Afterdeath Pt. 2
"Yeah, and then he just slipped me his number like out of the blue." He told her.
"He did what?!" Kirstie yelled, scaring Mitch a little. "I can't believe that hoe." She rolled her eyes.
Mitch stifled a laugh, "Should I call him?"
"Yes!" She yelled.
"Okay! Calm down!" He pulled his phone out of his pocket.
"I can't wait till he's dead." Kirstie growled.
Mitch eyed her, dialing the guys number. The line rang a few moments before it was picked up.
"Hello? Who is this?" He asked.
"Um, the guy you slipped your number to at Chipotle." Mitch told him.
"Oh, yeah. Scott right?" He asked.
"No.. You never asked me my name." He explained, rolling his eyes.
"Really? Um, oh! I know. You're that brunette guy with the cool tattoos?"
"Uh, yeah." Mitch just went along with it.
"Cool. So, you want to meet up?" He asked.
Kirstie nodded quickly, hitting Mitch's shoulder.
"Yeah, sure. Sounds great. Where at?"
"You can come to my place." He told him.
"Okay. Send me the address. How about in an hour?" Mitch suggested.
"Perfect. Bye." Aiden abruptly ended the call.
Mitch furrowed his brows, "That was weird."
"His hookup date probably showed up." Kirstie crossed her arms over her chest.
"So, have you figured out how you're going to do this?" She asked him.
"Uh.." He scratched the back of his neck, "No, not exactly."
"Mitch, you have to have this perfected. It could go wrong if you don't."
"I know. I'm just terrified of this." He told her.
Kirstie sighed, "Look, I understand how scary it is, but it's the only thing to get me out of here. If you mess up, you will be stuck here. I don't want you to have to go through this." She said quietly.
Mitch's eyes softened as she opened up to him.
"If he tries anything, fight him back. Don't let him force you to do anything." She said, as if she learned from experience.
He nodded, "Alright. I won't."
"Just, be careful." She whispered, moving over to hug him.
Her cold arms wrapped around Mitch's frame, causing chills to rush through him, but he hugged her back nonetheless.
"I gotta go." He sighed. Kirstie nodded, letting go of the hug.
Mitch smiled, waving bye to her as he left the graveyard.

Hesitantly, Mitch knocked on Aiden's door. He waited, rocking back and forth on his feet, nervously. He had no weapons, nothing to defend himself, so he hoped there would be something in this guy's apartment he could use to finish the job.
As soon as the door opened, Mitch knew that Aiden was drunk. He smirked, eyeing him.
"Well, hello." He slurred, grabbing him by the hand, pulling him into the apartment.
"Hi.." Mitch said quietly, looking around the room.
"You look so good." He inched closer to Mitch, starting to kiss his neck.
Mitch pushed him off, backing away from him. Anger flashed over Aiden's face, but he quickly cleared his throat.
"So, you thirsty? I have some beer in the fridge." He told him.
"Um, no thanks. I don't drink." He told him.
"Wow." Aiden mumbled under his breath.
"Is that a problem?" Mitch's tone changed.
"No. Not at all." He eyed Mitch, walking into the kitchen.
While he was gone, Mitch took another look around the room. He looked through a few drawers, not finding anything. As Aiden walked back in, Mitch looked up at the wall, seeing a familiar face.
"Who's that?" He asked, pointing to a picture of him and Kirstie.
"Oh, that's just my sister." Aiden said, brushing it off.
"You kiss your sister?" Mitch raised his eyebrow.
"Uh.. no.." He walked over to where Mitch was standing. "Oh, that one is my ex-girlfriend." He told him.
"What happened to her?" Mitch crossed his arms.
"She uh..just went away one day. You know, stopped calling, stopped showing up. It was weird." He trailed off.
Mitch nodded, "Oh.. that's sad."
"Mhm." He changed the subject quickly. "Tell me about yourself."
"I'm not interesting." He explained.
"Oh, come on. There's got to be something cool about you." He said.
Mitch shrugged, "Not really. I have no friends. My mom died a few years ago from cancer. Uh, I never leave my house."
"You sound boring." Aiden blurted.
