𝐉𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐀 woke up to the early morning sun peaking though the curtains of her bedroom. She turned over on her side, and glanced at the radio alarm, which read six-thirty. Getting out of bed, she walked over to the window and saw people on their morning walks, and getting their daily news papers. After seeing it was going to be a pretty nice day, she walked over to the closet and decided on jeans, a blouse, and black manolo flats.

After Jenna was dressed, and loose curls were added to her beautiful, long brunette hair, she slipped on her cardigan and her shoes, then spritzed some light scented perfume on her pulse points, turned off her light, and walked down the stairs.

In the livingroom, she set her backpack on the couch, then walked to the kitchen, where she found Norma preparing breakfast for her and her father, and her brothers were eating their breakfast

"Good morning." Jenna smiled as she walked over to the fridge and served herself a glass of orange juice.

Norma smiled as she turned around. "Morning sweetheart. You look beautiful. Would you like some breakfast?"

Jenna smiled as she stood at the stove and served herself some breakfast. "Yes." the brunette smiled as she kissed her mother's cheek, then joined her brothers at the table

"Hey sis," Dylan smiled as he set his glass of orange juice down. "You look nice." Andrew said as he bit into his toast

"Thanks." Jenna smiled as she spread strawberry jam on her toast

"Well, it's your first last day." Alex said as he set his coffee cup down. "Are you ready for it?"

"Yes, but a little nervous at the same time." Jenna smiled as she sipped her orange juice then began eating her food.

"No need to be, you're going to be just fine." Dylan reassured

Norma gave her daughter a warm, reassuring smile as she walked to the table with her own plate of food, then sat down beside her husband. "Your brother's right, sweetheart." she said, then began eating her breakfast as well. "So are you still going to play soccer this year, or were you going to try out for another sport?"

Dylan and Andrew finished their breakfast and stood up to put their plate in the sink, then returned to the table. "Well, the girls mentioned something about cheerleading, but I've played soccer for so long." Jenna said

"Well, it never hurts to try something new hon. Besides, I think you will enjoy being on the cheer team with your friends." Alex said, then looked down at his watch. "Well, I've got to head out, but I'll see you three tonight."

"All right." Jenna smiled. "Love you daddy."

"Loce you." Dylan said

"Love you dad." Andrew said

"Love you three too." Alex said as he kissed Jenna's head.

Norma stood up from her chair and embraced her husband. "Love you honey. Please be safe."

"I always am." Alex said as he returned his wife's embrace, then kissed her lips. "I love you too." Alex walked to the foyer, put on his leather jacket, grabbed his keys, then opened the door and closed it behind him.

"You'll have you let us know if you make the cheer team, which I have no doubt in my mind that you will." Dylan said, then looked at his watch. "Drew, you ready? We've gotta go."

Dylan stood up and kissed his mother and sister's cheek, then Andrew followed. "We love you guys! Jenna, have a great first last day." the brothers said as they walked out the door

"Thanks, love you too!" Jenna smiled, then resumed eating her breakfast

Norma stood up and cleaned the kitchen. She glanced over to the table, and noticed her daughter's quiet demeanor. Sitting down at the table, she placed her hand on her daughter's shoulder. "Honey, you're awful quiet. Is everything alright?" 

"Yeah, it's just, do you remember me telling you about my friend, Jimmy? The one I poured my cherry coke on in the movie theatre?" Jenna asked. Norma nodded her head, and urged her daughter to continue. "The other night, when Nic, Ali, and I met Susie and Barb at Golf N' Stuff, I went to the snack bar to buy a drink. While I was at the snack bar, I ran into Jimmy and he bought my coke for me."

"Well that was sweet of him." Norma said 

Jenna sighed as she set her fork down, then turned to face her mother. "Yeah, but I felt something I've never felt before. Jimmy's matured so much over the last couple of years. My palms began to sweat, my heart was beating against my chest." she said

"Sounds to me like you're in love with this boy. Haven't you two been friends for two years?" Norma asked

"Mom, I'm not in love with him. Besides, I want a love like what you and daddy have. I've always wanted that. the way daddy looks at you, it's as if you're the only woman in the world." Jenna said

"Well, from what I've heard, Jimmy looks at you that way." Norma said, setting her coffee cup down

Jenna furrowed her brows as she set her orange juice down. "Where did you hear that?" Jenna asked

"Susan and Barbara." Norma said

"Of course." Jenna chuckled

Norma laughed, then held her daughter's hand in her own. "Don't worry honey. You'll find a love like our's. When you find someone, I know they will give you an epic love story. One for the ages." she said

Jenna smiled at reply, then glanced at the clock. "Well, I guess I better he heading out too. I love you, mom." she smiled as she kissed her mother's cheek.

"Love you too honey." Norma smiled. "Have a wonderful day at school."

"I will."

Jenna pulled into the parking lot, and parked her truck as Elvis Presley's Little Sistet played. As she parked in her parking spot, she saw the Cobra Kais surrounding Johnny's bike, laughing and talking, then she saw the new kid riding in to the parking lot as well.

