IT HAD ALMOST BEEN A MONTH SINCE LINNEA LAST SAW HER BOYFRIEND AND DRIVER FRIENDS. but now, she was finally free from school. she would take a gap year now, to get some work experience.

as she and ollie had talked about, she had been in talks with prema. it was looking like she had her job secured, as prema was really happy with her being so interested in working with them.

she would be a social media assistant, helping the media manager take care of all of the prema racing socials. she would start after the summer break in racing terms, and stay with them for the beginning of the 2025 season as well.

other then that, linnea was currently sat in london airport. she would once again, join her boyfriend at his race. this time it would be austria and hopes were not high at all at prema.

she now had her summer break from school so she didn't have problems with that anymore. after austria, she would fly back to england and join them at the british race as well.

"flight to budapest international airport, boarding now. repeat, flight to budapest international airport, boarding now." her gate was called and she quickly made her way over.

she boarded her plane, sitting down in her designated spot. she was sat next to the window, her favorite seat in every plane. the tune of 'invisible string' by taylor swift was echoing through her headphones as a guy sat down next to her.

she didn't really pay him any mind until he spoke to her, "you're beautiful, can i get your snap?" he said, linnea looked at him. "oh uhm, i have a boyfriend." she stated simply, turning back to her phone.

"you're going to austria, he'll never know." the guy pushed, not getting the hint. "dude, i said no. my boyfriend is waiting for me in austria, leave me alone." she stated, clearly annoyed with this dude's audacity.

linnea immediately texted ollie, not at all feeling comfortable with this weirdo next to her.

"what's your name?" the guy asked linnea, who sighed dramatically. "bro, i told you two times that i'm. not. interested." she answered, absolutely done with the man.

"why are you playing hard to get? you're obviously lying about your little fake boyfriend." the guy seemed to get annoyed now too.

"i don't have to play hard to get when you're already hard to want. and i'll facetime my boyfriend right now if you're that adamant." she deadpanned. they dude seemed offended at her first sentence but more intrigued about the second.

"alright, call him then, bitch." linnea ignored the degrading name the guy called her while opening her phone app. she clicked her boyfriends contact, the phone rang two times before he picked up.

"hi darling, what's up?" ollie greeted, he was clearly in a room with more people then just him as it was quite noisy on his side. she disconnected her bluetooth headphones, letting the boy next to her hear him.

"mister 'hard to want' over here, doesn't believe you're real." she deadpanned, turning her phone to the guy next to her. the guys face drained as he saw oliver bearman on the other side of the phone.

"hello. why are you hitting on my girlfriend when she clearly told you she didn't want you?" ollie's face was serious as he spoke to the speechless random next to linnea.

"you're ollie bearman." the guy stated dumbly. "yes, congratulations, you have eyes. now, leave my girl alone." he stated, as the guy obediently nodded. "yeah, sorry bro. didn't know she was your girl."

"even if i didn't have a well-known boyfriend, should've just left me alone." linnea said, turning her phone back to herself. "you lowkey ate him up." she said to her boyfriend, who laughed in response.

"okay, i gotta go now, we're taking off soon i think." the girl said, ollie nodded, "i'll see you in a few hours, bellissima." he smiled. linnea blew a kiss at the screen, bidding him farewell.

after a few boring hours on the plane, she landed in budapest. the prema team had actually sent a car to come pick her up this time, as she was now in ties with them.

linnea walked out of the airport, looking for the car that matched the description she was given. only every single car looked like the description, so she called the phone number she was given. as she was calling, she spotted a man in a prema shirt, standing next to a car that matched the description.

she instantly pressed the red button, slightly jogging up to the guy. "hi! i'm linnea, nice to meet you!" she greeted the guy. "hello miss evermoore, come on." he said kindly as he opened the door for her.

she was kind of surprised by the formality of the situation. "call me linnea or lin please, no need for the formality." she smiled, kind of awkwardly. "alright, i'm julio, nice to meet you as well." he said, smiling at her.

after a short drive to the hotel, linnea thanked julio for driving her and helping her with her suitcase. julio told her it was no problem at all and to have a nice day.

she texted ollie if he could come pick her up at the lobby, he immediately responded saying he'd be down in a second.

she waited for him for a minute or so before he came jogging at her from the elevator. she jumped into her boyfriend's arms. "i missed you so bad, pookie." she told him, latching herself onto him.

"i missed you too, nea." the boy whispered, keeping her body up with his arms under her legs. as the boy let her back down, he gave her a quick kiss on her cheek.

she blushed, following him to the elevator after grabbing her suitcase. he clicked the button for the third floor and the elevator started moving.

when they finally reached the room, ollie let her in first and closed the door behind them. the boy wasted no time, turning her around by the waist and pulling her into him.

she looked up at his face, "calm down bearman, i just got here." she booped his nose and turned away from him teasingly.

"oh, come on! i haven't kissed you in a month! let me have this one?" he begged as the girl turned back to him.

in one quick move, she grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled his face down to hers. of course, the boy quickly melted into the embrace, pulling her back into him.

after a few seconds, linnea pulled away, "there's your kiss, any more suggestions?" she panted. ollie smirked at the question, linnea immediately regretting what she had said.

"i could think of—"

"NO."
