"What the hell happened, Myra?" Raegan questioned as she placed the tools in her hand gently on the worktable.

"It's Kane. I mean I don't know if it's Kane. It's just easier to blame everything on him." Myra replied, causing Raegan to hum softly.

"Well we all know how much you hate Kane." Raegan replied, a small smile dancing across her lips as she turned back to her tools.

"Yes, you do. Anyway, apparently Sinclair has to make cuts to the engineering team." At the sight of Raegan's panicked face, Myra backtracked. "Of course, the apprentices should be okay, so don't worry about yourself or me. It's just — you know, after Jake Griffin got floated for treason, the engineers have to be reviewed, and if their work isn't up to standard, they get fired."

"Well, you two don't have to worry about that." A voice had cut through Raegan and Myra's conversation. "And how was school, Raegan? Myra?"

"It was the usual, Dad. You know. Everyone avoided me, spending all my free time alone, praying for school to be over so I can come here for the apprenticeship." Raegan replied.

"Same for me, Uncle Mason. I mean school's kind of enjoyable, but mostly due to Raven, who comes to visit during lunch. She's trying to study for the Zero-G exam, and the only place she can study is with me, cause her boyfriend's no help for this kind of stuff." Myra replied, her words causing both Raegan and Mason to smile softly.

"Dad? Are you gonna get fired?" Raegan questioned, causing Mason's small smile to fall off.

"Don't worry about that. Let me handle it, okay?" Mason questioned, sighing softly in relief when Raegan nodded. "You two gonna come here and help me, or are you just gonna continue to talk about depressing stuff?" Mason questioned as he tossed the supplies to the two.

Myra and Raegan looked at each other before grabbing the supplies and walking over towards their project.

"His pulse is thready." Clarke muttered as she looked at her watch as Raegan softly pressed the cloth onto Jasper's forehead.

Jasper groaned in pain, causing Raegan to close her eyes at the familiarity of the sound, while the other prisoners yelled in anger.

          "Go back to sleep!"

          "Quiet."

"Don't listen to them. You're going to make it through this, ok?" Clarke asked softly as she caressed Jasper's face. "Promise."

          "Can he just die already?"

Raegan quickly shot up from where she was seated before making her way to the ladder, about to go down to the lower level and make sure that the delinquents would shut up when Monty grabbed her arm. She shook off his grip, but stopped in her tracks and turned to look at him with a questioning gaze.

"Don't, Raegan. They aren't worth it." Monty muttered as he shook his softly. Raegan stared at Monty for a moment before nodding and taking a seat next to Monty silently.

"I'm going to get clean water. Keep an eye on him." Clarke stated as she stood up and turned to face the two.

"You got it, Griffin. Will do." Raegan murmured, causing Clarke to crack a small smile before she climbed down the ladder. Jasper let out another groan of pain causing the delinquents to grumble in annoyance once more.

"You know, you've got quite the temper." Monty muttered as the two of them watched Jasper somberly.

"I know. It's what got me arrested. If I had listened to my best friend and my dad when they told me everything would be alright, I wouldn't be in this mess." Raegan replied as she played with the necklace sound her neck.

"Your best friend being Myra Ashford?" Monty questioned softly.

Raegan nodded, tears welling up in her eyes before she blinked them away. "I've known her since I was eight. She had been there with me through the worst year of my life, just like I was there for hers."

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

Clarke gently placed a wet rag on one of Jasper's many wounds, eliciting screams of pain from the boy. Raegan shut her eyes at the sound, recalling an incident from her past she would much rather forget.

"Don't you know, my darling? I did this for you."

Raegan shook the thoughts away, not wanting to fall down the rabbithole that happened to be all her traumatizing memories. Her shuddering breath drew the attention of Monty, who looked at Raegan in worry, before she shrugged him off.

"The Grounders cauterized his wound. Saved his life." Clarke muttered.

"Why?" Raegan questioned, tearing her gaze from what she and Monty were working on and placing them onto Jasper's body.

