Chapter Two : Office Date

Bria began to feel as if she'd been asleep for too long, and then when she heard thunder crash, she realized why. She continued laying against her pillows for another minute or two before finally deciding to pull herself out of bed.

Her cat's body brushed against her leg as she stood up, and the fluffy orange cat followed behind her on her path to the bathroom where she'd complete her morning routine-or, afternoon rather since the clock read a little past noon.

Twenty minutes later she walked out of her bathroom with a white towel wrapped around her body, and she grabbed her phone off of the charger before walking to go sit in front of her patio doors.

She had somewhere to be around two, so she figured she'd waste a little time on social media before getting dressed. She was also contemplating making herself something to eat, but ultimately decided to just stop at Chic-Fil-A on her way out.

In the middle of scrolling down her Twitter timeline, Bria remembered she had someone she wanted to see today, which meant she needed to leave her house a little earlier than she'd originally planned.

She went ahead and got dressed, her outfit consisting of distressed high waisted mom jeans, a black Skims tank top, and a black pair of Christian Dior sandals that gave a view of her french tip painted toes. She also accessorized her look with a gray and black Mea Culpa beanie, two Van Cleef bracelets and a dainty necklace that had her name on it.

One of her favorite things to do was to get dressed. She loved finding outfits and she really loved when her whole look came together with a fresh hairdo and a new nail set-which reminded her to go ahead and book self care appointments for next week because she was ready for a new look now.

Anywho, about an hour later Bria pulled in front of Xotic, the club that she frequently worked at. The parking lot had a few cars, but obviously not too many since it was one in the afternoon and people usually didn't start showing up until eight or nine at night.

She rode the elevator to the top floor, and got off to be greeted by a quiet receptionist area-with no receptionist in the room. Paying that no mind, she went to the office in the back and walked inside without knocking.

"You gon' get enough of that, B." A pair of dark brown eyes met hers as she approached his desk, and she ignored his words while leaning over to give him a hug.

"What's good mama?" He kissed her jaw, grabbing her neck to lower her head to be at his level. She smiled at the feeling of him giving her a kiss, to which she returned.

"I'm okay. Why you sitting in the dark Santana?" She pulled his hand from around her neck after their lips separated, chuckling.

"Gotta headache. Niggas been pissing me off all day, that's why ain't nobody up here." He told her, going back to his previous task of counting money.

"You sent them home?" She asked.

"Nah they cleaning up downstairs. Had to find something for them to do."

"Mm. I brought you food. I know you ain't ate yet, here." She sat the bag of Chic-Fil-A in front of him, watching a small smile replace his expression.

"Youn got nothin' else for me to eat?" He leaned back in his seat, and she smiled back at him. That's why he was her favorite. An eater and a trick in one? Could it get any better?

"Not right now boo. I got stuff to do today. Stop being nasty." She made herself comfortable on his desk, and he chuckled, keeping his eyes on her.

"What you gotta do?"

"Business, get you some." She flicked his bottom lip, her smile growing bigger at the sight of him rolling his eyes.

"If that business don't involve me, what you pull up for? 'Cause I just gave you some money the other day." He said, and she playfully scratched behind her head like she didn't know what he was talking about, causing him to shake his head at her antics.

"Nah, gone on." He dodged her kiss after giving her a stack of cash, and she laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck anyway.

"Don't do me like that baby. You know I love you. Thank you." She chuckled, repeatedly kissing his lips until he kissed her back.

"I love you too brat. Quit running through that shit so fast. I'ma start telling yo' ass no." He kissed her bottom lip, and she just continued to smile because both of them knew that was a lie. He never told her no.

"Sure you will," She put the cash in her purse, realizing she needed to go to the bank before she got robbed for all of the cash she carried.

"I'ma call you when I get home so you can come spend the night with me. Take it easy today, okay?" She gave him another kiss, and once he groaned under his breath, she pulled away with a smile.

"I love the fuck out you." His voice rasped, keeping his low eyes locked on hers.

"I love you more. I'll see you later." She pecked his lips twice more, and then smirked once he placed another stack of cash in her hands. She loved her life, and she loved his too.

She and Santana had known each other for almost three years now, but their friendship didn't develop sexually until the last three or four months. She liked having him as one of her best friends but a few feelings surfaced after a drunk night, and well, here they were.

He was probably the only man that she'd met in her adult life that she'd grown a genuine liking to. Dating people hadn't been her thing since she was a teenager, but she made an exception for him. His personality was A1, he was a businessman with his head on straight-most times-and his pockets were full. His boxers were too. He was just her type.

