After ( Y/N ) rushed over, the duo headed to the subway, riding to the spot where Miles got bitten. Miles explained everything that happened and she couldn't believe it. ( Y/N ) suggested telling her mom since she was in on the Spider-Man gig with Peter since day one.

In the end, Miles only wanted to tell his dad. Once they arrived at the spot, the train pulled away, making a clear entrance to the secret tunnel Aaron showed them.

Miles took a deep breath. "You're being crazy, Miles. You're being crazy."

"Hey. We'll go crazy together," ( Y/N ) put a hand on his shoulder with a light smile.

Miles returned the smile and they both got their phones out, ready to head in.

✧ ─── ・ 。゚✦ *.✧.* :✦. ─── ✧

"Find the spider,"

Miles muttered under his breathe. The tunnel was much creepier without Aaron and the fact it was so dark. The duo walked down some steps, entering the room where Miles got bitten. While searching, the flashlight from Miles's phone hit a dead spider on the floor.

From behind, ( Y/N ) tilted her head. "It looks like a normal spider to me."

"It's, like, boring how normal this spider is," Miles added.

Miles sighed, bending down with a marker in one hand and his phone in the other. He slowly moved the marker towards the spider, but suddenly it started to glitch at soon as it came close. Miles jumped back along with ( Y/N ). The duo looked at each other with wide eyes before moving their lights.

Once again, the spider senses made him feel like everything was different. ( Y/N ) frowned in confusion, turning to her friend. "You okay, Miles?"

It was like he couldn't hear her, but it eventually stopped. Just as he went to answer while they were walking, it started happening again. Miles covered his ears, bending down, trying to block the noises out.

"Is this how spidey senses work?" He heard ( Y/N ) ask in a muffled voice.

LOOK OUT

From behind the glass, a large piece of metal came crashing through. Miles and ( Y/N ) ducked down, getting back up and hiding behind the concrete. They went to look up, seeing Spider-Man fighting the Green-Goblin. ( Y/N )'s never seen the Green-Goblin in person.

"Spider-Man?" Miles wondered.

"Uncle Peter," ( Y/N ) muttered, quickly covering her mouth.

"Norman, listen to me," Spider-Man spoke. "I cannot let you open a portal to another dimension. Brooklyn is not zoned for that."

The green goblin was just how'd you picture. He had a large horn on the top of his head, glowing eyes, green skin and large claws. Miles's eyes widened at the sight of him. Is that green goblin?

The green goblin grunted, crawling forwards Spider-Man. "It's not up to me," he pushed a piece of metal aside as he got closer. "Why won't you quite?"

Spider-Man shot out two webs, hovering up into the air and kicking the goblin in the face. "I guess I like Brooklyn not being sucked into a black hole. Stated Island, maybe. Not Brooklyn."

Miles nodded. "I think I'm gonna go."

"And I think I'll join you," ( Y/N ) said.

Just then, a piece of yellow construction equipment came crashing into Miles and ( Y/N ). As Miles was about to be dragged up into the air, he grabbed onto ( Y/N ) who was about to fall off. The duo both ended up falling anyway and they ran for their lives, hiding under metal that was eventually picked up by the green goblin.

As they ran further and further, they ended up in an unusual spot. It was all grey and metal. There was black and yellow tape on the side and on another was a viewing window. Two sides had round machines all covered in lights, pointing right at each other. Just when they think they've seen it all today.

From behind, the green goblin flew in, knocking them to the floor. Miles stuck his hands to the walls and ( Y/N ) had to grab onto his ankles.

"Are you serious?!" Miles exclaimed.

"You think I like where I landed?!" ( Y/N ) snapped.

Miles was losing his grip, luckily Spider-Man was in their view. ( Y/N ) was hoping to get his notice, especially Miles. Miles tried desperately to hold on, but now both of the kids were falling. This caught the attention of Peter. He shot two webs and thrusted himself downward to catch them.

They landed on a platform where Spider-Man placed the kids safely. Miles was panting for breathe, trying to process what happened, but Spider-Man just stared at ( Y/N ) like a father ready to ground a kid.

"It wasn't my fault!" ( Y/N ) defended.

Spider-Man chuckled, turning back to Miles. "Did you know your shoes are untied?"

Miles nodded. "Uh-huh."

'This is a onesies, so I don't really have to worry about it," the two spidey's squinted their eyes, their senses tingling. Peter's eyes widened at the Morales boy. "I thought I was the only one. You're like me."

"I don't wanna be,"

"I don't think you have a choice, kiddo," he continued. "Got a lot going through your head, I'm sure. You're gonna be fine. I can help you. If you stick around, I can show you the ropes."

Spider-Man glanced at ( Y/N ). "And... ( Y/N ) can help too."

"How do you know..."

Before he could reply, the machine was starting to turn on, the middle part slowly turning out.

"I just need to destroy this big machine real quick before the space-time continuum collapses, don't move," Spider-Man looked behind, his eyes drifting to ( Y/N ). "We'll talk about the book report!"

( Y/N ) sighed, looking down at her feet. Spider-Man swung up from one platform to the next, sticking onto the round pieces of metal and then jumping over, swinging up to the ceiling.

How does he do that? Miles thought to himself, slowly getting up to watch him.