"Saved his life so they could string him up as live bait." Finn replied. "Garden of Eden this ain't."

"This is infected. He could be septic." Clarke muttered.

"What does that mean? Not all of us are skilled in the Medical field." Raegan questioned as she turned her gaze back onto the device she and Monty were making.

"It's a widespread infection that can cause organ failure and can be extremely dangerous if we don't treat it." Clarke answered before asking a question of her own. "Any progress on using the wristbands to contact the Ark?"

Raegan expected Monty to answer, and when he didn't, she turned her gaze to see what Monty was looking at, her gaze softening as she saw him stare at Jasper.

"Monty? Raegan?" Clarke asked, pulling both of them back to reality.

"No." Raegan replied, turning her gaze back to the useless wristbands in front of her.

"No." Raegan replied, turning her gaze back to the useless wristbands in front of her.

"My mother would know what to do." Clarke muttered.

"My father would have an idea of how to communicate with the Ark." Raegan added.

"How's he doing?" Wells asked as he kneeled next to Clarke.

"How does it look like he's doing, Wells?" Clarke retorted.

"Hey, I'm just trying to help." Wells defended.

At the sound of Jasper groaning in pain again and the sight of infected flesh, Clarke pressed her lips together before turning to face Wells. "Right. You want to help? Hold him down."

Finn and Wells gripped Jasper tightly, pinning him down to the ground as Raegan watched Clarke put a blade against the flame, causing Monty to look at her in worry.

"I'm not going to like this, am I?" Monty questioned as he and Raegan exchanged glances.

"I don't think either of us are." Raegan replied.

"Raegan, Monty, I need you guys to hold him down too." Clarke ordered, causing Raegan to shake her head in disagreement.

"No. I can't. I just — I can't." Raegan muttered as Clarke studied her frame before slowly nodding.

"Okay. You don't have to. But Monty, I need you." Clarke replied before Monty sat down next to Finn and Wells, gripping Jasper tightly.

Jasper's screams rang through Raegan's ears as Clarke put the knife against his skin. He began struggling against the grips as Raegan kept her gaze on the device in front of her, in an effort to keep her sanity.

"Hold him still." Clarke ordered. "I need to cut away the infected flesh."

"Stop it! You're killing him!" Octavia yelled as she ran in to check on Jasper, kneeling beside Clarke as she stared at him in worry.

"She's trying to save his life." Finn replied.

"The infected flesh could kill him, Octavia." Raegan explained as she turned back around to face Octavia, who looked up at her in worry.

"She can't save his life. He's as good as dead." Bellamy replied as he climbed the ladder, causing Raegan to scoff softly as she clenched her fist.

Wells sighed as he stood up, moving closer to Bellamy as he stared the former guard down. "Back off."

"Yeah, shut up Blake. If you aren't here to help, then leave." Raegan sneered, standing from where she was seated and crossed her arms over her chest as Bellamy looked her up and down

"We didn't drag him through miles of woods just to let him die." Clarke stated firmly.

"Kid's a goner. If you can't see that, you're deluded." Bellamy replied. "He's making people crazy."

"Sorry if Jasper's an inconvenience to you, but this isn't the Ark. Down here, every life matters." Clarke fumed.

"Take a look at him. He's a lost cause." Bellamy replied.

"Octavia, I've spent my whole life watching my mother heal people. If I say there's hope, there's hope." Clarke muttered in an effort to assure the younger girl.

"This isn't about hope. It's about guts. You don't have the guts to make the hard choices. I do. He's been like this for three days. If he's not better by tomorrow, I'll kill him myself." Bellamy stated.

"Tell me something, Blake. If it was Octavia there instead of Jasper, would you be saying the same thing? Or would you be ordering everyone to help? Think about it." Raegan seethed out.

Bellamy glanced at Raegan for a split second before choosing to ignore her words and walk back to the ladder. "Octavia, let's go."

"I'm staying here." Octavia replied, not taking her eyes off of Jasper. Bellamy shook his head in disappointment before he climbed down the ladder.

