"Mom! do you know where the butter is, I wanna to make popcorn! "

"Umm, check the kitchen cabinet on the left!, it should be there! "

I groan internally realizing she was talking about the top left kitchen cabinet Which I wasn't tall enough to reach. It was in that moment my twin sister who was a few inches taller than me walked in and helped me grab the butter from the cabinet. She has been trying her hardest to make me forgive her but I wouldn't bulge. What if this was another scheme of hers to get under my skin, then hurt me way worse than last time, I thought but then again she seems really remorseful and sober these days.

Our house, which was always crawling with different kinds of strangers every weekend, was now as quiet as a ghost town as If no one lived here. As if that wasn't enough, she went shopping for all my favorite thing from clothes, to head phones, to fancy canvas, even to the point of getting me the latest iPhone 11. Of course, I accepted it all especially the iPhone. I was tried of parading the streets with this old bottom bittered duct tape techno android phone. Now here she was dress in a joggers and a simple tee that had our eleven year old face on it. She was looked at me expectantly now and I not known what to say, I just collected the butter from her and muttered

" Thanks "

"Don't mention it twinsis"

I open my mouth to speak but then closed it again. She hasn't called me that since forever, she has also never worn that tee shirt since moms made us wear in on our 11th birthday which was before the whole kosi ordeal. I actual thought she gave it out or she sold it or something but here she was stand 2inches way from me in that same very tee-shirt. I looked away from her and as i busyed myself making popcorn.

"Watcha making? "

"None of... Hmmm popcorn "

"Cool can I help? "

"No and... why are you wearing that shirt with our 11years old selves on it? Thought you threw it out or something. "

"No i didn't throw it out, and I Almost never took it off either. I've been wearing it for the past 5 years. "

"Oh... Me too "

I smiled still feeling skeptical about my sisters niceness, I decide to voice out my thoughts just to be sure.

"How do I know this isn't one of your scheme, and your not out to get under my skin again just so you could make a bigger fool outta me? "

"I'm not, honest. I promise I'll do anything to show how sincerely sorry I am. Please Lydia, don't make it tougher than it already is. "

I looked at her wearily, trying to detect any sign of falsehood but there was none. I sighed feeling defeated but I didn't just accept her apology like that as I said

"Fine, I'll think about it. But in the main time, my girls are coming over tonight and there is still a lot to be done."

Emmanuella POV

It was Friday afternoon and I just woke up from A well deserved nap after so much stress at school. once I got home i didn't even bother going to my room because immediately I finished eating, I was too exhausted to climb the stairs. I managed to drag my self to the sitting room, pulled of my shoe and school jacket and off I was into Neverland as I slept off on the tiled floor.

four hours later I yawned loudly getting up from the floor to stretch my body. Feeling satisfied, I grabbed my things and headed up to my room to take a shower. Once I was done, I got dressed in something more comfortable. Since the weather was a little hotter than expect I decide to stick with less clothes.

Once I was done, I went to check on my sister and fair enough they where playing scrabble and I thought I'd ask

"Hey guys um, where is Mom and dad, its almost 4 and they aren't back yet. "

"Ooh well we sort off set them up... On a date!"

"Are you serious? they haven't been on one of those since forever! "

"Actually since they got married "

"Zoey!!!"

Addie and I scolded and she raised her hands in mocking surrender saying

"Whhaat?? calm your titties girls, its not like they can hear us. "

"For your sake you better hope they can't. Any way, Emma you wanna play scrabble with us "

"Urr I have a sleepover at Lydia's by 8. But hey its just past 4, Soo, don't mind if I do "

With that I started another round of scramble with my sisters. I kept playing until my stomach grumbled and Zoey answered passing me a plate of shawama

"Hey, I got ya "

"Ha! thanks "

Shortly after I started munching my shawama while we continued the game, I got a call form Kelvin. I stood up and walked to the kitchen to pick the call and grab a bottle of water in the process.

Kelvin : hey there pretty orchid

Me: I thought I was red rose

Kelvin : true... You know what I'm still working on the nick name.

Me : really whatever happened to Ella?

Kelvin: hmmm 🤔 that's true, that one is just simple yes captivating, but then again pretty orchid.

Me: you must be very confused because I am not a talking flower. Who names their babe Orchird?

Kelvin : oooh so you do know you're my babe.. Babe

Me: Kelvin stop Smirking! And I am not your babe; not until you make it official.

Kelvin :Hmmm how'd you know I was Smirking, only a babe could know that.

Me : Kelvin ...

Kevin : yes babe

Me :urh what is wrong with you?

Kevin : oh don't mind me I'm just stunned that you are even more perfect than I thought.

I laughed nervously saying

Me: that is me, I am perfect.. ish

He laughed my response before saying

Kelvin : Hey can i come with you to Lydia's for the sleep over?

Me:urrrr no, sorry but sleepovers are for girls only, No boys allowed.

Kelvin : well, that's just messed up... I wanna go for the sleep over

Me: well if you want one Soo bad, how about you host one huh, the boys will be thrilled to come over.

