A DESORDEM ESTÁ ALIADA ao caos. Desde cedo, Daphne Armstrong foi ensinada sobre os princípios da pureza do sangue bruxo. Seu destino estava definido, ela seria uma Comensal da Morte, assim como seus pais.

A parceria dos Black com os Armstrong lhes traria sucesso e levaria sua lealdade ao Lorde das Trevas. Ao mesmo tempo em que o caos era instalado em Londres e a Primeira Guerra Bruxa batia a porta, Regulus Black e Daphne Armstrong eram levados a Voldemort e ganhariam sua bênção para serem marido e mulher, assim como sua família planejava desde o princípio.

Contatados para a sua primeira missão como comensais, Black finalmente compreendia sobre o que se tratava os princípios de Lorde Voldemort. Graças a uma memória de Horácio Slughorn, ambos descobriam sobre as Horcruxes, pedaços da alma de seu mestre. Daphne também descobria uma caverna à beira-mar. Finalmente eles poderiam encontrar o primeiro fragmento de alma.

Mas com um voto perpétuo, uma memória e uma profecia, tudo começaria a mudar. A sensação de fuga invadia a mente dos dois jovens, contudo, não havia escolha a não ser ficar e lutar contra a escuridão.
