𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥, 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿

𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗡'𝗧 long before Ivy found a way over the walls. The day after Ivy met the other kids, she was already over Alexandria and the people in it. It was nice to have a home to run back to, but Ivy liked to be outside.

When Ivy was inspecting the walls, she found bolts that were most likely used for climbing the wall.

When she found a safe and quiet place to hangout, she was extremely excited to have some alone time.

Ivy read a book as she sat up against a fallen tree. The woods were so quiet and peaceful without walkers around. You could hear every little noise.

Especially footsteps.

When Ivy heard the crunching of boots against leaves, she was quick to grab her knife and spring into action.

But, she put down her knife when she saw it was just Enid.

"Why are you out here?" Ivy asked coldly. Enid walked closer and Ivy gave her a dirty look.

"I assume you climbed over the walls with the bolts. Your welcome." Enid sat against the fallen tree that Ivy was previously sitting next to.

"I'm not thanking you for shit." Ivy spat. Enid gave her a confused look and Ivy rolled her eyes.

"That's nice." Enid muttered. "Why are you out here? Shouldn't you be with your people?"

"Shouldn't you mind your business?" Ivy asked sarcastically as she picked up her book and began to walk away. Ivy heard footsteps pick up behind her. "Jeez, Enid. Its like you have a crush on me."

Ivy heard a scream from behind her. She quickly turned around and saw a walker grabbing onto Enid. Ivy pulled out her knife and stabbed the walker.

The walker fell to the ground and revealed a terrified Enid.

"Pull it together, sport." Ivy breathed out. Enid sighed in defeat and pushed by Ivy. "Also, stay away from Carl."

Enid turned on her heel and looked to Ivy. "Why should I?" Ivy stepped closer to Enid.

"Because as his girlfriend, I don't really appreciate girls telling him that I don't want to be with him." Ivy spat. Enid and Ivy stared into each others eyes. Ivy knew she had been here before with Carl, so maybe her and Enid will have a chance to be friends in the future— but you never know.

"Was I wrong?" Enid asked confidently. Ivy smiled and tilted her head slightly.

"Yes." Ivy walked away from Enid before turning around. "You might wanna head back as well. It's pretty obvious that you don't know how to handle a walker so...."

"I can handle a walker. I was just caught off guard." Enid muttered. Ivy laughed and turned around. Ivy began walking away as she yelled something to Enid.

"Can't be distracted nowadays! That's how you get yourself killed!" Ivy voiced to Enid.

Enid sucked her teeth before biting her cheek. Enid was bitchy, but she knew she had just met her match. Usually she could just be spit rude things at people and they would just stay quiet.  But, Ivy was the bitchest of all bitches— well, at least that's what Enid though.

And she was right.

𝗔𝗦 𝗜𝗩𝗬 made her way over the walls and up to the top, she heard yelling from the gate. Ivy's head snapped up at the faint sound of voices. Even from up so high, she could still hear the sound of Glenn's voice. Ivy nervously made her way to down the wall.

From the other side, Enid could see the way Ivy was ready to jump off the wall just to make sure her people were all right. Enid also climbed the walls and saw Ivy sprinting to the gate.

Ivy pushed passed many pedestrians that were also on their way to the scene. Ivy knocked into a few people out of panic, which she quickly apologized for.

Noah noticed Ivy running to the scene and quickly ran to her. Noah grabbed her arms and stopped her from moving any further.

"Is everyone ok?" Ivy asked frantically.

"Yeah. Everyone's good. I'm just gonna stop you right here so that Aiden can keep his life." Noah smiled slightly.

"What do you— oh, that bitch!" Ivy gasped as she saw Aiden push Glenn. "Now I know what you mean."

Noah nodded before Ivy spoke again. "Can you let go of me? I kinda wanna see Glenn beat Aidens ass." Noah let go of Ivy and stepped back.

"Me too." The two stepped closer and watched the scene unfold.

"No one's impressed, man." Glenn spoke. "Walk away." Deanna ran up to the group as many others started surrounding them.

"Aiden! What is going on?" Deanna yelled.

"This guys got a problem with the way we do things." Aiden smugly looked at Glenn. Aiden turned to his mother, and his whole 'bad boy' stare was dropped. "Why'd you let these people in?"

"Because we actually know what we're doing out there." Ivy hasn't even noticed that Daryl appeared by her side.

Aiden turned around and threw a punch at Glenn. Glenn ducked it, and in return punched Aiden in the face. Aiden was sent flying to the ground— and Ivy couldn't help but laugh.

Nicholas went to charge at Glenn, but Daryl was quick to body slam him to the ground.

"Beat his ass, Daryl!" Ivy yelled. "Rip him apart!" Noahs jaw dropped as he looked to Ivy.

"Sorry." Ivy smiled awkwardly. Suddenly, Rick and Carl came running through the gates. The two dropped whatever they were carrying.

Deanna's protests didn't stop any of the men from fighting. Rick ran up to Daryl and attempted to rip him off of Nicholas.

Carl ran up to Ivy and made sure she was ok.

"Are you ok?" Carl asked as he moved a piece of hair out of her face. Ivy nodded before furrowing her eyebrows.

"You went out the walls?" Ivy inquired.

"I went with my dad, i'm fine." Carl stated. Carl nodded and kissed Ivy's forehead.

From a few feet away, Enid watched the two. She crossed her arms and had an obvious angry expression on her face. Ivy took notice of that when she looked over. Ivy laughed slightly before taking Carls hand, making it noticeable to Enid.

"I think someone has a crush on you." Ivy whispered. Carl made a disgusted face.

"Enid—" Ivy was cut off by Deanna starting to talk.

"I want everyone to hear me, okay?" Deanna spoke loudly. Ivy straightened her posture and listened carefully. "Rick and his people are part of this community now in all ways as equals." Deanna looked to her son.

"Understood." Aiden said shamefully. Deanna turned back to Ivy's group.

"All of you, turn in your weapons. Then you two, come talk to me." Deanna sent one last scolding look before walking away with Nicholas and Aiden. Everyone else started walking away, except Ivy, Carl, and Enid.

Ivy looked to Carl and wrapped her arms around his neck. Carl knew what Ivy was doing and he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Ivy kissed his lips passionately and Carl kissed back. Enid watched with an angry feeling. She wasn't jealous of Ivy though..... It was almost like she was jealous of Carl.

"You enjoy the show, walker slayer?" Ivy asked. Enid stormed off and Ivy couldn't help but laugh. Ivy looked to Carl who had a slight smirk on his face.

"Are you jealous?" Carl asked with a smile.

"Yeah. I'm not gonna lie." Ivy shrugged. Carl grabbed her hand and the two began walking back to their house.
