize for takin' that out on you. You didn't deserve the way I treated you. I'm just so new at this, ya know? I don't know how this typa stuff works. And the timing wasn't the best." Soul ran a hand over her mouth, trying to find the right words to say to Riri without making it sound like she was making excuses.

Look, I only want what's best for you. I care about your happiness. Cause if you aren't happy, I'm not happy. But I know what I deserve too, and I deserve honesty, I deserve happiness, and I deserve someone who's gonna keep it real with me. And, if you don't want me, I can go, I'll be out of your life, for good. But if you want me, and all this crazy shit that comes with me, you have to tell me. I need to know what you want, cause baby you confuse the fuck outta me."

Riri couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the last part. She stepped closer to Soul, standing in between her legs as she cupped the mermaid's face. Soul looked up at her and Riri leaned down and pressed her lips softly against Soul's. Riri pulled away and looked into Soul's dark brown eyes as she spoke, "I want you, Soul. I want you and everything that comes with you."

"Then you got me." Soul smiled pulling Riri down for a longer and more passionate kiss. Soul pulled Riri onto her lap with one arm and moved the kisses down Riri's jaw. "Oh fuck, you're good at that." Riri breathed out.

Soul pulled away suddenly and Riri looked down at her with furrowed. "You okay?"

"I'm just confused. What does this mean? Are we like together...??" Soul questioned, needing some kind of confirmation.

Riri sighed and smiled, "Soulina. Will you be my girlfriend, please?" Riri asked.

Soul's eyes widened slightly and she nodded fast, "Yeah, I'll be your girlfriend." Riri nodded and pecked Soul's lips, "Good. So, can we continue please? I really missed your lips..and you of course."

Soul nodded and flipped them over so she was on top, rather than Riri being on top. "Oh wow, didn't take you for a top." Riri mumbled.

"Switch," Soul whispered into Riri's ear, pressing a kiss just under it. "O-Oh." Riri stammered out.

"Are you sure you're ready?" Riri asked as Soul trailed her kisses down to Riri's covered chest.

"Jach a t'aan," Soul mumbled, tugging on Riri's shirt. (Translation: You talk too much)

"Imma take that as a yes," Riri said, tugging her shirt off and pulling down Soul to reconnect their lips.

"Not gon' lie, I had no clue what you was sayin' last night. But, it was hot." Riri mumbled admittedly as she laid on Soulina's bare chest. "I forget to speak English sometimes, sorry. I'm so used to speaking Mayan. I'll have to get used to English more." Soul said with a small chuckle.

"No, no, it's okay, you speak whatever language you're comfortable using," Riri reassured as her hand traced Soul's starfish tattoo. "So...did you enjoy last night?" Riri asked quietly, looking at Soul who barely had her eyes open.

"Yeah, probably the best night of my life after first layin' eyes on you of course," Soul mumbled. Riri blushed and pressed a kiss to Soulina's chest. "I love how you make everything sound romantic." She mumbled, resting her hand on Soul's waist.

Soul smiled, pulling Riri closer to her as she hummed a tune under her breath. But suddenly the sound of glass breaking an a thud hit the wall caused both of them to sit up abruptly. "What the fuck?" Riri mumbled in confusion.

"Stay here. I mean it." Soul slid out of bed and slid on oversized sweater Kena had let Riri wear that night.

Soul rushed out of the room only to see Makena being thrown across the kitchen island, knocking everything off the table in the process. Makena reached for her gun but the person kicked it out of their reach. Soul's brows scrunched in confusion seeing the person hold down Makena with claws against her throat. Makena grinned and Soul's eyes widened when their helmet came off, revealing Shuri, the Black Panther.

"Shuri?" Soul gaped at the scene and Shuri turned to look at Soul, letting out a breath of relief at her at her and Riri who peeked out of the bedroom with a blanket wrapped around her. "What the hell are you doing?!" Soul exclaimed in Xhosa, taking Shuri's wrist and pulling her off of Makena.

"Your Kimoyo Beads were turned off and Attuma grew worried, as well as Okoye so she asked if I could track you and see if you were okay before your father found out. You really need to start being more responsible. You can't go a whole week without contacting your family. Are you insane?" Shuri scolded in Xhosa, making Soul gap in offense.