"Power-hungry, self-serving jackass. He doesn't care about anyone but himself." Monty muttered, causing Raegan to snicker before he looked at Octavia. "No offense."

Octavia shrugged in response, having nothing else to add in her brother's favor.

"Yeah. Bellamy is all that. But he also happens to be right." Finn muttered, causing both Clarke and Raegan to glare at him.

"Yeah. Bellamy is all that. But he also happens to be right." Finn muttered, causing both Clarke and Raegan to glare at him.

Raegan sobbed softly on her bed, her knees tucked into her chest, and tears streamed down her face. She looked up once she heard the door open, meeting the apologetic gaze of Myra.

"I'm sorry. Uncle Mason told me what happened. He got fired?" Myra questioned as she sat down next to Raegan, wrapping her arms around the Shepherd girl.

"He didn't deserve it, Myra. He didn't deserve it." Raegan replied as she leaned into Myra's arms.

"I know, Raegan. I know." Myra muttered before she bit her lip softly, as though she was unsure before she sighed softly. "Raegan, you can't do something you'll regret."

"What do you mean by that?" Raegan questioned as she pulled away from Myra and looked at her in anger.

"You know what I mean by that." Myra replied as she stared at Raegan with a knowing look.

"You mean Dad told you to tell me that I shouldn't do anything that can get me arrested." Raegan snapped as she turned away from her friend.

"Raegan, don't be like that. You know that the Council will be unforgiving to you, especially with what happened because of your mom." Myra replied softly, causing Raegan to scoff.

"Don't worry, Myra. I won't do anything that can get me arrested." Raegan muttered before she got off of her bed and walked towards the door.

"Raegan. I'm just worried. You and I both know how your temper gets sometimes." Myra replied softly.

"Yeah. I know." Raegan shot back as she left the quarters.

"Raegan!" Myra called out in an effort to stop Raegan, efforts which Raegan ignored.

"I'm sorry, Myra. Sorry, Dad. But I can't let this go." Raegan muttered as she made her way to the mechanic storage closet.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

Raegan climbed down the ladder, grunting softly as she jumped off the last step and planted her feet firmly on the ground. She walked out of the drop ship before her eyes zeroed in on a log more isolated than the others.

She sighed in relief at her luck as she took a seat on the log. Raegan took in a deep breath as she tried to get the sound of Jasper's screams out of her head before she heard a twig snap.

Her eyes snapped to the direction of the sound, glaring at the person who had disrupted her silence. Bellamy Blake just smirked in response as he took a seat next to Raegan.

"What the fuck you want, Blake?" Raegan questioned as she ran a hand through her hair.

"You know, it probably won't kill you to be a little nicer to some people, Spitfire." Bellamy replied, causing Raegan to roll her eyes in annoyance.

"You didn't answer my fucking question." Raegan shot back as she stood back up, ready to go back into the drop ship, before Bellamy grabbed her wrist. She looked at her wrist questioningly before pulling it away from his grip.

"Alright, alright. My answer to your question is that you should come hunting with us." Bellamy replied, causing Raegan to scoff softly.

"Hunting. In a testosterone filled environment. I think I'll pass." Raegan muttered, before walking away.

Bellamy grabbed her arm once more, prompting Raegan to look up at him in anger. He removed his grip at the sight of her rising anger, backing away slowly in a show of peace.

"What I mean to say is, maybe you'll enjoy it. Besides, there aren't going to be a lot of people there anyway." Bellamy explained in an effort to convince Raegan.

"Enjoy it? You think I'm going to enjoy hunting animals and killing animals with egotistical little boys?" Raegan questioned in disbelief. "I'd rather float myself."

"Oh, come on, Spitfire. What's the worst that could happen?" Bellamy replied with a smirk.

"You really think giving me a knife is a good idea?" Raegan questioned before walking back into the drop ship, not wanting to hear his response. She climbed up the ladder and was met with Monty's questioning gaze.

"You okay? What took so long?" Monty questioned softly.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Blake just thought it was a good idea to tell me to go hunting with him." Raegan replied as she glanced at the device on the table.

