❝π—ͺπ—›π—˜π—₯π—˜ 𝗔π—₯π—˜ you going?" Carl appeared behind Ivy, who was trying to quietly sneak out the door. Tonight was the night of the town meeting. Ivy really wanted to go, but her and Carl weren't allowed.

"Gonna go visit Tara." Ivy told him. Carl crossed his arms and leaned against a wall. "Stop, you look like you're gonna murder me."

"We're supposed to stay here." Carl said. Ivy rolled her eyes.

"I'm going to visit my friend." Ivy stated. She went to open the door but was cut off my Carls voice again.

"Just stay here." Carl sighed. Ivy leaned her back against the door. "If my dad sees you, he's gonna think you were out watching the meeting. And you guys already were just fightβ€”"

"Don't." Ivy hated fighting with Rick, but it started happening more frequently. "I'm going, and I'll be back." Ivy opened the door and closed it behind her.

As Ivy walked to the infirmary, she heard a gunshot. She didn't flinch, or jump. She simply groaned in annoyance.

"God damnit, Rick."

π—œπ—©π—¬ π—ͺ𝗔𝗦 π—šπ—’π—’π—— at a lot of things, but she was extremely good at comforted people. When Ivy heard about Pete, she was quick to comfort the Anderson family.

"I'm really worried. About the both of them." Jessie voiced to Ivy. Jessie was setting up her hair cutting tools so that she could cut Ron's hair.

"Yeah, I understand. Its a hard thing to be going through. But, you guys are safe now." Ivy smiled slightly.

"No, I'm safe. He didn't do anything to the boys, it was just me. If nobody found out, they would've still had a father." Jessie sighed sadly. "I feel like it's my fault."

"Jessie, don't ever say that. Nothing is your fault. You are a caring mother who knows what's right for her kids, and deep down inside you know that Pete being gone will lift some weight off of everyones shoulders." Ivy grabbed Jessie's hand.

"You are so mature for your age. I'm glad Ron has you as a friend." Jessie stated. "I'm gonna give Ron a cut, so I'll spare you the boredom. But, on your way out, can you check on Sam? He's been out there for a while."

"Of course." Ivy nodded. "Have a good day Jessie."

"You too." Jessie smiled weakly. Ivy walked out the door and saw a sulking Sam on the steps. Ivy felt pity for the poor kid. He was so young and just lost his father.

"Sammy, you good?" Ivy asked as she stepped down the steps. Ivy sat next to the small boy. He stayed silent. "It's ok, you don't have to talk. But, if you ever need an opponent in Mario Kart, come and find me."

Sam smiled barely, but it was there. Ivy waved to the boy and walked away.

As she walked through the streets of Alexandria, she could feel something was wrong. Ivy knew the death of Pete shook the town, but the silence was unbearable. She wished for just a little something to keep her occupied.

But, you always have to be careful what you wish for.

As Ivy walked inside the house, she was quick to meet with Carol.

"Hey sweetheart." Carol smiled. Ivy peeked at whatever Carol was making. "Making dinner."

"For all of us?" Ivy asked nicely. "Or for your new friends."

"For everyone.." Carol laughed slightly as she looked out the window. "Pete's death is really tearing this town apart."

"Yeah, I don't know why. He was a weirdo. And ugly. Don't know what Jessie saw in him." Ivy laughed from her seat at the kitchen island.

Ivy and Carol both froze when they heard a gut wrenching scream.

"Oh my god." Carol gasped. Ivy quickly grabbed her knife from her thigh holster and pointed upstairs.

Carl came down the stairs holding a gun. "I saw from upstairs. They're coming in from all over." Carl said, his voice laced with panic.

"You two have to stay here and keep Judith safe." Carol nodded.

"No Iβ€” this people don't know how to protect themselves. The more of us out there, the better." Ivy protested.

"Your main and only priority is Judith!" Carol shouted before running out the door. Ivy turned to Carl.

"Why can't we have something nice for once?" Ivy asked.

