"finally some peace" you laid even deeper in the waters of the tub you were in "no Shidou barging in like the maniac he is

"just me and my quiet space" you sigh in relief

"U20 match huh..." you closed your eyes, It was the only thing you had been thinking about since it was announced and you most likely weren't the only one who had been thinking about it

Itoshi Sae himself was taking part in the match which most likely meant he had somewhat found interest in the Blue Lock project

and if he was interested, then most likely were others

"this could be a real boost into the real world if we were to win this match" you pondered "I doubt anybody with a functioning head would ignore a random facility with a bunch of teenagers defeating their countries team"

"this is my best chance to make myself known" you opened your eyes before submerging even deeper into the bath water "then again, I should enjoy this moment cause I know the minute I get back in our room, I won't be able to feel this relaxed anymore"

fatigue took over you as you slowly drifted to sleep in the water

what seemed like a few minutes to you turned into an hour until you finally came back to your senses

"I was lucky not to drown" you sweatdropped at your stupidity as you got out of the hot bath, your body flushed due to the long period of being in heat

you quickly dried and dressed yourself before leaving the bathroom

your mind still wasn't functioning right cause of the temperature you had slept in but you didn't feel like heading back to your room yet, you were still enjoying this peaceful night

you headed to the monitor room with a towel still on your head, drying your hair

"GOOD JOB WITH THE TRYOUTS!" you heard a loud voice cheer as you entered the room

there sat Isagi, Nanase and Hiori high-fiving each other and from Nanase's previous exclamation, you guessed they were congratulating each other for their pass

you decided to quietly turn around and walk out not to disturb their moment but before you could do so, Isagi caught sight of you and called out

"hey Y/N!" he waved with a welcoming smile

"hi Isagi" you turned back so you could face the trio fully

"isagi, y'a know her?" the baby blue-haired male turned to the said male

"yeah! we actually played in the same team during the first selection!" the male exclaimed with a smile

"eh, you played with the highest-ranked player?!" it was the dark-haired male of the trio's turn to question him in amazement

you stood awkwardly on the side as isagi responded to the males' questions

isagi finally turned back to face you once more before motioning for you to sit with them

you came as requested and sat on the opposite side of the trio

"I'll introduce myself again since we didn't get to talk much during the game!" Nanase waved his hand with a bright smile "heya I'm Nanase, a first-year!"

"Y/N, third-year" was all you said

"third-year?! then you're my upperclassman! sorry for the lack of respect miss Y/N!" his eyes seemed to get brighter as he spoke to you

you kind of just stared at the male with an awestruck expression

'with all the freak shows in this facility, seeing someone well-mannered like him is pretty soothing' you gave the male a close-eyed smile before turning to the other male

"Hiori, nice ta meetcha" the male spoke in a blank tone

"so you're also from Kyoto, huh"

"also?" he cocked his head in confusion

"like Karasu from earlier," you specified

"oh, him" isagi's eyes blanked at the memory of the male "I've been meaning to ask actually, did you know Karasu before the match?"

"kinda, me and Shidou played him during the second selection" you rolled your eyes at the memory

"ya don't seem fond of him" Hiori couldn't help but point out

"yeah, and I heard you calling him a predator during the match!" Nanase chimed in

"oh that? he just has a thing for preying on the weak" you explained, "like back then when I played him, he used my team's weakness which was our other teammate and used him to win our game" you pointed to the bluenette, "he was doing the same with isagi and that's kind of how I came up with that name for him. I think it's pretty fitting"

isagi's face flushed in embarrassment, you had just insulted him, indirectly and probably unconsciously, but you still insulted him

looking at the three conversing with one another (mostly Nanase), they had all brushed the insult aside as it had nothing to do with them

all isagi could do was swallow up his pride and move on

"so how're y'a handlin' being the only girl around?" hiori questioned you whilst changing into a more comfortable position

"bothersome at first but I guess with time I got used to it" you shrugged

"must've been tough taking in you had to go through second selection with that guy Shidou" isagi sweat dropped

"you don't imagine" you recalled the hell you had gone through dealing with that man, never. again.