"Maybe it is a good idea." Monty stated, causing Raegan to turn and face him in shock. "We aren't getting anywhere, and I could probably work up a solution without you, no offense. You also look like you need to get out of here. Some fresh air should do you some good."

"Oh, god. I hate you, Monty." Raegan muttered.

"Yeah, but I'm right." Monty replied.

"Great. Now I have to go tell Blake that I'll go hunting with him and his little boy band. I'm going to look like an idiot." Raegan muttered, not wanting to think about the smirk that would play on Bellamy Blake's lips at her agreement to go hunting with him.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

Raegan carefully watched the black pig move about slowly as it slowly chewed on the grass, completely unaware of the way it was being hunted hungrily. Her eyes trailed over Bellamy's figure and the way he slowly moved towards the animals while keeping a tight grip on his axe. She shook away her thoughts as she tightened the grip on her own knife, still surprised that Bellamy had given her one.

"Shh–Shh–Shh–Shh. She's mine." Bellamy whispered as he took aim, ready to let go of the axe, when the sound of a twig snapping had alerted everyone of the presence of a new arrival. Bellamy swiftly turned around and threw his axe in the direction of the sound, the weapon embedding itself in a tree, narrowly missing a little girl.

Raegan rolled her eyes as she heard the other delinquents run after the pig in a hurry, while she walked towards the little girl with a frown on her face.

"Who the hell are you?" Bellamy questioned as his gaze traveled from the axe to the girl.

"Charlotte." The girl, Charlotte, replied, her stature still rigid from shock.

"I almost killed you." Bellamy stated as he removed his axe from the tree.

"He's very good at that. You know, almost killing people. Not so good at the killing part, though." Raegan interjected, a small smirk of amusement playing at her lips, which only grew once Bellamy glared at her.

"Why aren't you back at camp?" Bellamy questioned as he shot Raegan a glare.

"Well, what with that guy who was dying, I just — I couldn't listen anymore." Charlotte replied.

"There's Grounders out here. It's too dangerous for a little girl" Atom explained as he glanced at Charlotte.

"As much as I hate to say it, he's right." Raegan added with a shrug.

          "I'm not little." Charlotte objected.

"Okay, then." Bellamy replied with a smirk as he reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a knife. "But you can't hunt without a weapon."

Raegan watched as Charlotte took the knife apprehensively and held it up to look at it carefully.

"Ever killed something before?" Bellamy questioned, causing Charlotte to shake her head. "Who knows? Maybe you're good at it."

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

Raegan looked through the closet, smirking softly at her luck once she found what she was looking for. Gasoline and a lighter. The sound of the door opening caused her head to snap up in worry before she quickly moved behind the boxes in an effort to hide herself.

"Raven, I'm just worried about her. I just don't want her to get arrested, I don't think her dad would be able to live with outliving his own daughter. And I don't know what I'd do if I lost my best friend." Myra muttered as both she and Raven rummaged through the supplies.

"Yeah, I know. Same for me. But you can't control her. She's stubborn and she'll be fine. Her anger will blow over. Doesn't it always?" Raven replied before she hummed with satisfaction. "Found what I needed."

"Yeah, I hope you're right." Myra muttered. "If you found what you needed, then we can go?"

Raegan held her breath until she was sure both Myra and Raven were gone before stepping back out into the open. She grabbed a bag and put the container of gasoline and the lighter in it, in an effort to hide what she was doing.

"I'm really sorry, Myra, but I have to do this." Raegan muttered as she made her way to the one place she knew had no guards or people swarming in it at this time of day.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

The sound of the horn and the sight of the yellow fog had sent all of Raegan's survival instincts into overdrive. She began sprinting as fast as she could in an effort to keep the fog behind her at all times.

Turning around to see where the fog was proved to be a fatal mistake. Raegan fell over, the fog nearing her at a dangerous pace, the dangerous substance almost licking her skin if Bellamy hadn't grabbed her arm and pulled her up, both of them running as fast as they could to keep the fog behind them.