"Because... We aren't safe. But, these people need us." Carl assured his girl. "We're gonna be okβ€”"

Carl was cut off by the doorknob rattling. Ivy raised her knife, but Carl just pushed her behind him. "Stay behind me." Ivy nodded and followed Carl cautiously.

When the person opened the door, Carl was quick to point his gun at them. But, he lowered it when he realized it was just Enid.

"Hi." Enid said, awfully confused. Carl looked out the door before closing it.

"Why didn't you just knock?" Carl asked. He looked down at Enid with a slightly angered look. Enid held up a pile of keys.

"I have these. Didn't want them to have them." She dropped the keys in Carls hand. Ivy rolled her eyes.

"I'm here too." Ivy sighed before walking back into the kitchen.

"I wanted to say goodbye." Enid spoke as she stepped into the doorway of the kitchen.

"Okay, watch the back door. Tell me if you see them coming." Carl told Enid. "Ivy, you're staying with me. I can't let anything happen to you."

"I'm not staying." Enid stepped forward.

"You're not leaving." Ivy stated. "You're just gonna get yourself killed."

"So be it." Enid whispered under her breath.

"Sit down."

Enid obeyed, which made Ivy internally laugh. The three all sat on the floor. Enid kept herself a couple inches away from the two. She watched as Ivy and Carl interlocked their fingers and held each other close.

Ron would never do that.

Sure, Ron was nice, but he was probably better off as a friend rather than a boyfriend. He was good to go to for advice. He wasn't good for cuddling and all the relationship things.

"Did you see them?" Carl asked Enid.

"They're just people." Enid stated. "This place this too big to protect. There are too many blind spots. That's how we were able to get out." At the last sentence, Enid looked at Ivy.

"What?" Carl asked. Ivy sighed and looked at Enid with a 'really?' look.

"It doesn't matter. They are inside, but they are gonna die. No one fucks with us and makes it out alive." Ivy explained. Ivy sighed before turning to Enid.

"Did you see Maggie?" Ivy inquired. Enid shook her head no. "Great."

A few minutes passed and Ivy grew anxious. She was listening to the screams and cries of people, and she wasn't causing them. The blood shed was almost a craving at this point. She made a promise to herself that if anyone fucked with her family, they'd die.

Ivy looked out the window and saw Ron.

"Guys, Ron's out there." Ivy ran to the door and opened it, no hesitation. The man quickly took notice of Ivy and tried to catch Ron. Enid and Carl came running out behind her.

Carl shot the man in the leg, making him fall to the ground and groan in pain. Ivy pushed Ron away from the man.

Ivy looked down at the man on the floor and took her knife out.

"Please, kid. Please don't kill me." The man cried out. Ivy bent down so she was face to face with man.

"Too late." Ivy stabbed the man once in the head. She removed the blade from his head, and wiped the blood off on her pants. Ivy looked to Ron who had a horrified look on his face.

"You ok?" Ivy questioned Ron. Ron nodded, clearly out of breath.

"You just killed a man." Ron breathed out. Ivy shrugged like it was nothing.

"I've killed like eight. It's nothing new." Ron's eyes went wide. "Come inside. You aren't safe out here."

Ron looked to Enid who was standing in the doorway. He was clearly angry because he declined Ivy's offer and stormed off.

"I tried." Ivy shrugged before walking back in the house.

"We're just gonna let him go?" Carl asked Ivy as the three began walking back inside. Ivy closed the door behind them and locked it.

"We aren't his babysitters. If he wants to get himself killed, that's on him." Ivy stated. Enid stood around in the kitchen and Carl stood next to Ivy.

"Why wouldn't he come with us?" Carl whispered.

"You're an attractive man hanging with his girl. Don't think he likes that much." Ivy laughed slightly.

"But, I'm with you." Carls eyes softened.

"Cheaters still exist." Ivy sighed. Carl stepped in front of Ivy.

"You don't think I like Enid, right?" Carl grabbed Ivy's arm.

"No. You're not that stupid." Ivy shrugged. Carl furrowed his eyebrows. "You know that if you were to even look at another girl in such a way, I would kill you and said girl."

