MELANIE TURNED MARISOL AROUND in the wheely chair and showed her the new blue streaks in her hair. Marisol's lips curled into a big grin as she admired the vibrant blue color mixed with her natural hair. She turned to Melanie, her eyes sparkling with excitement, and gave her a side hug.

"Thank you so much, Mel! He's gonna love it. How much do I need to pay you?" Marisol asked gently, pushing herself up from the chair.

Melanie waved her off with a warm smile. "No need. This is on me. You're my son's best friend and my nephew's girlfriend! Now go show off your new hair," Melanie said, squeezing Marisol's cheeks affectionately.

Marisol giggled, feeling a rush of gratitude and excitement. She pushed open the salon door, and her hair blew in the wind, the blue streaks shimmering in the sunlight. She walked over to her car, unlocked it, and slid into the driver's seat. As she started the engine, her heart pounded with anticipation of Eli's reaction.

The drive to Eli's house felt longer than usual as she imagined his surprise and hoped he would love the new look. When she finally arrived, she noticed a commotion inside the house, which made her eyebrows furrow with concern. She stepped out of the car and approached the front door, her curiosity growing.

"Eli? Peter?" Marisol called out as she stepped inside, her voice echoing slightly in the hallway. Peter came around the corner, his eyes widening in surprise before he gasped dramatically.

"Marisol! Madam," Peter said, bowing with a flourish, his playful demeanor bringing a smile to her face.

Marisol chuckled lightly, her nerves easing a bit. "Where's Eli? I thought he was gonna be here," she asked, a slight frown forming on her lips.

Peter grinned mischievously, clearly enjoying his role as the messenger. "He told me to tell you to meet him at Miyagi-Do! He has something planned for you," he exclaimed, poking Marisol in the side.

Marisol's heart skipped a beat, a mixture of excitement and curiosity flooding her. As she turned to leave, Peter's eyes caught the blue streaks in her hair, and he gasped again.

"Madam Marisol! Your hair!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with awe.

Marisol put a finger to her lips and winked. "Shhh! It's a surprise," she said, smiling before heading out of the house.

The drive to Miyagi-Do was filled with anticipation. Marisol's mind raced with thoughts of what Eli might have planned and how he would react to her new look. She parked her car and took a deep breath before stepping out. The dojo looked peaceful in the afternoon light, and she felt a mix of calm and excitement as she approached.

As she walked into the dojo's courtyard, she could see Eli waiting for her near the bonsai trees, a look of anticipation on his face. Her heart swelled with affection as she got closer, the blue streaks in her hair catching the light and shimmering.

"Eli!" she called out, her voice full of excitement.

Eli turned, his eyes widening as he saw her. "Marisol!?" he said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. He walked up to her, his eyes fixed on her hair.

Marisol blushed slightly, feeling both shy and proud. "Do you not like it? I wanted to get blue streaks to match your mohawk. Is it too much?" she explained, running a hand through her hair.

Eli grinned, reaching out to gently touch a blue streak. "No, no... it's not that! I love it.. I just forgot to give you something.. I've been meaning to give it to you." he said, his voice sincere.

Marisol's heart fluttered at his words. "Eli, you didn't need to get me anything..." she trailed off as Eli brought out a delicate necklace from his pocket. It had a shooting star pendant, and Marisol's eyes glimmered at the sight of it.

"Oh my god, it's so pretty," Marisol gaped, her hand covering her mouth in surprise.

Eli walked up behind her, gently placing the necklace around her neck. Marisol felt a surge of emotion as the cool metal touched her skin. She turned around to face him, her eyes shining with gratitude and affection. Without a word, she kissed him passionately, pouring all her feelings into that one kiss. When she pulled away, she looked deep into his eyes.

"Thank you, Eli. It's so pretty," she said, squeezing his hand gently.

Eli grinned, his eyes reflecting his happiness. "Good. I'm glad you like it," he chuckled softly, feeling relieved and pleased that she loved the gift.

"So, what is this surprise?" Marisol asked with a grin, nudging him playfully in the side.

Eli smiled brightly and took her hand, leading her further into Miyagi-Do. As they walked, Marisol noticed the soft glow of fairy lights strung around the dojo, creating a magical atmosphere. She gasped, her eyes wide with awe.

"Is this a date?" Marisol asked, her voice filled with wonder as she took in the beautifully decorated space.

Eli nodded, his smile growing wider. "Yeah, I wanted to do something special for you," he said, his voice soft and sincere.

Marisol's heart swelled with affection. "Eli, this is amazing. Thank you," she said, her eyes tearing up slightly from the overwhelming emotions.

They walked hand in hand under the twinkling lights, and Eli led her to a small table set up with candles and a simple but elegant dinner. The table was covered with a crisp white tablecloth, and a vase with fresh flowers added a touch of romance. The atmosphere was perfect, intimate, and filled with the warmth of their connection.

As they sat down, Eli looked at Marisol, his eyes filled with adoration. "I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me," he said quietly, reaching across the table to hold her hand.

Marisol smiled, feeling a deep sense of love and gratitude. "You mean a lot to me too, Eli. This is perfect," she replied, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

Eli had prepared a simple but thoughtful meal. They started with a fresh salad, the crisp greens and colorful vegetables reflecting the care he had put into planning the evening. Marisol marveled at the effort Eli had gone to, and her heart melted even more.