"Come on! There are caves this way." Bellamy called out as he grabbed Charlotte's arm and pulled her forward, with Raegan a few steps behind him and Atom a further distance away.

Raegan ran forward, not looking behind to see where Atom was, as she saw Bellamy push Charlote into a cave. Bellamy grabbed her arm and pulled her in, when the sound of Atom yelling caught her attention.

"Bellamy!" Atom called out from inside the fog. Bellamy made the effort to go back out into the fog to find Atom, but abandoned the effort once he began coughing. Raegan took a step towards the entrance of the cave, fighting against Bellamy's grip as he pulled her back.

"He's going to die out there. We have to go back for him." Raegan said as she struggled against Bellamy's tight grip on her arm.

"If we go out there, we're going to die too." Bellamy replied, not letting go of Raegan's arm until the two were safely inside the cave.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

Blood. That was all Raegan could see. There was blood on her hands, on her face, on her clothes. Everywhere. It was everywhere.

All she could hear was the sound of gunshots and screams. The screams which were filled with pain and fear. She could hear people begging for their life, the nine unfortunate souls who were in the locked room with her and her mother.

Fear was the bitter taste that was left on the tip of her tongue. It was the feeling that radiated throughout her body at the sight of her mother pointing a gun at a poor unsuspecting guard and shooting him dead.

Raegan shot awake, fighting the urge to scream, and forcing the bile that crawled up her throat back down. Her gaze shot to Charlotte who didn't have the same level of control she did, and was muttering and screaming in her sleep.

At the sound of Charlotte screaming, Bellamy shot awake and began shaking the young girl awake, in an effort to calm her down.

"Charlotte, wake up." Bellamy said as he carefully shook Charlotte back to reality, the younger girl's breath evening out as she took in deep breaths.

"I'm sorry." Charlotte apologized softly as she slowly sat up.

"Does it happen often?" Bellamy questioned tenderly, frowning once Charlotte sighed. "What are you scared of? You know what? It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is what you do about it."

"But — I'm asleep." Charlotte replied, causing Raegan to press her lips together in amusement.

"Fears are fears. Slay your demons when you're awake, they won't be there to get you when you sleep." Bellamy stated with a small smile.

"Yeah, but — how?" Charlotte questioned softly.

"You can't afford to be weak. Down here, weakness is death, fear is death." Bellamy replied, his words causing Raegan to frown softly. "Let me see that knife I gave you."

Charlotte carefully pulled the knife out, handing it over to Bellamy. He gripped it tightly while giving Charlotte a firm look.

"Now, when you feel afraid, you hold tight to that knife and you say, 'screw you. I'm not afraid.'" Bellamy explained before handing the knife back to Charlotte.

"Screw you. I'm not afraid." Charlotte repeated timidly. Bellamy gave her a look which caused her to sigh before repeating the words again, this time with more strength. "Screw you. I'm not afraid."

"Slay your demons, kid. Then you'll be able to sleep." Bellamy replied with a smile before turning back around, meeting Raegan's gaze. "You okay?"

"I never should've come with you." Raegan muttered before lying back down on her side, her face away from Bellamy.

"Hate me all you want, Spitfire. But to survive down here, we can't be holding grudges." Bellamy replied softly.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

Raegan poured the gasoline all over the room, thankful that no one was there. Once she had emptied the container, she pulled out the lighter. It took her a couple tries but she was able to light it. One the flame appeared, she took a step back before tossing it into the gasoline covered room.

She took a deep breath as she looked at the raging fire before running away from the room. The Council would regret firing her dad. Raegan was brought back to reality as she bumped into a guard who grabbed her shoulders in an effort to stabilize her.

"You okay?" The guard questioned as he looked over Raegan, who nodded. He looked at the burning room before looking back at Raegan. "I'm Bellamy. Were you in that room over there?"

"No. I was on my way there when I saw the fire. Thought I'd alert one of the guards." Raegan lied as her eyes glanced from the fire to Bellamy's face.