After turning off the ignition, Jenna checked her mascara, grabbed her book bag from the passenger seat, and then she got out of the car, locking it along the way. She put her keys in her pocket, her book bag over her shoulder and began walking towards the building.

Jenna walked into the office and was immediately greeted by Darlene, the elderly secretary, who comes to all of the school functions. After conversing with Darlene for a few minutes, she left the office and walked to her locker, and grabbed her gym clothes for gym class, and headed to the field.

"Jenna!" Jimmy called as he caught up to the brunette

Jenna turned around and smiled brightly. "Hey Jimmy."

The pair began walking towards the field as Jimmy spoke. "I'm sorry about last night."

Jenna sighed and the two stopped walking completely. "Look, I might not agree with what happened, but there's nothing I can do about it. Besides, it wasn't your fault, it was Johnny's."

"We tried to keep Johnny from going down there, but you know how he gets with Ali." Jimmy said

"Yeah, I think everyone in the valley knows that." Jenna chuckled

"So, I was wondering, if you're not busy later, would you like to get that cherry coke?" Jimmy asked. "My karate practice is over at 4:30, so I can pick you up then."

Jenna smiled in reply, "I can meet you there. How about the diner down the road from Golf N' Stuff?"

"Sure." Jimmy smiled

"Jenna, over here!" Nicki called

Jenna turned to the side, to see Nicki, Susan, and Barbara waving her over. Turning back to Jimmy, she spoke. "Well, I gotta go, but I'll see you later." Jenna stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.

Jimmy blushed, but quickly recovered. "Bye amour." His heart rate shot through the roof, and his palms began to sweat. This girl was something else, she was going to be the death of him.

In the locker rooms, Jenna was lacing up her shoes, Nicki placed her long brunette hair in ponytail, while Susan tucked her shirt into her sweats, while Barbara placed her blonde hair in a ponytail. "Whay did Jimmy say?" Barbara asked as she finished putting her hair in a ponytail

"He apologized for the fight last night, and he offered to by me a cherry coke." Jenna said as she placed her hair in a ponytail, and Susan put on her sunglasses and the four of them walked out of the locker room.

While Susan and Barbara began stretching for the cheer tryouts, Jenna and Nicki, turned their heads head to find Ali and Daniel flirting

"Cheerleaders over here!" the cheer coach called

"Oh, I gotta go." Ali smiled as she gave the ball to daniel

"I'll see you." Daniel smiled

"Okay, bye." Ali smiled as she turned to walk away

"Bye." Daniel said. "Hey, you got a name?"

Ali turned around but continued walking to the cheerleaders. "Ali with an i. Hey what's your name?" she smiled brightly

"Daniel, with an l." Daniel smiled, and Ali laughed

"I'll see you later." Ali laughed happily as she jogged over to the cheerleaders.

"Well, well, well. Looks like you two certainly hit it off." Nicki laughed, and Ali blushed

Jenna, Nicki, Ali and the cheerleaders began doing the cheer routines with Ali leading, as she was the cheer captain. Jenna was next to Ali, and Nicki was on the other side of Jenna, and Susan and Barbara were behind them.

All was going well until Jenna noticed Johnny looking at Bobby, and made the dead motion to him, as the two were watching Daniel. Bobby made an okay gesture, then huddled in a group with Tommy and Jimmy.

Jenna rolled her eyes and shook her head as she and the cheerleaders continued on with the cheer routine. Ali and Nicki did a back handspring, and Jenna did a herky jump ending in the splits. The three watched the Cobras carefully as they began to taunt Daniel, and they slowed their movements.

The coach blew the whistle and Daniel, Bobby, Tommy, and Jimmy took the field with a bunch of other boys who were trying out. Someone passed the ball to Daniel and he started making his way down the field, shuffling the ball through his feet as he went. Bobby slid to the ground, knocking Daniel's legs out from underneath him, but making it look like he was kicking the ball, but Jenna knew otherwise though.

"Have a nice trip?" Bobby mocked. Daniel ran at him and grabbed him by the waist, bringing him to the ground, Daniel got on top of Bobby and punched him in the face. "Hey, nobody hits me! I'm gonna tear your face off!" Bobby yelled as the coach pulled Daniel off of him and pushed him into the crowd. Tommy grabbed Daniel while some another boy grabbed Bobby.

"Kill him, Bobby! Kill him!" Tommy encouraged, holding back a thrashing daniel

"Get out! There's no place on this team for that kind of crap." the coach yelled at Daniel.

"He hooked me, man!" Daniel shouted in defense.

"I said, out of here!" the coach demanded, pointing off the field.

"This school sucks man! It sucks!" Daniel shouted before storming off the field.

Dutch and Johnny were standing on the sidelines mocking him and laughing, and Jenna rolled her eyes as she, Nicki, and Ali slowed their movements. Daniel himself walked away, furious at what happened.

Ali on the other hand, looked lost. Jenna herself wanted to help Daniel, and so did her best friends. This was going to be a long school year.

When lunch rolled around Jenna, Nicki, and Ali were in line, when the blonde looked over her shoulder and saw Daniel. The three girls walked over to the boy, who was standing in line getting his food. "Hi." Ali smiled brightly, standing next to Daniel.