"I'm the insane one? You literally attacked Riri's friend!" Soul shot back. Shuri rolled her eyes finding Soul to be a bit over dramatic. "She was the one giving me attitude and lying straight to my face. Oh and had the audacity to ask for my number when she had a knife at my throat!" Shuri waved her arms dramatically causing Soul to roll her eyes and cross her eyes over her chest with a bored look.

"You're being over dramatic. She was just being cautious and protecting us." Soul scoffed and walked past Shuri and towards Makena who was still on the floor. Soul reached out her hand to Makena who took it and let Soul pull her up. "That was a good workout, we should do that again sometime. But, I totally almost had you, had you not pulled out some claws." Makena mused, wincing at her bleeding leg from Shuri's claws.

"And yet I'm not the one limping so I'd say, I won." Shuri shot back with pettiness. "You won yet your nose is broken, your lip is split, your cheek is cut, and your eyebrow is bleedin'...so pretty sure I won baby girl." Makena said, throwing her arm Soul with a teasing smirk as she looked at Shuri.

"Yo, she got you there," Riri chuckled and Shuri turned to send her a glare.

"Help me to the couch please," Kena said to Soul who nodded and helped Kena to the couch. "Aye, y'all go take a shower and get dressed. I got some spare clothes in the guest room, then you can attend to whatever business you got with cat girl here." Makena said, noticing Soul didn't have anything underneath the sweater and same with Riri and the blanket.

"Aight. Shuri, wait here and please don't kill her. I know she got a big mouth but she means well." Riri said before Soul was pushing her back into the room before she could offend Makena anymore.

Makena grabbed the first aid kit under her coffee table and pulled off her sweats. "You can sit down, spikes don't come out the couch your highness." Kena mumbled, cleaning the blood with a wince each time she pressed too hard. "Or are you one of them rich folks who looks down at everything that isn't shiny and glamorous like you prefer?" Kena raised a brow and Shuri sighed, sitting down on the couch across Kena.

"Could you do me a favor?" Makena asked, a needle held in between her lips as she prepared to stitch up the two wounds herself. "As long as it doesn't include giving you my number," Shuri mumbled, still a little petty about the good beating Makena gave her. "Ouch, couldn't have rejected me in a less harsh manner?" Makena chuckled.

Shuri shook her head in amusement and looked back at Kena. "Could you, I don't know, ask me stuff, just keep me talkin'? Just so I don't pass out, cause one time I did and it wasn't fun." Kena said groaning as she began the stitching.

"Uh okay. Who taught you to fight?" Shuri asked, looking away from what Kena was doing as blood seeped out and onto the towel set under her thigh to prevent it from getting on her couch. "Uhh, fuck uhm red room, yeah red room taught me, more like forced me. I was taken as child and forced to become an assassin, which I still am as it's kinda the only thing I'm really good at."

"So you're a black widow? Like Natasha Romanoff?" Shuri tilted her head curiously.

"Nah, I could never be like Natasha, she was the best, she was a hero. I'm just a woman who kills bad people for a livin', I ain't a hero." Makena stated, taking a heavy breath as she continued the stitching. "What's with all the weed everywhere? Are you like a part time drug dealer?" Shuri asked, gesturing to the bags of weed on the table.

Makena couldn't help but chuckle at the question, "No I'm not a drug dealer, I just happen to fund my friend's grow house so I get 50% of weed in return. It's a good deal." Kena shrugged, letting out another heavy breath. Shuri hummed as she looked around taking notice of the paint swatches everywhere and the huge canvas that was covered with a white sheet.

"That's not finished yet," Makena said, noticing Shuri look at the coveted canvas with curiosity. "What is it?" Shuri asked, referring to what or who Makena was painting on it.

"Nothing important, just someone I couldn't get out of my head." Makena said, taking a breath before moving onto the next scratch, courtesy of Shuri. "So, how fast do you usually heal?" Makena raised her brows, referring to the damage she did on Shuri that was healing significantly fast. Shuri looked down in thought, "Uhh, I'm sorta new at this healing stuff but usually it doesn't take very long." Shuri responded.

