❝ The story is one where love slipped away before either of them could grasp what they had, and now, years later, life has thrown them back together in the most unexpected way. There's that awkward tension, except now, the stakes are a bit higher.
Will Shubman be able to pick up the pieces of what he broke, or is it too late to fix what's been shattered? With a kid in the middle, who's more like him than she'd care to admit, the question lingers: can they rewrite their story, or are some things better left in the past? ❞

≪ ◦ synopsis ◦ ≫
At 19, Shubman Gill felt like he had the world in the palm of his hand. Cricket wasn't just a game anymore—it was his everything. Every match, every swing of the bat, it all brought him one step closer to the life he'd been dreaming of since he was a kid.
His name was starting to get mentioned by the right people, the kind who could actually make a difference. Coaches were nodding their heads in approval, and even the boys who used to mock him for being the "try-hard" were now pestering him for advice on their swings.
He wasn't just some kid with a bat anymore; he was Shubman Gill, the next big thing. And honestly, it felt pretty good.
But then, there was Siya.
Siya Tripathi wasn't just a girl from school. She was the girl. The one he'd had a crush on since he was what—ten? Eleven? Back when he'd sit three rows behind her in class, staring at the back of her head like a complete idiot, too shy to even ask for a pencil.
Those green, doe-like eyes of hers would sometimes flick up from her books, catching him completely off guard. Every time. Without fail. She didn't have to say a word to turn his brain into mush; she just had to look up.
Siya, for her part, was everything Shubman wasn't. Smart? Check. Calm under pressure? Absolutely. She was the kind of girl who knew what she wanted from life and, even at 18, seemed like she had it all mapped out.
She had the perfect family—a loving mom and dad who adored her, a little brother who practically worshiped her, and a younger sister who, well, was kind of a mystery even to Siya, but family was family.
And then there was Shubman. Her Shubhi. He still made her heart skip a beat, even if he was a little clueless at times.
At 25, Shubman Gill's childhood dreams weren't just dreams anymore. He had made it—really made it. The world called him "The Prince of Cricket," and yeah, the title was a bit much, but you couldn't argue with the stats.
A World Cup, a couple of IPL trophies, and a phone that buzzed non-stop with endorsements and press requests.
He was living a life most people only fantasized about. He had the whole package: the fame, the money, the best friend in Ishan Kishan who was always down for a post-match celebration, no matter how wild. On the surface, it was perfect. Absolutely perfect.
Except for one thing. The one person who should have been there, celebrating with him, wasn't. And it wasn't because life had pulled them apart or circumstances had gotten in the way. No, it was because he'd screwed it up—royally.

"Shubman, ek baar hum bikhar chuke hain, aur jo cheez ek baar toot jaati hai na, usko waisa ka waisa phir se jodna mushkil hota hai. Jo dard humne tab feel kiya tha, woh kabhi puri tarah se chala nahi jaata... kahin na kahin se chubhta hi rehta hai. Tum samajhte ho na? Hum waise kabhi nahi ho sakte jaise pehle the... kitni hi koshish kar lo."
[Shubman, we've broken apart once, and once something shatters, it's difficult to piece it back together the same way. The pain we felt back then never truly goes away... it always lingers somewhere, poking at you. Do you understand? We can never be the way we were before... no matter how hard we try.]

Har din bas yeh sochta hoon ke kaash us din sab kuch alag hota. Main khush hoon, yeh jhoot main khud se bhi bolne ki koshish karta hoon... par tumhari kami har jagah mehsoos hoti hai."
[Siya, you think I'm living without you, that everything's going fine... but the truth is, ever since you left, nothing has been right. Every day, I just wish things had gone differently that day. I try to tell myself I'm happy, but your absence is something I feel everywhere.]