"I'm sure you were." Bellamy muttered sarcastically as he looked back at the fire before he tightened his grip on Raegan's arm. "But I really don't think that it's true."

Raegan struggled against Bellamy's grip as he pulled out his walkie–talkie.

"Lieutenant Shumway, it's Cadet Blake. There is a fire in Section Seven and I caught the girl who started it."

"Very good cadet. I'll send a couple others over there. Keep a tight grip on her." Lieutenant Shumway replied, his voice breaking off through the radio.

"I didn't set that damn fire." Raegan said angrily. "I didn't set it."

"You're the only person here. No one else could have done it." Bellamy replied.

"I didn't do it." Raegan muttered.

"Don't lie." Bellamy said as he tightened his grip on her arm. "You're not getting out of here."

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

"It's all clear." Bellamy called out, causing Raegan to push against him and exit the cave, glad to see the sun and the trees again.

"Where's Atom?" Raegan questioned as she pointed in the direction his screams had come from yesterday. "He was right there."

"Anybody out there?" Bellamy yelled in an effort to find any of the other people who had gone hunting with them. "Jones?"

"We're here!" Jones called out, causing Raegan to go ahead in the direction of his voice, turning around to make sure Bellamy and Charlotte were coming as well.

"Lost you in the stew. Where'd you go?" Bellamy questioned as Jones came into their view.

"Made it to a cave down there." Jones replied, pointing in the direction he and the rest of his group had come from."The hell was that?"

"I don't know." Bellamy replied before looking around, realizing there was one person missing. "Where's Atom?"

Jones shrugged, causing Raegan to scoff. At her action, everyone turned to look at her to which she glared.

"So you're telling me that we left him out there to die and now he's missing? That's great." Raegan drawled out as she glared at Bellamy, much to his annoyance.

"If we went back for him, we would've died too." Bellamy shot back, his voice rough and his eyes staring down at Raegan's.

"Yeah, maybe. Maybe not. But I do know we should've tried." Raegan replied, her voice filled with annoyance.

Bellamy opened his mouth to retort, although his response died on his tongue at the sound of Charlotte screaming. He ran towards the young girl, stopping in horror at what he saw.

"What the hell happened?" Raegan questioned, although once she saw Atom's immobile but unfortunately alive body, any witty response she had died down. "Oh, my god."

"Son of a bitch. Atom." Bellamy muttered as he knelt next to Atom's body, joined by Raegan who stared down at him in horror.

"The fog was acidic. Definitely toxic." Raegan murmured as she took in Atom's injuries.

"Kill me. Kill me." Atom's voice choked out as he begged Bellamy to end his life. "I — can't — breathe."

Raegan watched as Charlotte pulled out the knife from her pocket and handed it to Bellamy gingerly.

"Don't be afraid." Charlotte whispered softly.

"Go back to camp." Bellamy ordered the rest of the group who had joined them. "Charlotte, you too."

Charlotte nodded softly before complying with Bellamy's words. Bellamy turned to look at Raegan who was frozen in horror.

"You too, Spitfire. You should head back." Bellamy whispered to which Raegan shook her head. Bellamy nodded and leaned down with the knife in his hand, watching as Atom begged for his life to be ended, but unable to comply.

"Clarke." Raegan muttered at the sight of the familiar blonde. Clarke walked towards Atom and placed down her back before kneeling across from Bellamy, staring at Atom in horror.

"I heard screams." Clarke muttered as she kept her gaze on Atom.

"Charlotte found him." Raegan explained softly.

"I sent her back to camp." Bellamy added.

Clarke's eyes trailed down Atom's body before shaking her head, indicating he had no chance of survival. She ran her hand through Atom's hair softly as she smiled. "Okay. I'm going to help you, all right?"

Clarke started to hum as she grabbed the knife from Bellamy's hand. Raegan, realizing what Clarke was going to do, turned around and put her back to Atom, Bellamy, and Clarke while she covered her mouth and let out silent sobs.