Suddenly, a purple figure came out from the ceiling, cradling at Spider-Man. Before ( Y/N ) wasn't allowed to go into Peter's 'Spider-shed' ( as she called it ), she saw all the photos of those villains up on that web. In person, they were way more intimidating.

"That's the Prowler," ( Y/N ) informed Miles.

Miles got out his phone, filming the fight. ( Y/N ) copied his actions, moving her arms up to get a better view. Even without the spidey sense, ( Y/N ) could hear someone, it was Kingpin. The way he was humming, it was just creeping her out.

"Like my new toy? Cost me a fortune, but, hey, can't take it with you, right?" They could hear Kingpin from the viewing room. "You came all this way, watch the test. It's a hell of a frickin light show, you're gonna love this."

Just then, the engine started, bright lights turned on all around them. The goblin held Peter under his claw, making him watch their side as the goblin's shadow in the light. A tiny atmospheric meter in a box lowers down, blinking, with a tinny whir. A loud woosh came from both sides as red and orange light blasted out, connecting in the center like a straight line.

Miles and ( Y/N ) tried covering their eyes from the bright lights. Pressure started to build, making the platform they were standing on collapse. Miles was able to grab onto one of the wires, but had to grab ( Y/N )'s hand before she could fall.

"We're gonna die! We're gonna die! We're gonna die!" ( Y/N ) repeatedly yelled as the both climbed onto the yellow poles.

"Norm, what's your take on head trauma?" Spider-Man questioned.

Eventually, Spider-Man was able to escape the green goblin's grasp with a piece of metal falling on his head. The goblin collapsed to the side of the machine, making it safe for Spider-Man to stand up. "I tried to warn you, pal."

Spider-Man shot a web, swinging back up to the ceiling, but before he was in the clear, the goblin pulled him down into the lights and particles as ( Y/N ) and Miles watched from below.

"Peter!" ( Y/N ) yelled.

Miles turned to her with wide eyes. "As in your uncle?!"

"Dang it," ( Y/N ) sighed, lowering her head, but immediately shooting it back up to watch.

The bright lights faded, turning into a magenta as Peter was pushed deeper into the machine. He things, other versions of himself. It was a black background with blue glowing webs, the other figures were glitching. And just as it started, it was soon over. The machine exploded, blasting them all away.

✧ ─── ・ 。゚✦ *.✧.* :✦. ─── ✧

( Y/N ) eyes shot open from her spot on the ground, from behind a bright yellow light was blaring, it was coming from her hand, glowing golden mist. Thinking it was something else, she just got up, eventually finding Miles. As they both tried to find Spider-Man, they found the Green Goblin dead first, his body trapped under a piece of metal.

Even under all the dust and darkness, they were able to find Spider-Man on the ground, covered in metal and most of his suit ripped up. The duo's eyes widened, immediately rushing over and bending down to take the metal off him. "Hey! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine," he reassured them. "I'm just resting."

( Y/N ) frowned. "Can you get up?"

"Yeah. Ha, ha. Yeah, I always get up," he let out a rough cough. "The coughing's probably not a good sign."

"Find him. Now," the trio could hear Kingpin demand from the distance.

"Listen, we gotta team up here. We don't have much time," he handed Miles the override key. "This override key is the only way to stop the collider. Swing up there, use this key, push the button and blow it up. You need to hide your face, don't tell anyone who you are."

He grabbed Miles's hand. "No one can know. He's got everyone in his pocket."

"What?" Miles breathed out.

"If he turns the machine on again, everything you know will disappear," Peter continued. "Your family, everyone. Promise me you'll do this."

Miles glanced at ( Y/N ) before nodding. "I promise."

"Go. Destroy the collider," he told them as they started running. "I'll come and find you!"

Once the duo got away, they took one last look at Spider-Mam before climbing up the broken pieces of metal. Miles and ( Y/N ) shared a worried glance after looking at the glowing red light on the ceiling before hiding behind more rubble at the sight of Kingpin.

"I'd say it's nice to see you again, Spider-Man. But it's not," Kingpin stepped forward, adjusting the cuffs of his sleeves.

"Hey, Kingpin. How's business?" Peter asked.

"Booming!" Kingpin chuckled before pulling off Peter's mask.

Peter shook his head. "Oh. That's a no-no."

Miles gasped at the sight of Peter, his blonde hair and everything. He glanced at ( Y/N ) who was still staring down at the ground in terror.

"It can't be worth the risk,"

Kingpin leaned closer. "It's not always about the money, Spider-Man."

The thought of his Prowler stepped forward, his metal claws opening up, ready to strike. Peter groaned, resting his head back on the metal as he stepped forward. Before the Prowler could attack, he thought of everything he saw in that machine. Hopefully it would by him some time.

"Don't you wanna know what I saw in there?" Peter questioned as the Prowler set his claw down. "I know what you're trying to do, and it won't work."

When they thought it was over, Kingpin pulled one last card, yelling so loud it echoed through the room and pounding his fist on top of Spider-Man. It was over for him. Miles and ( Y/N ) flinched, their eyes widened.

"Get rid of the body."

Miles accidentally dropped some metal, gaining the attention of Kingpin. He turned up, spying Miles and ( Y/N ) standing up and running for their lives. "Kill those guys."
