Chapter 6
Disha's PoV
***
"Hey," He wheezed, he'd run at the speed of light to catch up. I'd run as fast as my unfit body would take me.
"Hi," I mumbled, diverting my gaze to the walls of the elevator.
Just thirty-five seconds with this idiot, Disha, don't fuck it up!
"I need to.. catch.. my... breath-" He coughed a few times, doubling over. It struck me like lightning,
Rishabh was claustrophobic.
"You're an idiot!" The barbing comment escaped my lips before I could stop it, He blinked at me with confusion. Sweat beaded across his forehead, "Rishabh, breath, relax-"
"Tujhe Yaad heh?" He chuckled, running his hand through his hair.
"You fainted when we were playing hide-and-seek, tough to forget." I scoffed, dropping to a crouch to meet his eyes.
"I ain't gonna go talking to you ever again, but I owe you at least this." I hissed under my breath, Rishabh nodded.
"Why'd you run away?"
The question silenced me, the two of us exchanging awkward glances. "It's absolutely none of your business."
"What do you mean?" He blinked a few times, "I'm your friend."
"Really? A Friend? Maybe you should jog your memory of what actually happened." I snapped, rising to my feet as the elevator dinged open. Taking long strides, I couldn't get out of the hotel fast enough. Rishabh Pant was stuck in the elevator because he was on quarantine, a nagging thought reminded me that he was going to have a hard time returning to his room.
I don't speak with traitor's, especially not ones who ratted me out to my father that I was going to leave to Australia to pursue an Science Degree. My phone pinged, and I glanced at it.
"Akash 💖"
A soft smile tugged at my lips, I picked up my pace. Walking out of the hotel, and hopefully, Rishabh Pant's life.

Muahahhaha
Yes, I'm back. Deal with the cliffhangers, there is no choice.