"Lucky you." Makena mused, fighting back her groans of pain with heavy breathing. "Did you need some help?" Shuri asked, grimacing at the amount of blood Makena was loosing. "Nope, I'm good, not my first rodeo. But, I would appreciate if you could get me some ice, in the freezer." Makena pointed at her fridge and Shuri nodded and stood up, walking towards it.

Makena sighed in relief as she finished up the stitching. She quickly cleaned up the blood before bandaging it up and wrapping her leg tightly so it would ensure it wouldn't come off. Shuri walked over and handed Makena a bag of ice, "Thanks," Makena mumbled as she placed it on her leg.

Before Shuri could reply, a thud was heard in the bathroom, making Shuri stand up straighter in concern. She went to go to it until Makena grabbed her hand and stopped her. "I'd advise against that, you don't wanna scar yourself for life." Makena said in amusement.

Shuri's eyes widened slightly before it turned into a grimace as she understood what Makena was implying. "Oh, you should've been here last night, I swear I had to leave the place for two hours and when I came back, they were still goin' at it." Kena chuckled as she let go of Shuri's hand.

Shuri huffed and plopped down on the couch across Makena, figuring she was gonna be there for a while, she clicked the button to remove her suit so she was in her original clothing. "Young love," Shuri sighed, shaking her head with a small smile.

"Yeah. You ever experience it?" Makena asked, tilting her head in question.

"Uhm, nope, not necessarily. Never had a girlfriend before." Shuri shrugged. Makena pursed her lips at the girlfriend part, eventually smirking to herself as she didn't hear Shuri correct herself like most closeted women had did previously to her. "I find that extremely hard to believe," Makena shook her head, not buying that Shuri never had a girlfriend before.

"Are you callin' me a liar?" Shuri laughed.

Makena chuckled and shook her head in amusement, "No, I'm not calling you a liar. I just find it hard to believe that a beautiful ass woman like yourself, has never experienced love." Makena grinned as she caught Shuri roll her eyes, trying to cover up her flustered face.

"Well, what about you? Have you ever experienced love?" Shuri questioned, finding it hard to believe that Makena herself had not been with someone before.

Makena shook her head, "Nope, never had time for it. My entire life has been the red room. When Nat and Yelena saved us, I've only ever been doin' what I was made to do. And that's kill." Makena looked down at the ice, avoiding eye contact with Shuri as she just knew Shuri would have that pitty look on her face like everyone did.

"What about your parents?" Shuri asked.

"Both dead."

"Relatives?"

"All dead."

"Family?"

"None alive that I know of," Kena shrugged as if it didn't effect her, and it didn't. They didn't care about her and she didn't give a shit about them.

"And that doesn't effect you? At all?" Shuri questioned, not buying it. "They never gave a shit about me so why should I give a shit about them? I made that mistake once and I got thrown into the red room, courtesy of those so called parents." Makena chuckled but it wasn't anything amusing, she just liked to pretend it was.

"Ya know, I've told you a lot about me. Tell me some things about you," Makena said, changing the subject so she didn't have to keep talking about people who ruined her life.

"Well, I've always had a love for science since I was just a small girl. Not to be cocky or anything but I did recreate the heart shaped herb and brought back the black panther." Shuri mumbled the last part and Makena laughed at her gloating. "Oh yeah, that's totally nothing."

Shuri and Kena shared a laugh before Kena asked another question. "So, tell me about your family. Unless it's a sore subject, then you ain't gotta."

"It's okay, it's not. Uh, well my father passed away when I was sixteen, he got killed by a bombing when he was attending some business representing Wakanda. Then, shortly after he passed, my brother, T'Challa, took over the throne and obviously the black panther. And when I was eighteen, the Thanos snap happened and I got blipped or whatever, as did my brother. We came back, defeated Thanos and not long after that my brother got sick, and he passed away."

Makena looked down remembering when she heard the news about King T'Challa passing away to some unknown illness. "Uh, then my brother's girlfriend accidentally started war with this nation when she shot their princess. The King wanted revenge, and he drowned my mother in front of me. So, I lost her and I knew I had to make a new herb to protect Wakanda, but also see my mother. The princess had helped me and we stood tall, and I guess that's where we are. So yeah, never had time for girlfriends like I said."

