Nandini couldn't sleep whole night after the realization she had. She was determined to find out what's actually going behind her back. She was awake all the while. So, she came to office earlier than usual. When she reached office, she found Manik already there. She wasn't expecting him so soon.

Manik heard the sound of the door opening. He moved his head up and turned towards that side. He found Nandini coming in. He looked into Nandini's eyes and he didn't miss her red eyes. Manik could guess easily that she didn't sleep whole night.

Manik looked at her worriedly and the hidden concern in him raised once again. "Didn't you sleep at night?"

Nandini looked at him for a while before covering her face with a stern expression. She didn't want to fall weak once again in front of him. "That's none of your concern."

Manik also went back to his sarcastic mode and cursed himself mentally for behaving soft with her whereas he had to complete opposite. "Hmm... Right. Why should I be concerned about you? After all, there are more people to be worried for you. By the way I heard that you have again patched up with Aryaman."

Nandini looked up to his face with shocked look. "Who said this to you?"

"Aryaman himself told me. In the morning, when I came to office, I got this breaking news."

Nandini composed herself and looked away. "Yes, you heard it right. Aryaman can never misunderstand me. We talked and sorted the matter."

Manik laughed raising his eyebrows. "Hahahaha... Are you sure?"

"It's waste of time to talk to you." Nandini uttered gritting her teeth.

Then Nandini left from the cabin angrily. She was going through the corridor of office while muttering curses to Manik. She was in front Aryaman's cabin when she heard her Rockey's voice from Aryaman's cabin. She frowned seeing him in Aryaman's cabin so early in the morning. She stood there to hear what they were talking about. Though she was not liking doing this at all but she was really curious to know what they were talking about.

"Uncle, how many days more I need to continue this drama? I am not at all interested in doing this anymore. I am fed up running behind this girl like a fool. She behaves as if I am not a human." It was Aryaman. Nandini got more curious. She went a little ahead to hear everything clearly.

"I had made contract with you that you will marry Nandini. Now you are backing off giving these lame excuse." Now it was her uncle's voice who was sounding angry.

Nandini was shocked hearing that her uncle made a deal of her marriage with Aryaman. She felt her own ears were betraying her.

But why?

"No, I am not backing off. Now Nandini has nothing technically. All her properties are taken by Manik. Actually she herself gave him everything. Then why will I marry her? She has nothing now. She is just looking after her sister's share. We can call her 'caretaker' nothing more than that.

When I had made the contract with you that time she had everything. Now for how many days this fake drama of marriage and love will continue? Now you also won't get anything by moving Nandini from here. Because she has nothing. Whatever she has is of Nisha's. I don't want to be a part of this anymore. I can't marry Nandini."

Aryaman's words hit her like anything. She felt herself to be the biggest fool. All this were just for her mere property. She didn't mean anything to them. They were just behind her damn properties which is taken by Manik.

Nandini could not stand there anymore. She had no energy left that she could hear further. Her head was spinning as their words roam in her mind continuously. She felt she would collapse any moment. She held the nearby wall for support taking long breath to calm her nerves.

Nandini's pov
All these were fake.....

A drama.....

Everything around me was fake.....

All this marriage, love, all this were a drama planned by my own uncle whom I had trusted more than anyone. He was no less than daddy to me. I have always treated like that.  The how can he do this to me? Didn't he think twice before planning all this against me?

Whatever Aryaman said or did till now was their contract. He was acting all the while. Uncle has made contract with him about me. I didn't mean anything to him. All this was part of a bloody plan to snatch my properties.

How can this be true? How???

How can uncle do something like this to me? And all these days how can Aryaman act so clearly?
end of Nandini's pov

Nandini came back to cabin and sat on her chair with a thud. She was looking lost. She had no idea of what was happening around her anymore. All her thoughts were captured by them only. Seeing her, Manik passed a smile. But Nandini was too occupied in her thoughts to notice him.

"Don't be so shocked with this much only, Nandini. It's just a small part of the happening behind you. You still have so many things left to know. Try to make yourself stronger. Calm yourself down. The mystery has just started to unfold. There is still so many things unknown." Manik said with a smirk on his face.

Nandini was taken aback hearing his words. She didn't think he would be knowing all this. "How do you know that I have known or heard something?"

Manik smiled and replied, "When the right time will come, you will get to know everything for sure. I will make everything clear to you. Without clearing everything, I am not going to leave your life this time. I won't leave any score unsettled."

"Why my life is so complicated? Can you tell me, Manik? Why can't I spend my life easily like others? I can't take this anymore. I am tired with everything."

"I don't know this Nandini. You are not Nandini. The Nandini I knew never accepted her defeat so easily. She could fight against the whole world for the truth. She is not someone who will sit back quietly just because someone did wrong to her without taking revenge."

As Manik finished, Nandini was staring his face. There was something in her eyes which was melting him unknowingly.

"Don't sit back, Nandini. Fight back. You are not weak. They are wrong and you have all the rights to take step against them."

Nandini stood up angrily. "I will fire Aryaman today only. Right now."

Manik stopped her. "Wait Nandini. Don't do this. Don't let them know that you have heard or known something about them. It will make them alert and then a lot of mystery won't reveal. We have to take every step thinking carefully. At this point, we can't afford to take any wrong step."

"But after knowing everything..."

Manik didn't let her complete. Before that only he told, "I told you now only wait for the right time. If you will do something wrong now, then everything will go out of our hand. Then we won't be able to do anything to punish them."

"I won't leave this Aryaman. How dare he? He cheated on me. He was just doing drama in front of me since the beginning and I didn't even get to know anything. All this was their planning." Nandini said angrily gritting her teeth.

"Isshhhh... You are feeling bad or hurt? I am also feeling bad for you. You had dreamt and thought so many things that you will get married to him and you will have a family. But everything is gone now, you can't do anything." Manik mocked her and with a smirk on his face making Nandini more angry.

"Are you making fun of me? That's why I don't like talking to you. Urghhh..." Nandini shouted angrily. Manik chuckled seeing her.

"Oh sorry. I forgot. I won't do it again. But remember one thing, behave normally with your uncle and Aryaman. They should not get to know or get any hint anyhow that you know about them. You heard their conversation. It will cause harm to you and Nisha. Be careful from them and take care of Nisha. I can't trust them that they won't do anything or try to harm both of you." Manik said and concern can be clearly seen in his voice. Nandini also reality but didn't say anything.

"Why will uncle do something like this? He can't harm us. He has been with us since long when there was no one to take care of us." Nandini said. She was still unable to believe that he can do something like this. She was doubting her own thoughts.

"You still don't know who can hurt you and who can't. You don't even get to know, from where and how will people harm you. I wonder how you have been handling such big business for so long. So, leave that on me. But you will get to know everything soon. Very soon." Manik said in a mysterious voice. Nandini couldn't help but just looking into his eyes. They were reflecting many emotions but she couldn't read them.