"Gee thanks." Mitch rolled his eyes.
"I am getting bored. Do you want to watch a movie or something?" He asked.
"Uh, sure." Mitch forced a smile.
—
They were already 30 minutes into the movie when Mitch felt a hand on his thigh. He grabbed Aiden's hand, pushing it away.
Minutes later, Aiden's hand began to travel lower until he finally reached Mitch crotch. Jumping up, Mitch glared at him.
"Why do you think you can do that?!" He yelled.
Aiden only laughed, standing up. "Come on, baby. Don't be like that."
He grabbed Mitch's arm, pulling him towards him. "Don't touch me!" He jerked his arm away.
Aiden's eyes narrowed as his jaw clenched in anger. "You don't talk to me that way." He growled.
"You don't own me." Mitch spat.
"Maybe not now, but I will soon." He grabbed his arm again, pulling him to the bedroom. Mitch tried to pull away, but Aiden was physically stronger.
He threw him in the bed, hovering over him as he attacked his neck. Mitch pushed him harshly, but he didn't move.
"Get off of me!" He yelled, hitting him in the head so he would quit kissing his neck.
Before he knew it, a loud slap erupted in the room as Aiden hit Mitch across the face. "Shut up!" He yelled. His hands traveled up the back of Mitch's shirt, running up and down his stomach.
Mitch's shirt was now on the floor and Aiden was desperately trying to get his pants off. He kicked his legs around, trying to get out of his hold. His knee collided with Aiden's body- he wasn't sure what part, but it didn't matter. Aiden was no longer holding him down, so he jumped off the bed, running out of the room.
Aiden yelled, chasing after him. Mitch immediately went to the kitchen, searching for a knife. He had looked through many different drawers until he found a giant knife. Perfect.
Aiden rushed into the kitchen, anger written all over his face. When he saw Mitch, he walked up to him, holding his hands out.
"Put the knife down." He told him.
"Back up!" Mitch yelled, holding the knife in between them.
"Oh, come on. Put the knife down and we can have some fun." Aiden tried to persuade him.
"Yeah? Like all the fun you had with Kirstie all those times? When you beat her?!" He said through gritted teeth.
Aiden rolled his eyes, "You don't know what you're talking about." He moved closer to Mitch, slowly.
"I said, back up!" He yelled.
Aiden jumped forward, trying to grab the knife, but only sliced his hand haphazardly.
While he was distracted, Mitch pulled him into a chokehold, pressing the knife to his throat. "How does someone so disgusting as you get to live for so long?" Mitch growled.
Aiden laughed, lowly, trying to get out of Mitch's grip but only failed.
"This is for Kirstie." He whispered in his ear before slicing his throat open, letting him fall to the ground.
All the adrenaline quickly faded when he saw the scene in front of him. He gasped, holding his hand over his mouth, chocking back a sob. I have to get out of here.
He rushed out of the apartment, making his way back to the graveyard. Tears flowed down his cheeks.
He didn't see Kirstie anywhere. Frantically, he called out for her, thinking something went wrong.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw someone walking. He squinted trying to see if it was Kirstie, but couldn't recognize them. He backed up quickly, seeing them running towards him.
"Stop! Stop." They said, holding their hands out.
"Kirstie?" He asked. She nodded, pulling him into a hug. Mitch only sobbed harder as he wrapped his arms around her.
"Hey, hey.. It's okay. Everything is okay now. It worked." She reassured him, rubbing his back.
Once he had finally calmed down, he pulled away from the hug, wiping his eyes. He could now get a better look at her.
"You look different." He told her.
"Good different or bad different?" She joked.
"Great different." He whispered, staring at her.
"Thank you, Mitch." She pushed her hair behind her ear.
He only nodded, the weight of the previous event still on his shoulders. "I can't believe I did that." He shook his head.
"Hey.. you did the right thing. If not, he would have continued to hurt other people. He was sick." She said, in a disgusted tone.
"I guess you're right." He said dryly.
"And now, I can finally do something that makes me happy." Kirstie told him.
"Yeah? And what is that?" Mitch asked.
"Be around you." She smiled.