The two of them weren't technically a couple, but they both knew they were stuck together like glue. Bria even tried distancing herself away from him a few weeks ago, but couldn't deny feeling like a piece of her was missing without him. He really was her best friend and one of her favorite people.

One of the main reasons they worked so well together was because of how good both of them were at communicating. They kept nothing a secret from one another and always made sure the other was comfortable with what they had going on. Bria appreciated the fact that he always made sure that she knew he'd forever be her friend before anything else.

Around ten minutes later she was pulling up to the drive thru ATM of Chase, and her phone starting ringing as soon as she typed in her PIN number on the machine.

She looked down to see that Israel was calling her, which made her eyebrows perk in surprise. They hadn't spoke since their 'date' last week, even though Bria attempted to reach out to him through text yesterday to see if he was okay or if maybe she'd done something wrong.

She wasn't upset over the fact that they hadn't talked, mostly because she was one hundred percent sure that he enjoyed the hell out of himself on that date. But he left her message on read yesterday evening, so she figured it was something personal and didn't bother texting again.

"I ain't mean to ignore you Bria. I had a lot going on." He told her once the call connected, genuinely sounding apologetic.

"I didn't even mention it." She chuckled, beginning to load all of the cash that was in her purse into the ATM, stack by stack.

"I know, I'm just saying. It wasn't on purpose.." He paused for a moment, blowing out a slow, seemingly irritated breath before continuing. "I 'preciate you for tryna check on me though."

"You good baby. Everything okay now?"

He didn't answer for a few seconds, and she could hear him irritably sigh again.

"You wanna talk about it?" She followed up with another question, and his side of the line remained quiet for a few more seconds.

"Nah. I'm good. What you doing though? You busy?" He finally spoke again, and Bria had to contemplate on her answer because she actually did have things to do today but she knew if she went to see him he'd possibly give her more money.

"Not at this exact moment, no. I got maybe an hour of time. What you doing?" She returned the question while grabbing her transaction receipt and debit card from the ATM.

"I'm bouta' send you an address. Or you want me to send a driver to get you?"

"Nah boo I'm driving. You can send it."

"Aight let me know when you outside." After a few more words, the call ended and Bria pulled off from the bank.

"Whew, I love dealing with a rich niggaaa," She turned up the radio once her Bluetooth reconnected, singing along with Lady London.

The address that Israel sent her was only about ten minutes away, so she ended up getting there pretty quickly. The building was rather large; definitely bigger than she was expecting. She knew that Israel's family had a successful business, but wow.

She remained in her car until Israel came out, not knowing if his wife had access to his security footage or if any of his employees were on the wife's payroll.

"Wassup mama," Israel's arms wrapped around her after he opened the door for her, and she slid hers around his neck in a hug. She loved that name. It made her melt every time she heard it-from the right men, of course.

"Hey Israel. You missed me?" She chuckled, tightening her grip around him as he kissed her jawline.

"Somethin' like that. C'mon." He picked her up out of her seat, putting her down on her feet seconds later.

She let him grab her hand after locking her car doors, then she followed behind him as he led the way to the side of his building. A well-built security guard was standing near a side door, seemingly waiting on their arrival.

They were then led to what Bria assumed was his office, and he gestured her inside while he remained near the door to talk with the guard.

Bria made herself comfortable on his gray sofa, putting her purse next to her. She was only alone for a few seconds before Israel joined her on the couch.

"Hm," There was now a blunt between his lips, and she looked down to see him holding a piece of paper in his hand for her to grab.

The paper turned out to be a lab report that had his results of sexually transmitted diseases or infections. Everything came back negative, thankfully. Bria had already sent hers to him during their date last week since she'd went to the doctor just two days prior, but Israel hadn't been able to get an appointment until yesterday morning.

Bria knew that most of their arrangement would be sexual, so she wanted to give him a piece of mind-and be given one too-by exchanging test results. Obviously they'd done a little kissing last week, but that was about it. She wanted to make sure he was clean before doing anything else with him-and she was honestly surprised with herself for kissing him before getting his results.

"Clean as a whistle, huh?" She put the paper on the table in front of her, then turned her body to face his.

"Ion even have sex enough to be catching shit." He shrugged.

"I'm not a marriage expert or anything but maybe that's the problem right there." She sarcastically held her hands up in surrender.

"Nah, it's deeper than that. I never really been the type of nigga who needed sex. That's probably why you had me like that at the club; ion do it enough." He chuckled, blowing smoke out of his mouth.

