You dashed past Rin, running full speed towards the goal, paying no mind to the rest of the people in the field

'Score' that was the only thing in your mind

The Blue Lock players quickly got into defensive positions, each taking their own players to defend

When you were almost near the goal, you looked back at Sae who was already in position for a pass

Shidou attempted to get past Reo in an attempted to get the ball, and just when he thought he was going to receive the pass

The ball went past him

And with it was you chasing it

"How the hell?! She was a just across the field!" Reo shout in frustration

Your a bit your cheeks due to the level of concentration you were in

Reo left Shidou who was discarded by Sae and ran after to you to block your shot

With the player who was approaching you from your left side, you couldn't shoot on the left side of the goal cause it'd be intercepted

'Top right corner' you thought to yourself as you prepared for a shot

Reo had caught up to you and attempted to pull you back in a way to stop you from shooting, but despite his attempt, you slammed your foot on the ball as it flew in the direction of the goal

Gagamaru who had assumed the ball would go for the bottom right corner attempted to block the ball, but when he saw it got for the top, he extended his foot to block the shot

"Shaghihoko!!" Exclaimed the goalkeeper

"That damned flexible beast" you smirked as sweat dripped down your forehead

Gagamaru fell on the floor as the ball went up into the air for a couple seconds

And I'm those seconds you and Chou were already running in its direction to take another shot

Reo ran alongside you pulling you back so as to stop you from getting any clear shot at the goal

When the three of you got to the ball, Reo pushed you slightly back and copied Nagi's earlier tap lift before clearing the ball

He shot the ball on the opposite side of their goal and into Nagi's possession

"Go, blue lock!!" He exclaimed with passion

"You're starting to sound just as corny as Isagi back then" you gave the man one last look before running in the direction of your goal

You observed the situation to get a good idea on where you should position yourself

Isagi was leading the attack with Nagi, Barou and Rin at his side, although all Barou was doing was trying to steal the ball from the male

Isagi and Rin passed the ball back and forth between each other, but they weren't getting anywhere with how hard the U-20 team was pressing them

Karasu ran passed you in Isagi's direction to aid them in getting closer to the goal

'Something is off...' you thought to yourself

That's when you realized that Barou was no longer tailing Isagi

'Letting an unpredictable player like him out of my line of sight is too dangerous' you looked around and found the male lurking not too far away from Rin

That's when you noticed Sae preventing Isagi from scoring, Rin approaching to help the male with Barou following close behind

You ran as fast as you could towards the male as Isagi tried to pass the ball to Rin

"You guys sure get along, but too bad" Aiku said from Rin's shadow shocking the surrounding people

But his moment didn't last as you and Barou charged in between them and Isagi

"Seems you really won't leave me be, loser" Barou scowled at you as you kept your arm in front of his chest to block him "too bad for you, your physique can't compete with mine!"

You extended your leg as Barou shot the ball in the direction of the net

Your heel made small contact with the ball, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to change the trajectory of the ball

Barou took his shirt off and leaped into the air as his teammates tackled him

"Man" you sigh with your hand scratching the back of your neck "I guess Rin was right, I'm still not used to using my eyes like I used to"

"The force of suddenly using your eyes at full capacity is tiring you out, you should train them more so you can last longer" Sae spoke as he walked past you

"Whatever you say, boss" you followed him

You turned around at the sound of the referee's whistle

"Yellow card for the uncivilized act of stripping your uniform" he pointed the said card in Barou's face

The baffled faces of his teammates caused you to let out a few chuckles as you continue making your way back

"Y/N! Do that the next time you sc—" "Shut your mouth!" You slammed your fist on Shidou's head

"15 minutes left" you sigh with your hands on your hips while looking up at the sky

"We're taking this win!" Declared Shidou with a smirk

"Obviously" you smirked back at him

RESTART!!

Sae started with the ball as you and Shidou both ran at his sides

He began dribbling past each and every member's of Blue Locks's team with ease

Rin attempted to slide tackle the Sae, but the latter leaped over him and continued his way

Observing the scene, you began noticing changes in Rin's play

His mouvements were becoming more erratic and wild, nothing like the Rin's regular play style

His attention and mouvements were solely focused on syncing Sae

You ran forward near the left side of the net while Shidou went on the right

Sae continued dribbling past the player until it was finally time to pass the ball

'Who is he going to pass to' Isagi thought to himself 'Y/N is his nearest option and Shidou is being covered by Reo'

Looking back, you made eye contact with Sae as you nodded to the male

Isagi ran in your direction to block all chances of you scoring and as Sae kicked the ball, he realized that it wasn't going in your direction

"I was the logical choice, but don't forget that things are never guaranteed" you smirked at the male

"Damn you" he smirked, wiping the sweat on his chin

Shidou jumped up to take a shot and as he was about to score, his foot made contact with head instead of a ball

"Rin..." you and Isagi both said in unison

"Damn eyelash junior" Shidou let out a chuckle

Both you and Isagi approached Rin who was being helped up by Hiori as the latter stopped not too far from the male and you instead headed over to Shidou