"That's hot."

❝𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗨π—₯π—©π—œπ—©π—˜ π—¦π—’π— π—˜π—›π—’π—ͺ." Ivy read off the piece of paper as she walked over the dead bodies covering the streets of Alexandria. Her black boots were covered in blood, and so was the shirt she had stolen from Glenn's closet.

"Maggie!" Ivy yelled. "Glenn?"

The streets were empty. Filled with nothing but blood and bodies. Ivy was very stressed over the fact that she couldn't find Maggie or Glenn.

"Ivy?" Ivy turned around and saw Maggie standing there. "Oh my god." The two ran to each other and hug tightly.

"You're ok. We're ok." Ivy whispered into Maggie's chest. "Where's Glenn? Are they still on the run?"

"Yeah Glenn is still out there. Don't worry, he's ok." Maggie assured Ivy. Ivy nodded and smiled again. She hugged Maggie once more.

"Thank you for not being dead."

π—œπ—§ 𝗛𝗔𝗗 π—•π—˜π—˜π—‘ 𝗔 a few days since the Wolves attack in Alexandria. The streets had been even quieter than before. There was also no sign of Glenn or Enid, and people began to worry.

Alexandria was surrounded by walkers, which didn't help. Rick had given everyone a speech about how to protect themselves and Alexandria from walkers.

Ivy would never admit it, but she was losing hope. She thought Alexandria would be good for them, but it turns out it's just another failed dream.

She stole a packet of Daryl's cigarettes. She knew she shouldn't have, but she couldn't help herself. Daryl's reasoning for smoking was reliving stress, so Ivy thought she might as well try it, again.

After losing her parents, she slipped into a deep hole and found any drug store she could find. She would look through all houses not only for food, but for drugs and alcohol.

Ivy sat on the porch of the house, cigarette in between her middle and pointer finger. She flicked some ash off before putting it back into her mouth.

When she was done, she put the cigarette out and walked in the house. She brushed her teeth and carried on with her day. Ivy couldn't risk getting caught. She would be in to much trouble.

As Ivy walked through Alexandria, she caught sight of Carl and Ron fighting. The fought like little girls on the school playground.

"Well, that's just sad." The two boys stopped and looked at Ivy. "If you guys are gonna fight, at least throw some punches."

The boys brushed themselves off in embarrassment.

"He's trying to go find Enid." Ron spoke.

"Don't you want to find your girlfriend?" Ivy asked Ron. "Carl knows what he's doing. He could most likely walk out there and find Enid."

"How do we know she's not dead?" Ron inquired. Ivy shrugged her shoulders.

"How about we get our minds off of this for a bit and do something.... you know, not fighting. Maybe something productive?" Ivy crossed her arms.

"I told my dad I'd help with Judithβ€”" Carl was cut off by Ron.

"Yeah, I'll hang out with you." Ron said to Ivy, but looked at Carl. Ivy knew Ron just wanted to hang out with her so that Carl could get jealous, but Carl trusted Ivy.

❝𝗗𝗒 𝗬𝗒𝗨 π—˜π—©π—˜π—₯ just imagine, like, being a blob fish." Ivy giggled. The smell of weed filled the air as Ron and Ivy sat on the roof of Ron's house. It was the middle of the night and the two teens were having a great time.

"What the hell is a blob fish?" Ron asked. Ivy laughed hysterically. "What? Its a question."

"How could you not know what a blob fish is when you look exactly like one!" Ivy laughed. Ron laughed along. "Oh my god, Ron."

"Oh my god, Ivy." Ron copied.

"I just realized, both of our dads are dead!" Ivy sat up. Ron sat up as well. "I'm literally an orphan but your half way there!"

"Maggie and Glenn aren't your parents?" Ron asked.

"Nope! But, I'm still Ivy fucking Rhee!" Ivy said, trying to sound cool. Ivy moved slightly and almost fell off the roof. "Uh oh."

"Yeah, let's not do that again."