Bria left her sandals on the ground and climbed over to be in his lap, sitting herself sideways on top of him.

"Can I put my feet up here?" She asked, and he nodded his head, watching as she pulled them up on the couch.

"You smell good Bria." He ashed his blunt so that the smoke wouldn't be near her and wouldn't linger on her clothes.

"Thank you. What kinda scent is your favorite?" She curiously asked, needing to up her perfume collection anyway.

A smirk creeped across his face to replace his natural mug, and Bria laughed, already knowing what he was thinking about.

"I'm for real Israel. Stop being nasty." She grabbed his hand once it went between her legs, letting it rest there.

"You ain't even let me say it. Move. I ain't doing nothin'." He moved her hand out of the way, and she playfully rolled her eyes but let him keep it there.

"Your face is healing nice. She did this to you?" Being her usual nosy self, she gently rubbed over the cut underneath his eye.

He just hummed in response, and she figured he didn't want her to press the topic so she didn't. She watched his eyes close as she leaned forward, and his arms wrapped around her waist tighter once she kissed the small bruise near his eyebrow.

Bria then kissed the cut, before placing one last kiss on his cheek. He was so handsome-he had the type of face that she wanted to kiss all over. His face tattoos complimented him nicely, too. She usually wasn't a fan of those.

"Well when you with me, I'll give you a break. We don't even have to do nothing. If you wanna just chill, you can call me." She rubbed over his thick eyebrow, locking on his naturally intense gaze.

"That almost sounded like you cared." He chuckled, reaching over to open the drawer of the table stand next to the sofa, grabbing a few hundred dollar bills out of it to give to her.

"I know what you wit' me for and it don't bother me. You ain't gotta pretend to care to kick it." He held the money out to her, and she took it without hesitation.

"This is only our third time together and you're already pulling the 'nobody cares about me' card. Newsflash buddy, I don't fake kick it with nobody. If I said you can talk to me, then you can talk to me. And if you choose to give me money for talking to you, I'm not gonna decline it. That card don't work with me, pooh."

Israel watched her put the money in her bra, and a smile gradually replaced his expression. She was still so bold with him, he liked that a lot. She wasn't easily intimidated and she knew exactly what she wanted, and how to get it.

His hand wrapped around her neck to pull her closer to him, and she put hers over his as they engaged in a kiss. As it deepened, she turned her body so that she completely straddled his lap, and moved her arms to be around his neck.

Bria's hands then traveled to his face after feeling him suck on her tongue, and she slowly broke the kiss to let her spit drip out on the pink flesh in his mouth. He groaned when her tongue slid across his to pick her spit back up, and after swallowing it, she opened her mouth to show him what she'd done.

"You such a slut," He pulled her face to be near his again, and she smiled as he repeatedly kissed her lips while his low eyes remained on hers.

"I ain't showed you nothing yet." She put her arms back around his neck, feeling one of his hands travel to be on her ass while the other remained on the small of her back.

He didn't get to respond to her because his phone started ringing, and she watched him pull it from his pocket with a small smirk on her face.

"Saved by the bell." She kissed his cheek, seeing his wife's name flashing across the screen. Sometimes it slipped her mind that he was married. Like, that wasn't stopping anything but it just surprised her whenever she remembered.

"Shut up." He rolled his eyes at her, and she smiled, raising up to get out of his lap as he answered the call, an annoyed expression immediately taking over his face.

Bria decided not to eavesdrop as he walked into a back room in his office, and instead leaned over to grab her sandals and put them back on. She took the money out of her bra and put it in her purse, and then began to fix herself up so that she could leave.

She used her phone as a mirror and redid her lip combo, following up with brushing out her long bundles with a wig brush that she kept in her purse. And afterwards, she picked up the few strands of hair that fell from her raw Indian bundles-just in case his cleaning crew didn't do their job well enough.

"You ain't gotta leave Bria." He came back into the main area, and she looked up from fixing the button on her jeans with a chuckle.

"Oh, but I do. I got stuff to do anyway." She looked up at him, her eyes briefly closing after he leaned down to give her another kiss.

"Call me the next time you free, okay? I'll come see you." She wiped her lip gloss off of his lips, watching as he nodded his head, his eyes never leaving hers.

"Awww, baby," She laughed, wrapping her arms around him in a hug at the look on his face, to which he returned.

"Shut up. I'm embarrassed enough." He pulled her closer to him, causing her to laugh again.
