Because this one's mainly about friendhip, nostalgia, and memories and YJHD songs inevitably remind me of friendships, memories and nostalgia.

" And the ball hits the boundary, it's a four, and a century, the first ever century in T20is for Abhishek Sharma!" The commentator's voice echoed.

The crowd broke into cheers, the players stood up, happy, delighted, proud.

But someone appeared the proudest.

As Abhay took off his head gear and held his bat, he smiled seeing Shubman clap and cheer, the widest of grins etched on his face, his dimples definitely making an appearance.

And he wondered if his cheeks hurted.

But they didn't.

Shubman was over the moon.

There couldn't be a happier moment for him, with him being captain for the Zimbabwe series, and with his best-friend scoring his first international century, there couldn't be anything more better than this.

His wicket was taken a few balls later, but as he walked back into the dugouts, the standing ovation that he received yet again made him overwhelmed.

Shubman walked over to him, patting his back, ruffling his hair as he put his arms around him.

" You played awesome! I'm so so happy for you and so very proud of you Abhay!" His voice tinged with pride and delight.

Abhay teared up, putting his arms around him as well.

" How did we grow up so fast? Wasn't it was just yesterday when you were stubbornly insisting on using my bat for the match because it's your good luck charm?" He continued, his voice beginning to grow heavy and Abhishek chuckled.

" Kitne jaldi jaldi bade ho gaye hum." He murmured and Shubman hummed in agreement.

" C'mon go in and rest, you need it."

Abhay nodded, still teary eyed as he walked in.

He ended up calling was his parents first.

" Did you see that?"

" We did! We all did! Amayra's been screaming at the top of her voice for the past fifteen minutes that her Mamu is the best!"

Abhay chuckled as he heard Amarya's ' MAMU IS THE BEST' scream echo in the room.

" We're so proud of you Abhay! We're so so proud of you! You played so well! There couldn't be anything more better than this for us!"

Tears rolled down his cheeks as he nodded his head.

" Crying already aren't you? Even though it's not a facetime, I know you're crying! Rotlu!" Komal teased him.

" Shut up!" He said earning a laugh.

" But it's okay. I love this rotlu brother of mine. And I'm very proud of him. I'm proud enough to declare it to anyone and everyone in the world that he's MY brother!"

" I love you too Di." He murmured, his voice wavering.

" I know. You don't have a choice." She said, her tone light as he chuckled again.

" Mamu se baat karni hai? Lo." He could hear her voice soften as she handed the phone to Amayra.

" Mamu me love you! You best!" She declared and the flow of tears increased.

" I love you too Amayra."

Sensing that he was crying through his heavy voice, the toddler panicked as she burst into tears too.

She simply couldn't understand what made him cry.

Her little mind did not seem to understand that being overwhelmed also led to crying, one could also cry tears of happiness.

All she understood was he was crying, and she hated seeing her favourite person cry.

It took all of them collectively a long time to calm her down and Komal had to put her to sleep, hoping she'd forget the happenings.

He hung up, and Tanvi called.

" Hi! Were you watching the match?"

" Of-course I was sunshine! It's your first T20is! However could I miss it? Not a chance!"

A smile crept up on his lips.

" You did excellent out there Abhi! Your first T20IS, and your first international century! It's such a big achievement at such a young age! I'm so so so proud of you!"

" So proud that she skipped around the house and told everyone that you scored a century." Eshanya chimed and he chuckled, his heart warming and racing when she told him that.

" Wait...how are you in India? Aren't you supposed to be with Yasha?"

" I...uh...no? Who told you that?"

" Eshanya....everyone knows you were with Yashasvi."

" You're mistaken! Sara was with Shubman Bhai-"

" Yeah that was when he was in reserves for the matches in U.S.A. Bhabhi later flew to Turkey with her friends."

" Ugh fine. I'd come for a week. I came back later. I'm flying with him to Zimbabwe." She admitted begrudgingly.

Abhay chuckled yet again and nodded his head.

" Rest! You need it. I'll talk to you later yes? Bye! And you played excellent!"

" Yeah. Thank you. Bye!"

The match ended with India winning, and Abhay insisting on ringing up someone else instead of their family and girls.

" Paaji! Did you watch the match?"

" How could I not? Mere do sher khel rahe hai, ek pehli baar India keliye captain hai, aur ek pehli baar India keliye khel raha hai aur apni pehli century bhi bana li! The two of you give me a party this time!"

The boys chuckled, exchanging glances.

" I can't believe you've grown up so much." He said, his voice tinged with pride and fondness, and slight disbelief.

" Wasn't it just a few days ago when you came to me for training? You were kids! And now, you've grown up."

" We've grown up." Shubman and Abhishek murmured in agreement.

" Damn, I miss fighting with Shubi for his bat."

Shubman laughed,
" You just fought with me asking for my bat you idiot."

" So what? You agreed faster than you would back then!"

" Still the same." Yuvraj smiled.

" I miss Paaji scolding us over our petty fights."

" I miss that too!"

" I miss being a kid." He murmured and Shubman nodded.

" Those were the best days." He agreed.

" Weren't they? So peaceful, so much of fun. Now....we've got the expectations of the world."

" And you'll fulfil them. I believe in you. Both of you. Not all of them can be fulfilled, some are to be ignored, but the ones that you can, you will. You're going great my boys. I'm proud of both of you."

And as he proceeded to tell them where can they improve, memories from the past knocked in, and they spent quite a while basking in the fond nostalgia.