Kelvin : I don't wanna, if I host one then it'll be a guys sleep over and you won't be invited.

Me: obviously why would I be?-- wait a minutes?... You just want to come with me to the sleepover because I'll be at the sleep over too.

Kelvin: durr, why else will I want to be at a girl sleep over when my darling Ella wouldn't be there.

Me: okay Kelvin, I see your point now but you still can't come.

Kelvin : oooh pretty please, I promise I'll be girly

I Chuckled saying

Me: No, okay I'll talk go you later.

Kelvin : fine... Bye

With that the line went dead and I kept my phone in my pock. Grabbing a bottle of water, I headed back to the living room to continue the game my sisters and I where playing. I sat down on the couch took a gulp of water before i continued eating my shawama, but I froze in place when I noticed they were looking at me.

"What?"

"Who was that? Let me guess, its your bae."

Zoey said and I gasped speechless as my face was currently flaming red in embarrassed. With the little courage I had I finally choked out my respond to what she said.

"Urgh we are not official, you know what let's just go back to scramble. "

8:30pm

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

The girls had just arrived and I was super excited. I had soo many thing lined up for them and I just couldn't wait for us to start. We all headed up to my room to get to it and once we had settled into my room, the sleep over started.

The first thing we did was braiding each others hair which took up most of the night because we all had long and full natural hair. once we were done, we baked cupcakes of different flavors and brought it up to my room.
After that, we did an indoor karaoke which was supper fun. We sang to different songs from our favorite moves both animated and non animated. My favourite was when we recreated all the songs sang in pitch perfect especially flashlight by Jessica J . in pitch perfect just the way it was on stage in the movie.

The sleep over at my house was going pretty great. Right now we were watching the scariest movie of all time THE RETURN OF JURASSIC PACK. Personally, I am terrified of dinosaurs; big or small, animated or not they still looked terrifying to me. Turns out I wasn't the only one screaming my head off throughout the movie.

Just when thing were getting pretty intense or scarier, the boys came crashing our sleep over. Had it been they had come in through the door like normal people, maybe we wouldn't have attacked them with a frying pan, base ball bats and a Spatula. But no, they choose to hover at my window for a little while before sneaking in through the window they opened like an highly intelligent dinosaur.

I almost fainted with the way they sneaked up on us but I had to brace my self just like Rapunzel and made use of of the spare frying pan that mom always left in my room, we shut our eyes tightly as we charged towards them hitting them seriously with the items they were holding. My twin sister Lilian who I didn't know was still up came rushing to my room and so did my parents who switched on the light the minutes they came in.

"What in the name of Holy Neptune is going on here!?! "

" Lydia explain your self, what are boys doing in your room!?! "

My father boomed and I shivered in fear as I hid behind Mercy's back who in turn was hiding behind Emmanuella's back, we were all in fear of my Fathers wrath. I gulped inaudibly as everywhere was dead quiet. Only the movie was still playing in the background, everyone was too afraid to speak but Lilian wasn't as she took the blame for me.

"Urr dad its not what it looks like. Lydia didn't do anything, I called the boys to crash their sleep over so if you are going to punish someone punish me. "

I was shocked, I was mortified, i was astounded. Did my twin sister just take the blame? for something she didn't do? My goodness she really has changed. The Lilian I knew wasn't one to take responsibility how much more taking the blame. I was still looking at her stunned at her action when my dad spoke up calling out his punishment

"Very well Lilian you leave me no choice. Rules are rules and it saying no boy are allowed uninvited especially without our consent at night, and you broke that. As punishment you will do all the house chores for 4 month and no phone during that period "

"But dadddd"

"Fine 3 months no negotiation. under stood? "

"Yes dad "

"Good as for you 4 , don't you ever try to sneak up crashing a girl's sleepover ever again! And y'all get to sleep downstairs in the living room. Mess it up and you all get to join my daughter in cleaning our house as well understood? "

"Sir yes sir!! "

"Good "

Once my dad was done firing instructions he left my room and I sighed in relief. Realizing Lillian just took a punishment on my behalf was really mind blowing and I didn't think twice before I pulled her in for a bone crushing hug.

"Thank you sis. But why go through all that troubl-- wait a minute you don't even know them do you? "

"Nope"

"Gosh! then why did you take the blame for them like that. "

"Had to, you were in a very compromising situation. I just had to step in. if dad thought it was you, your punishment would be way worse than what I got"

"Awwwn thank youuuu... Twinsis"

I said grinning from ear to ear and immediately she heard the last word fall of my mouth, she looked at me with hopeful eyes and I didn't have the heart to break the hope in them.

"And before you ask, yes; i'm done thinking and I have forgiven you. "

She squeals excited as she tackled me to my bed in a bear hug. Faruq awwing at our intimacy made us pull apart as I remember the guys where still here. I clear my throat and introduced my friends to my twin and my twin to my friends. At the end of the day we couldn't continue the sleep over so i turned of the movie which was already showing end credit. With the guys around, we just went down to the living and did an over night study session asking each other question from all we've been learning in school soo far. Eventually, we all feel asleep by 7am with my twinsis right beside for the whole time.