"That makes a lot more sense now. And this princess girl, I'm assuming, is Soul?" Makena questioned, remembering Riri explain the entire story of what happened whilst she was gone doing a job with Yelena in Ukraine. Shuri nodded, confirming Makena's thoughts. "And her daddy, killed your momma? And you just let that slide? Oh man you better than me cause I would've fried her like a catfish." Makena chuckled.

"I wanted to kill her but then again, she isn't responsible for her father's actions. And she had nothing to do with it anyways." Shuri said coming to Soulina's defense. "And Riri would've totally hated you if you killed her bae," Makena added and Shuri nodded with a laugh.

"Quick question. Did you get blipped, and if so, how old are you?" Shuri asked, looking Makena up and down as she did look significantly young like in her early twenties.

"If I didn't get blipped, I'd be about 26/27, but I appear to be 24 as I did get five years of my life snatched." Makena mused. (just roll with it, it's different from my shuri book but still the same kena attitude ๐Ÿ˜ญโ˜บ๏ธ)

"Ah, so you're about two years older than me," Shuri said. Makena raised a brow, curious as to why Shuri wanted to know her age but she had somewhat an idea. "My turn. Why'd you wanna know my age?"

Shuri looked away trying to come up with a quick lie. "Just curious. I mean, you've had about two years to land anyone you could want, and you haven't. Why is that?" Shuri asked.

Makena blinked not expecting that question but she had an answer anyways. "Simple, I'm not a relationship person. I don't crave love, I don't need it, and I don't want it. I find relationships to be pointless. They all end in heartbreak anyways so what's the point? Happiness? Nah, all I need is to do what I enjoy doin' and that's enough for me." Kena shrugged, fiddling with the rings on her fingers.

"Everyone deserves love, even you." Shuri countered, causing Kena to look up and squint her eyes at the princess. "You barely know me. What makes you think, I do? How do you know I'm not a bad person?" Makena raised her brows waiting for an answer.

"If you were a bad person, you would've done more damage than you did to me. I know you could, you fight just like Natasha Romanoff, and she didn't lose fights." Shuri replied, looking back at Makena who had no reaction on her face.

"Maybe you're right. But just because I may deserve it, doesn't mean I want it." Makena said. Shuri pursed her lips, slightly nodding in agreement with her. "And that's your decision, but something tells me that's a lie." Shuri stated.

Before Makena could argue against it, Soul walked out of the room, dressed in some of Makena's clothes that fit perfectly on her. "Riri's washin' our clothes and sheets...so uh she told me to tell you if you could order some food. She's hungry." Soul said, walking over and standing near the couch Shuri was sat on.

"Fine by me, I'm starvin'." Makena shrugged, grabbing her phone on the coffee table.

"Hey, Shuri, I was thinking you could help me look for an apartment here." Soul spoke in Xhosa, sitting on the chair Makena had near the couch.

"As long as you reassure your family that you're fine and safe, then we can go and do that today. Does your father know your moving here?" Shuri asked suspiciously. Soul sighed and Shuri shook her head in exasperation. The last thing she needed was dealing with an angry king and upset princess.

"I mean, I think he'll be okay with it.." Soul mumbled, awkwardly pursing her lips. Shuri face-palmed and shook her head, "You better figure this out because I am not about to come and save Riri when your father becomes homicidal." Shuri scolded and Soul frowned, hating when Shuri scolded her like a child.

"Aye, why you got my girl frownin' like her pet shark just died?" Riri asked, wrapping her arms around Soulina's neck from behind and pressed a peck to her cheek. "You got a pet shark?" Makena asked in shock.

Soul smiled and nodded happily, "His name is Bembe." Makena pursed her lips, wanting to be surprised but anything Soulina said at this point didn't shock her. "That's...cool."

"Namor doesn't know she's moving here," Shuri pointed out, getting back on topic. "Oh." Riri mumbled, looking down at Soul who was looking at everything but her. "It's okay, we'll figure it out," Riri nodded, trying to convince herself as she gave Soul's hand a comforting squeeze.

"Hey, I gotta go to class so you comfortable stayin' here 'till I get back?" Riri asked quietly. Soul nodded looking up at Riri. "Sure." Riri smiled and pressed a kiss to Soul's lips and then forehead before grabbing her shoes and heading towards the door. "I ordered some food to your dorm, so it should be there by time you get there!" Makena said as Riri headed out.

"Thank you!"