"I've actually been meaning to ask you something" isagi spoke once more

"yeah go ahead"

"during that last play in the match, when I came between you and shidou, you backed up as if you had known I was there" his expression was serious "are you sure precision is your only ability?"

you sigh at the males question "I mean precision does take being aware of your surroundings so I guess you could say that as well but other than that, that's it"

he hummed not really sounding convinced but not willing to press onto the matter more then he already had

"sorry to cut the conversation short but I've got a match tomorrow so I need some rest" you stood up to leave as they followed in you action

"It was nice to meet you Miss Y/N, I hope we can meet again!" Nanase waved with a bright smile as you couldn't help but smile at the cheerful male

"See y'a later Y/N" the blue-haired male gave you a simple nod

"Good luck on your match and see you later, bye!" Isagi waved

you waved back to the three before turning to walk away, you really liked this trio, they're presence was soothing

too bad you had to go back to the chaos that was set for you

hearing a small growl coming from your stomach, you decided to make a small detour to the cafeteria to get a snack before going back

walking into the place, you heard a loud masculine sound as you turned to the direction of the sound

There sat Nagi on one of the tables with a plate full of food and him laying his head on the table while facing the food

what confused you though was the fact that he was by himself, no Reo around

"eating is such a hassle" sighed the male once more

You walk over to him and sat next to the male as his eyes turned to look at you

"Oh, Y/N"

"Hey Nagi, why're you here by yourself" you questioned "you're always with Reo, it's kinda odd not seeing you together"

"Don't know actually" he sigh tiredly "he's been avoiding me since we started this special training"

"something happened?"

he shrugged at your question "he won't talk to me so I don't know what I did wrong"

you hummed in understanding you weren't getting anywhere so might as well change the subject "so what are you doing"

"eating"

"you call staring at the food eating?"

"I'm hungry but feeding myself is such a hassle" you sigh

"you're even more lazy than you used to be" you sweat dropped

"can you feed me?" the male finally lifted his head off the table

you wordlessly agreed as you picked up his chopsticks along with his noodles and brought it to his face for him to eat

he began eating as no words were shared between the two of you

finally the male finished as you stood up and left to get yourself a small snack

you came back to the male once more laying his head on the table

"now what" you sighed

"I'm too tired and full to get up" he whined

'I feel bad for Reo having to deal with this man child all by himself' you felt a headache from dealing with the male

"I'll bring you to your room, next time you go out to eat, make sure to bring your partner with you" you sighed as you went over to pick the male up

he made himself real comfortable on your back as he wrapped his arms around your neck tightly and leaned down to go back to sleep

'did he get heavier or am I just tired' you could still carry the male but it seemed to be taking more energy than the last time you had done it

you stood outside the cafeteria, waiting for the males direction before realizing the he had fallen asleep

"you do realize that I don't know where your room is" you shook him awake

"down the hall to the left" he mumbled before going back to sleep

you sigh before you started the silent walk to his room

the male snored softly as his white locs tickled your cheek

despite how bothersome the male was, there was no denying his cute behaviour

as you reached his room, you knocked on it instead of barging in and it turning out not to be the right room

a low 'coming' resounded inside as you heard footsteps coming towards the door

the door was opened to reveal Nagi's brown haired teammate, Yukimiya who wasn't wearing his glasses per usual

"oh Nagi and... Y/N!" The male seemed to be woken up by your presence "what are you doing with him?"

"helping him back to his room" you sigh "next to he says he's going to eat accompany him please"

"why's that" he pointed to Nagi's bed before walking back to his

"if it wasn't for me, he probably would've stayed at the cafeteria overnight" you placed the male on his bed before tucking him in "he can't do much by himself"

an 'oh' of recognition came from the male

"you seem to know him pretty well"

"I only know what I've been told and seen" you finished tucking the male in as you straighten up to look at the male

"yeah but I mean for a person you met less than a month ago" he implicated

"I guess since we were in the same building during the first selection" you started walking to the door

"we were all in building 5" he teased

"yeah but I mean my building 5" the two of you finally reached the door "I'm heading back, I still need to sleep for our match tomorrow"

"yeah you'll need to be at your best when we beat you" the male smirked

"whatever you say" without turning to face him, you rose your hand in a wave while the other was in your pocket

on your walk back to your room, you expected your hallway to be filled with the sound of arguing but it was completely silent

as you walked into your room, the place was completely dark and you could see Rin sleeping but no signs of Shidou

alarms rang in your head as you turned to see the male launching at you

you stepped to the side letting the male fall to the ground face first

"j'suis trop fatiguée pour tes délire" you mumble "go to bed"

you walked to your side of the room and immediately slipped into your covers

Within seconds you had already passed out from exhaustion

man you never wanted to wake up