They talked and laughed as they enjoyed their dinner. Eli shared stories from his childhood, making Marisol giggle with his funny anecdotes. She told him about her latest adventures, including the surprise makeover from Melanie. Eli couldn't take his eyes off her, mesmerized by the way her blue-streaked hair glowed under the fairy lights.

After dinner, Eli stood up and extended his hand to Marisol. "Come with me, there's one more thing," he said, a mischievous glint in his eye.

Marisol took his hand, her curiosity piqued. Eli led her to a spot under a large tree where a blanket was spread out. They lay down together, looking up at the stars twinkling above them. The cool night air was refreshing, and the sound of crickets created a soothing backdrop.

Eli turned to Marisol, his expression serious but tender. "Marisol, being with you has made me realize how special life can be. You've brought so much joy and light into my life," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

Marisol felt tears prickling at the corners of her eyes. "Eli, you've done the same for me. I never knew I could feel this happy and loved," she replied, her voice trembling with emotion.

They shared a deep, lingering kiss, sealing the moment with their love. As they lay there, holding each other, Marisol knew that this night would be etched in her memory forever. The combination of Eli's thoughtful gestures, the enchanting setting, and their undeniable connection made it the perfect night.

When it was time to leave, they packed up and headed back to the car. Eli walked Marisol to her door, their fingers intertwined. "Thank you for tonight, Eli. It was magical," Marisol said, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him once more.

"Anytime, Marisol. I love you," Eli whispered, his eyes shining with sincerity.

"I love you too, Eli," Marisol replied, her heart full.

As she watched him drive away, she touched the shooting star necklace around her neck, feeling the weight of his love and the promise of more beautiful moments to come.

When Marisol got home, she heard her dad yelling. "Mila Cervantes! Open this door, right now!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the house. Marisol's heart raced as she dashed upstairs. Her dad was pounding on Mila's bedroom door, his face flushed with anger and concern. Loud rock music blared from the other side of the door, making it hard to think.

"What's going on?" Marisol asked, her voice filled with worry.

George looked over at his eldest daughter, his eyes wide with frustration. "Mila was caught spray painting on the street. She wrote 'Cobra Kai For Life.' I bailed her out, and I tried to talk to her, but she slammed her door and started blasting music. I thought she was Miyagi-Do, and Cobra Kai's gone now," he ranted, shaking his head in disbelief.

Marisol's eyebrows raised in surprise. This didn't make any sense. "I'll talk to her," she said, her voice firm but gentle.

George nodded and went downstairs, leaving Marisol to handle the situation. She took a deep breath and knocked lightly on the door. "Mila, please let me in, it's Marisol," she shouted over the music.

The music was turned down, and a moment later, the door creaked open. Mila stood there with a blank expression, her eyes dull. "What do you want?" Mila retorted, her tone cold and distant.

Marisol was taken aback by her sister's hostility. "What is your problem? Ever since Cobra Kai shut down, you've been in this funk," Marisol asked, stepping into the room.

Mila rolled her eyes and shook her head, walking further into her room. Marisol followed her, concern etched on her face. "Mila, talk to me, please. I'm worried about you," Marisol said, sitting down on Mila's bed and reaching out to touch her sister's cheek.

Mila slapped her hand away. "Can you just go away, please?" she retorted, her eyes flashing with anger.

Marisol stared at her in disbelief. "Do you have to do this whole sad girl thing right now? I wanna talk," she snapped, frustration creeping into her voice.

Mila scowled at her. Marisol sighed and got up from the bed, her eyes scanning the room. She saw a vape pen sitting on Mila's nightstand, and her eyes widened in shock. She grabbed it, holding it up. "Hey! Give it back!" Mila shouted, trying to snatch it from her.

Marisol pushed her back gently. "No, Mila! Enough! You're fourteen years old and about to enter high school. I'm not gonna have you act like this! Did something happen? I found you in Cobra Kai in a corner curled up in a ball when we were taking Cobra Kai down! And the past few weeks, you've been off with these troubled girls doing god knows what, and today you were caught graffiting? Mila, what happened? Did someone hurt you at Cobra Kai when everything was happening? What you told me was there were too many people and you were just having a panic attack, now I'm not sure. Why did you spray paint 'Cobra Kai For Life'? Talk to me!" Marisol ranted, her voice rising with emotion.

Mila stared at her, her eyes filled with defiance. She grabbed the vape pen from Marisol's hands. "Get out!" she shouted, her voice shaking.

Marisol stared at her in disbelief before turning and slamming Mila's bedroom door. The music started blasting again, filling the house with its loud, angry sound. Marisol walked downstairs to find her dad and Natasha with worried looks on their faces.

"Did you find out?" George asked, his voice tense.

Marisol shook her head, her expression grim. "Little dickhead entered her teenage years," she grumbled, heading to the kitchen.

Natasha blew a raspberry, her thick Russian accent adding a touch of humor to the tense situation. "Oh, how fun," she commented, trying to lighten the mood.

Marisol opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, twisting the cap off with a sigh. "She's completely shut down," she said, taking a sip. "She's hanging out with the wrong crowd, acting out... I don't know what to do."

George ran a hand through his hair, looking older than his years. "She's just a kid, Marisol. Maybe we need to get her some help. A therapist, like you suggested."

Marisol nodded slowly. "Yeah, maybe that's what she needs. Someone who can get through to her."

Natasha placed a comforting hand on Marisol's shoulder. "We will get through this. Family sticks together, no matter what," she said softly.

Marisol nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope. "You're right. We'll figure this out. For Mila."