"That's an attempted murder" you gave the blonde a deadpanned face

"Hey! He's the one who jumped in and attempted to off himself!" Shidou defended

"Ok sure" you put your hands to your hips before looking down at Rin

The said male wiped the blood coming from his nose as he stood back up

'That last play, he was definitely in sync with Sae's train of thoughts' you thought to yourself 'he's not there yet but he's basically got it'

You looked to the side and noticed Reo preparing for a pass

"Shidou, let's go" you said as you immediately began running

"You guys are getting too distracted" Reo made a long pass to Nagi

As the Blue Lock team made their way over to your goal, you noticed what was going to be a problem for your teammates

"That's gonna be a problematic duo" you looked at Bachira who ran with Isagi who held the ball

You noticed a strong presence approaching the two from behind as you let out a sigh "with him tailing Isagi though, it's not going to be as much of a problem"

Barou attempted to take the ball from Isagi's hold

"You scrubs are wasting time" Bachira snatched the ball from under Isagi's feet "Now it's my turn to dance"

The U-20 team attempted to block Bachira's path, but the letters creativity wasn't something they were able to predict

While they weren't able to stop him, they slowed him down enough for you to get past them, and place yourself behind Aiku whom had advanced to help his teammates

Aiku was unfortunately unable to stop him either, but you being the last line of defence before the goalie was good enough to reassure him

Bachira slowed down as his eyes remained glued on his and your feet

He attempts to feint left with a quick shift if his shoulder, but he wasn't able to make you budge

You adjusted your stance as to keep your center of gravity low with your arms out to block any mouvements

"I may not be able to compete with meat heads like Barou or Shidou in strength, but I can definitely hold you down" you chuckled

"Is the so?" Bachira's grin widened

He flicks the ball up with his toe, juggling it as to disorient you

You slightly step forward as to intercept it, but Bachira suddenly lifts his knee in a motion that made it seems as though he was about to lob the ball over your head

'His thigh muscles are tightening, his shoulders are shifting towards my left and the balance of his weight is leaning more on his left' your eyes sharpened as you stared the male down 'it's a feint, he's going to lower his knee when I get close, nutmeg me and run past me from my left'

You took a step forward and as Bachira brought his foot down in an attempt to nutmeg you, your right foot shifted and you intercepted the pass that was aimed between your legs

"Tch" Bachira let out a frustrated sound as he glared your way with his grin still on his face

"You should know better than to compete alone against a person who can read you like a book" You ran past him "Rin made that same mistake earlier against me, and look where it got him"

You immediately passed the ball to Sae as he was immediately blocked off by Karasu and Yukimiya

He passed the ball to Chou with whom you ran alongside

"Looks like the genius is finally opening up to the rest of the team" you smirked "let's go"

Chou nodded your way as he dribbled forward before coming face to face with Aryu and Hiori

"It's a 2v2" Hiori spoke

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious" you said

Chou passed the ball to you as Aryu attempted to place himself behind you to block your way

Instead of stopping like the latter had thought, you tapped the ball over his head, as Chou reflected your pass with his head and made it go over hiori's head

By the time he had done that, you had ran around Aryu to place yourself in front of the goal to take a shot

"Stop her!!" Aryu attempted to hold you back

You noticed Reo approaching at a rapid pace, enough that you were sure he was going to block your shot

"Oh well, guess you've got me cornered" you sigh

Instead of directly hitting the ball like you were supposed to, you used your toes to flick the ball up in the air and behind you where Sae was positioned

The male received the ball with his chest and as he attempted for a shot, Isagi blocked his way

"Nice sense of smell you selfish captain" Sae passed the ball behind his leg to Aiku who was on his right

"Sorry, but I used to be a striker myself" said captain smirked

When he took his shot, Rin appeared in front of him, causing the ball to bounce off his foot, and go over the net

"Too bad for you, I'm the little brother of a self-centered shit" Rin glared at Aiku

5 MINUTES LEFT

Sae took the ball to the corner as your team went into place

Shidou was on the left side, but closer to the middle with Reo covering him

You were a bit further on your left, standing a few feet in front of Hiori

Sae made a long pass to whom everybody thought was going to Aiku, but it went past the said male

Shidou jumped forward to headbutt the ball, but it was also out of his reach

Isagi's face froze when the ball that he had thought was aimed at Shidou went past him

And the person behind was...

Your eyes focused on the ball that was speeding your way as you prepared to hit the ball

Hiori quickly tried to run in your direction to stop your shot, but he and everyone else knew he wouldn't make it

'It's over...' thought the majority of the Blue Lock team as a dreadful expression took over most of their faces

You slammed your foot on the ball, making it curve in the direction of the right top corner of the net

"It's not over yet!" Isagi exclaimed as he took a long jump in the direction of the ball and extended his leg once more to intercept it

The ball slammed on his thigh and flew backwards

"You really don't know when to give up, do you?" You gave Isagi a large grin

"The moment you score is when I drop dead" he smirked as the two of you began running
