Aspen presumed that she would never experience life outside the confines of the enshroud, feculent, and forlorn Isle of the Lost. She presumed she would squander her youth, until she inevitably withered from lack of delirium or perhaps her mother's bunions.

The only things that kept her prevalent was her brother and their squad, though generally her brother. Carlos De Vil was a dazzling light in Aspen's eyes. Her brother meant the world, the moon, and the stars to her. She regularly put him above herself, seizing most, if not all of their mother's drudgery for herself. No matter how often he expresses his disrelish for her tendencies, she has not once regretted it for she desired nothing more than to supply her brother with the necessary tools needed for the promising future that their mother never anticipated for them.

When Aspen, her brother, and their friends are given the opportunity to go to Auradon their parents use this opportunity as their chance to exact their revenge on those who slandered them by demanding them steal Fairy Godmother's wand. Traveling to Auradon — the home of princes and princesses, Aspen expects their plot to be straightforward and facile. That was, until she meant the twist of the century named Lucky Dalmatian.

bout to start calling all my notes 'niyah time' bc i think that sounds adorable and totally me. yes, just like some of my other stories, this one has gone under major revisions because changes needed to be made. but im am just so in love with this book now, aspens character is just ugghh and just wait until you see the beautiful connection aspen & lucky have.