Daniel turned to see Ali and his face lit up. "Hey, Ali with an i, how ya doin'?"

Ali smiled brightly. "Good, Daniel LaRusso, these are my best friends, Jenna Romero, and Nicki Duncan. Girls, this is Daniel LaRusso. Jenna's dad is the sheriff of Los Angeles, while Nicki's dad is the district attorney."

"Hey Jenna and Nicki." Daniel smiled as he shook their hands. "It's a pleasure to meet you both."

"Hey Daniel." Jenna smiled as she shook Daniel's hand. "You as well."

"Hi Daniel." Nicki smiled. "Welcome to the valley."

"You ladies aren't too hungry today?" Daniel asked the two best friends noticing their empty lunch trays.

"No, not really." Ali smiled, and Jenna and Nicki shook their heads no

"Here, have some pie. I made it myself." Daniel said while putting a slice of blueberry pie on their trays.

"Yeah? So how do you like the valley so far?" Ali asked

"It hasn't been dull." Daniel said, referring to the beach fight and the soccer tryouts.

"Was newark dull?" Ali asked, to which Jenna and Nicki looked at her, and the three of them shared a smirk

Daniel looked at ali and furrowed his brows. "How did you know I was from newark?"

Ali smiled sweetly. "I asked."

"Oh really? You three sitting with anybody?" Daniel asked

"Well you it's okay." Ali said meaning she wanted the four of them to sit together

"Sounds great to me, you ladies want some milk?" Daniel asked

"Yeah, thanks." Ali said as Daniel gave them a carton of milk. "Listen, I'm sorry about the soccer try outs."

"Ah, those are the breaks, you know." Daniel said, as the four walked to the cash register to pay for their lunches

"You remember that guy you had trouble with on the beach?" Ali asked

"Oh yeah, king karate?" Daniel asked

"Yeah, that's my ex-boyfriend." Ali said

"Oh, that's good to know." Daniel said and then looked in the air. "I know. I know. You're right." he said while looking in the air, and the girls glanced at each other, then looked back at Daniel.

"What are you doing?" Ali asked

"What's that all that about?" Nicki asked

"Oh, it's this little voice telling me I've gotta be some kind of a yo-yo to be talking to you three right now." Daniel said

"That'll be $2.50." the lunch lady said

"Oh, for all four." Daniel said

"Five even." the cashier said

After paying for their lunches, Jenna, Nicki, and Ali began walking side by side. "It doesn't matter anyway." the blonde smiled

"Why's that?" Daniel questioned

"Because it's over." Ali said

"How over?" Daniel asked

"Weeks." Ali said.

"Weeks? One week? Five weeks? How many weeks is weeks?" Daniel questioned

Jenna, Nicki, Ali, and Daniel reached a vacant table. what they didn't see, was Johnny walking over from the Cobra Kai table with Bobby's blueberry pie. As the girls sat down, Johnny slipped the pie in Daniel's seat, as he sat down. The girls heard Tommy and the Cobras laugh, and Daniel stood up and the girls looked at his blueberry smeared pants.

"Jerk!" Ali spat angrily as she stood up from her seat and held on to the table

"Asshole!" Nicki spat, as she angrily stood up from her seat and held on to the table

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Johnny?!" Jenna angrily spat, standing next to Ali, holding on to the table

"You oughta watch where you sit next time, pal." Johnny said. "Probably your only pair of pants, huh?"

"Oh, that's a new low, even for you, asshole!" Jenna angrily spat

Daniel wiped the blueberry pie off his pants and held it in his hands, then walked over to Johnny. "Don't even think about it, worm" Johnny said

Daniel calmly smeared the mess on Johnny's shirt. This caused mayhem to erupt. The girls were yelling at them to stop, while dozens of boys, including the Cobra Kais, were jumping in to break it up.

At the end of the day, Jenna stood at her locker, placing her books and notebooks inside, when she felt a presence next to her. Turning to her side, she felt those butterflies return when she saw Jimmy leaning on the locker next to her's.

"Hi, Jimmy." Jenna smiled, then it faded as she closed her locker. "You wanna tell me what you and the pack of assholes were doing at soccer try outs and even lunch?"

"Oh, yeah, that." Jimmy said as he ran a hand on the back of his neck. "Soccer tryouts and the lunch incident was Johnny's idea, not our's." 

Jenna scoffed and rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Of course it was. Why am I not surprised?"

"Amour, we're only messing around with him." Jimmy said

Jenna placed her backpack over her shoulder, and heaved a sigh. "Whether you're messing with him or not, all of you need to leave him the fuck alone, got it? believe me, I have no issue telling the others this."

"I promise." Jimmy said

"Look, I'm letting it go, simply because it wasn't you who slipped the pie on his seat." Jenna said

Jimmy smiled as he embraced the brunette. "Thank you amour. So are we still meeting after karate practice?"

"Planned on it." Jenna smiled. "I'll meet you there."

"See you then." Jimmy smiled

"See you then."