"We got to get to Jasper. I'll need boiled water to make the medicine." Clarke muttered to Finn, Wells, Bellamy and Raegan.

"Get Clarke whatever she needs." Bellamy ordered, causing Raegan to turn around.

"So now you want to save Jasper's life." Raegan shot out, causing Bellamy to walk towards her in anger.

He leaned in close to her face, angling his head so that his lips were near Raegan's ear. "You are getting on my last nerve today, Spitfire. I suggest you don't try to push my limits today."

Raegan scoffed at his words but complied nonetheless, choosing to jog and catch up to Clarke and Finn.

"It's about time. They're gonna kill Jasper." Octavia explained to Clarke as she came out of the drop ship. "Did you get the medicine?"

"Yeah. I — I got it. Come on. Let's go talk." Clarke said as she grabbed Octavia's arm in an effort to pull her back into the drop ship, and away from Atom's covered body. Octavia pulled away from Clarke's grip and made her way towards the covered body in confusion. Raegan tried to stop her, but Octavia swatted her hands away.

"Octavia, just stay there. Please, stay back." Bellamy begged as he tried to keep his sister back.

"Stop." Octavia muttered as she pushed Bellamy's arms away. She bent down next to the covered body and pulled off the jacket which was covering the face of the person.

          "Atom." Octavia muttered in horror.

"There's nothing I could do." Bellamy started to say in an effort to explain himself to his sister.

"Don't." Octavia said as she held up her hand with tears streaming down her face. She placed the jacket back over Atom's face before pushing Bellamy away and made her way towards the drop ship.

"Octavia." Raegan muttered as she shot Bellamy a glance before following the younger girl back into the drop ship. The sight of Octavia crying softened Raegan's eyes the slightest amount as she sat down next to her. "Are you okay?"

"I really liked him, you know. I really did." Octavia explained as she wiped away her tears. "Sorry if I'm unloading all of this on you."

Raegan shook her head. "It's fine. Don't worry about it."

"I thought you hated my brother." Octavia muttered softly.

"Your brother. You aren't your brother. I can't place you both in the same category." Raegan replied, causing Octavia to laugh softly.

The fire had been put out and more members of the Guard had swarmed the Sector, most of them recognizing Raegan and giving her dirty looks.

Raegan watched as Lieutenant Shumway appeared in her field of vision, struggling against Bellamy's grip at the sight of the man who had made it his life's mission to arrest her.

"Stop struggling. They're going to shock lash you." Bellamy muttered, his words soft enough so that no one other than Raegan would hear them.

"Like you would care." Raegan retorted, her voice barely above a whisper. The two of them quieted their words as Shumway approached them.

"Raegan Shepherd. I arrested your mother. Now I get to arrest you." Shumway murmured as he smirked softly, taking in Raegan's look of anger. His words caused her to struggle against Bellamy's grip, which he tightened as she fought against it.

"You're a sick son of a bitch. Go float yourself, asshole." Raegan retorted, causing Shumway to glare at her.

"Raegan Shepherd, you are under arrest for arson." Shumway stated as he nodded to another guard to bind her wrists.

At his words, Raegan began struggling against the new guard's grip, which happened to be tighter than Bellamy's.

"Cadet Blake, shock lash her." Shumway ordered, causing Raegan's eyes to widen in fear.

"Sir?" Bellamy questioned as he glanced from Raegan's fearful frame to Shumway's smug one.

"I said to shock lash her, Blake." Shumway repeated, his tone indicating annoyance. Bellamy nodded solemnly and took out his shock lash baton.

"No. Please don't. I won't struggle. Please don't." Raegan protested as she watched the electricity on the baton carefully.

Bellamy glanced at her apologetically before he pressed the shock lash baton to Raegan's back, eliciting a scream of pain from the girl, before she fell to the ground, her chest heaving in pain.

"Again." Shumway ordered, causing Bellamy's eyes to widen in shock before nodding.

