SASUKE UCHIHA COULDN'T LOOK AT HIS ELDEST DAUGHTER WITHOUT FEELING GUILT. When Isuma Uchiha was born, he wasn't there. But the first time he did see her, he couldn't help the wave of grief and guilt drowning his senses. She looked just like Itachi Uchiha. His beloved brother, who was wronged by the selfishness of those who used to be in power. The one he killed before learning the truth. The last thing he told him was that he will love her, always. And it was because of that, Sasuke somehow found peace within his anger. His grief. But his daughter only served as a reminder of the mistake he made. As a sign for him to do things right again. And he listened to it.

SARADA UCHIHA ADMIRED HER OLDER SISTER. Isuma was everything Sarada wanted to be. A genius, able to perfect different abilities like nothing, have perfect reflexes and the wisdom that rivaled a lot of authoritative figures around them. She was her big sisters biggest fan. And Isuma loved and protected Sarada as much as she could. The girls had a beautiful bond and everyone saw it. Sakura saw it the day Sarada was born. Isuma loved to help take care of her baby sister. Even without anyone asking. Which created a huge and strong bond between the sisters. One that is seemingly indestructible.

ISUMA UCHIHA HAD ALL OG THE BEST PARTS OF ITACHI UCHIHA WITH THE FIGHTING PROWESS OF MADARA UCHIHA. She was the youngest of her class to graduate, the youngest to become a Chunin and was considered a future Anbu captain. With the way things were going, she was well on her way. But statuses like that was something that never mattered to her. Protecting her mom and sister were her top priority. Everything else was just a by product of that. She loved her family, her friends and those of the Konoha. It was her home and her life. But, like Sarada, even she grew curious about the history of the Uchiha Clan. The first time she sees her father in years, he calls her Itachi by accident. Wanting to know who he was to him, she couldn't help but to investigate who he was. Only to find out he was her uncle and he was responsible for the murder of the Uchiha Clan. And even though both Sakura and Sasuke explained to her what really happened, it was still an overwhelming experience. To know that her home was once a corrupted place behind the scenes. But she understood. Her only wish? She wanted to meet Itachi. She wished she could have.

WHEN KAWAKI MET ISUMA, HE WAS FRUSTRATED WITH HER. After becoming a citizen of Konoha, under Naruto Uzumaki's care, Boruto excitedly introduced him to Isuma Uchiha. Claiming that she's really cool and super strong. All overhype bs to Kawaki. But that wasn't until he actually met her. Her and her teammates and senses came back from a three week long mission and his eyes was glued to her. He was both intrigued by her but incredibly frustrated with her calm nature.

It seemed like nothing he said to her would actually get her to show any other emotion other than calmness. Even when she was rebutting his comments, she was docile and neutral. She was good at reading emotions but when it came to showing them, she needed lessons. The only time Kawaki has seen her smile was when Isuma was around Sarada or Himawari. Or with her mom. Hell, even mentioning her father made her grin a little. But with anyone else, she just looked calm and relaxed. No emotions but at the same time, kindness laced her voice. And it pissed him off.

Kawaki kept hanging around her, just to get a rise out of her somehow. Despite the warnings from her teammates, he wanted to see her get angry, get upset and maybe, smile at him like she did the others. But because he, also, has a hard time showing emotions that aren't hostile, he doesn't know how to go about it. Boruto loves to tease him about his crush on her, even though Kawaki denies it. Unbeknownst to him, Isuma has developed feelings for him, but she doesn't convey emotions well and tends to just gift give when she wants to show her affection towards him. Which confuses him completely.

But as trouble brews and the future of the shinobi is uncertain, Isuma must make a hard choice. Her love for Kawaki or the safety of Konoha.
