— ♥ ❝ finding the missing children ❞ ♥ —

the next day felt like it wasn't worth doing anything, but Davina Yamada continued walking too school when she turned her head when she heard a group of kids chanting, " Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! "

She ran as fast as she could when she saw Finney Blake and Gwen Blake also standing and watching the fight, " You think you're so tough, huh? " it was Moose, " let's find out " she recognized the other person instantly. It was Robin Arellano.

Not wanting to butt into the fight she stayed next to the two kids that stood next to her, " I will pound you like a nail, you scrawny little beaner " Moose sounded quite confident, but didn't know that Robin wasn't gonna be as easy of a component as his other victims.

" then do it " Robin spoke confidently as She gripped the side of her bag not wanting to somehow get it stolen from a dumb little kid while watching the two fight, she wasn't the kind of person to watch fights but since it's Robin Arellano her best friend and the bully Moose, it was definitely worth wasting time to watch.

" unless your scared " He shrugged his shoulders that's when Moose too the first swing, missing Robin as he ducked. Throwing a punch at his lower right side, Moose grunted in pain as Robin continued bouncing back and forth with his fists up in the air.

The crowed including Davina all had an excited chatter going around every punch and kick Robin did on Moose, the kick to the face was the most impressive by far. Moose was attached to the pole before trying to swing back at Robin, only resulting in Robin blocking his arm and then beating him up badly again.

" get him, Robin! " Gwen cheered from the side her brother watching intensely beside her not saying a word at all, Davina cupped her hands around her mouth cheering for Robin.

The fight shortly ended with Moose being on the ground and Robin throwing violent punches at his face, she went back to walking to school when she heard the sentence. " -..since The Grabber got pinball Vance Hopper " it was Gwen walking with her older brother Finney again.

" I wish you wouldn't call him that either " Davina tilted her head around Finney as she joined the two's little walk to school, " Everyone calls him Pinball Vance " She spoke, " no no that, The Grabber " she shook her head.

" I know who you mean, even the papers called him The Grabber " Gwen furrowed her eyebrows confused with the conversation, " just... wish you wouldn't say his name " Finney spoke as Davina sorta made an awkward glance at the ground. " me too " she softly spoke under her breath.

" I'm sorry about Bruce " Finney stared at the helpless girl beside him that looked mentally drained from all the news going around.

" it's okay Finney " she gazed her head over to him forcing a smile on her face, " you don't actually believe that story tho, do you? " Gwen finally spoke again, as Davina just crossed her arms over her chest. " you never know " she shrugged not knowing what else to say.

" all I know is Finney should be careful, and you Gwen. Even I have to be careful. I don't want neither of you getting taken by some crazy old man, because he possibly is the one who has my brother right now and I don't want to loose you guys either okay? " she spoke quickly out of breath. It ended with the two nodded and giving her a side hug before disappearing to different class rooms.

As the bell rung she met with Finney in the hallway, he seemed to be in a mad rush for some odd reason. " everything okay? " she held her books close to her chest.

" oh yeah " he spoke still moving in a fast pace, " okay then .. " she spoke confusingly as she walked with the boy down the hallway, that's when she glanced her head to where Finney was looking, " hey Finney " a boy spoke as two others came from a classroom nearby.

" screw off dirt bags! " Davina yelled but resulted in her being pushed back by the boy with ginger hair, " son of a- " She looked up as a hand was held out to her. " I don't bite " Robin spoke as she was pulled up to her feet.

She stared down the hallway seeing Finney had disappeared but the boys still turned outside where the bathrooms were chasing him.

" go help Finney please " she motioned her hands over to the outside bathrooms as Robin ran down the hallway, she could always count on Robin to help out with anything going on.

She smiled when she saw the boys leave the bathroom, " got a talk with Robin? " she raised an eyebrow the three stopping. " why you hanging out with the looser anyways " the middle one stopped, " one he's not a looser and two probably because if you stopped bullying people for once in your life maybe it won't be as miserable for you guys anymore? " she smirked before shoving past the three kids.

Davina sat in a chair in front of the principals desk as she heard the door opening, she smiled seeing Gwen's face as she entered the room. " you wanted to see me? " she spoke, her eyes widened.

" Gwendolyn Blake, this is Detective Wright and Detective Miller, along with our fellow student here Davina Yamada " she smiled to the girl who just awkwardly grinned, " miss Blake " Detective Wright motioned for her to sit down, " they would like to talk to you about something " .

" what is Davina doing here tho? " She asked turning her head to the girl that sat next to her, " well you know how my brother went missing, I'm still trying to find him so they aloud me to be in here with you " Davina explained.

" is it... True you're friends with Amy Yamada? " Detective Wright spoke, " we have home room together, is she okay? " she looked more concerned now after Detective Miller said she was fine. Davina's leg bounced again the same way it did last night at the police station.

" you know what this is about " Detective Miller spoke as Davina shot a glare at him shutting him up for Detective Wright to speak again, " What did you say to Amy about her brother Bruce? " He asked her, Davina bit her quivering lip when she heard her brothers name. She wasn't really close with her little sister as she wasn't home last night until after they were back from the station.

" Davina you can leave if the topic is not comfortable for you " the principal offered, " oh no, I'm okay I'd rather be in here " she smiled again having to force it, it was hard for Davina to even smily truthfully anymore.

" just that I had a dream about him " Gwen shook her head, Davina had a notepad out while the others weren't paying attention and was also secretly writing down every little detail said.

They talked about her dream for a little while as Davina had zoned out for quite a bit of it, until she heard what happened in the dream. " I'm sorry for interrupting but can you say that again please? " She adjusted her position in her chair tilting her head and furrowing her eyebrows as Gwen sighed, " he was taken, that's all "

" do you know who took him? " Davina was more interested in this, Gwen always had strange dreams that were somehow true. " by a man with black balloons in a van " Detective Wright sounded more serious, " yes " she nodded.

" what else can you tell us about your dream? " he asked that's when Gwen got a little more sassy with the two detectives asking her questions, " why? It was just a dream " she glared.

" who else knows about the dream? " Detective Miller finally spoke once again, " nobody " She looked back to the other detective, " we found two black balloons at the scene, Gwen " He spoke as She looked at Davina her held held low again as she wasn't sure what to say.

" oh " Gwen stared at the seat that Davina sat in until looking back at Detective Wright, " we also found one black balloon at the scene of Griffin Stagg's abduction " He spoke.

" -or what? I'm The Grabber? " the conversation has been going on for at least an hour as Gwen was getting more fiesty with the two, " no Gwen that's not what their trying to say! " Davina finally yelled wanting them to stop fighting.

" what! You think I kidnapped Vance Hopper last spring? " she continued on, " is that it? " at this point she wasn't letting any of them speak now, " Vane got held back twice, I've seen him fight, and trust me he could kick the shit out of either of you blindfolded " everyone's eyes widened from her sudden change in attitude.

" Gwen watch your language " the principal spoke, " yeah, I took him down 'cause obviously I'm the grabber you dumb fucking fart knockers " she continued on, Davina just raised her eyebrows impressed by her attitude towards the two detectives, " Gwendolyn Blake! " the principal stood up.

Davina was getting more impatient as she just wanted to take Gwen away from all these questions, " that sometimes my dreams are right " she fiddled with her fingers.

that's when Davina stood up staring at the little girl before exchanging glances with everyone in the room, same expressions too.