Bellamy pressed the shock lash baton once more against Raegan's back, eliciting another scream from her. Bellamy and the other guard grabbed her arms and pulled her up, ready to drag her to the Sky Box and lock her up.

The sound of Myra and Mason arguing with Shumway had brought Raegan back to reality.

"What the hell is this? What's going on?" Mason questioned, taking in his daughter's weak figure being dragged by two guards. "Why are you arresting her?"

"Mason, I suggest you get out of my face before I decide to arrest you." Shumway stated calmly, prompting Myra to pull Mason back.

"Screw you." Myra muttered before turning to face Mason. "You can't do anything, they'll float you."

"The hell I can't. She's my daughter." Mason replied, his words bitter as he stared at Raegan sadly.

"Your daughter set a room of the Ark on fire, burning through one month's supply of oxygen. Unless you want to be floated today, I suggest you step out of my way." Shumway ordered as both Myra and Mason's eyes widened at the thinly veiled threat.

"Dad? Myra?" Raegan called out softly causing both their heads to turn towards her, relief flooding both their faces.

"Are you okay?" Mason questioned, trying to take in his daughter's expression and decipher it.

"Don't do anything that you'll regret. I don't want you to get floated." Raegan's voice was barely above a whisper but it rang clearly through Myra and Mason's ears. "Promise me."

"Rae, I promise." Mason replied, tears threatening to stream down his face.

As soon as the words left Mason's lips, Shumway gestured for the two guards holding Raegan to take her to Lockup.

Raegan watched as Clarke put the cup filled with the tea that was made with the seaweed medicine to Jasper's lips. Raegan turned to face Monty who was looking at Jasper with worry.

"Don't worry, Monty. It'll help." Raegan assured Monty, who nodded softly at her words. "It has to."

"I'm really sorry about Atom." Clarke whispered to Octavia, who was caressing Jasper's face softly.

"I guess we're gonna have to get used to people dying down here, aren't we?" Octavia replied. "But not you. You hear me? You're not allowed to die."

Raegan smiled softly at Octavia's words and actions, finding them endearing and slightly glad that she hadn't lost her innocence to the violence on Earth.

"I have one question, Raegan. How did you end up going hunting with Bellamy?" Finn questioned as he took the bottle of alcohol out of his pack.

"Don't even ask. I just went because Monty told me too, and it turned out to be a big mistake, like I said it would." Raegan replied as she leaned over Monty and grabbed the bottle from Finn. She scrunched her nose as she took a gulp, coughing as she did so before she handed the bottle to Monty.

"Smooth." Monty coughed out as he handed the bottle to Octavia who she took a big gulp.

"Disgusting. Love it." Octavia muttered before she gave it back to Finn. As Finn was about to take a sip of the alcohol, a familiar voice took their attention off of the bottle in their hands.

"Can I, uh, get a hit of that?" Jasper questioned, alerting the group that he was finally awake.

"Jasper!" Monty exclaimed as the group rushed towards him.

"Let's start with the soft stuff." Finn stated as he put the bottle down and picked up a canteen of water. Finn opened the canteen and put it to Jasper's lip, who drank a few sips.

"Drink more." Raegan urged with a small smile.

"Welcome back, buddy." Finn muttered with a smile.

Jasper held his arm out to Monty who took it with a smile. "Was that a dream or did I get speared?"

"You'll have a very impressive scar to prove it." Clarke said with a smile as she climbed up the ladder and bent down next to Jasper.

"My savior." Jasper noted happily, causing everyone to laugh softly at his words.

"Thank you for not dying. I don't think I could have taken it today." Clarke told Jasper.

"I'll try not to die tomorrow, too, if that's cool." Jasper replied, again eliciting laughs from everyone.

"How are things between you and Wells now?" Raegan questioned softly.

"Better. But I found out that my mom was the reason my dad was floated so there's also that." Clarke answered.

"Oh, hello." Jasper said to Octavia with a small smile, who smiled back.

As Jasper fell asleep, Raegan and Monty quietly discussed exactly how they were planning on establishing communication with the Ark, for both of their survival.
