𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄: 𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐄, 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐆𝐔𝐘 𝐙𝐄𝐑𝐎

"If this purple ooze was injected into Bebop and Rocksteady's bloodstream, it's feasible that  I can pinpoint a singular isotopic signature" Donnie states

Kylie was still in shock, the turtles home was by far the coolest place she had ever been. She was by Donatello's side as he analyzed the 'ooze', as he called it, her note proving useful. Leonardo stood close, watching her even closer. Kylie picked up on that he didn't quite trust her, but she also caught that he was intrigued by her.

The others were gathered around in the open space nearby, staring in confusion at the purple clad turtle.

"Basically what Donatello is saying is that he can track their location through the ooze." Kylie clarifies

He nods, confirming her simplification. Leonardo looks at her, impressed. Kylie shifts under his gazed, her cheeks heating up slightly.

"And if we find them, then we find Shredder. Put them all in shackles!" Casey says, still examining the place.

"And as long as we all have our hockey masks, what could go wrong?" Raph says playfully as he walks over to the pool table.

"Yeah what is up with that? I've literally never seen it until today." Kylie adds, crossing her arms across her chest.

Casey gives her a look before turning back to Raphael.

"Seriously? Now I'm taking wardrobe advice from a bunch of Swamp Things... Hey! Living in an underground amusement park, and have, forgive me, the most pretentious names ever."

"Uh, excuse me, I named them." April buds in

Kylie raises a brow at that and lean closer to Donatello

"Mother?"

He shakes his head before whispering back.

"Long story."

Kylie makes a face before nodding.

"Hey, guys? Nobody moves. Don't move! There is a giant rat back there." Casey says

They turn the viewpoints to where a giant rat  is standing. Leonardo steps closer as Kylie tilts her head curiously. Mikey and Raph walk over next to Casey and share a devious look.

"Yeah, we've, uh... Seen him around here before. You know, there's only one way to get rid of him. You got to get low." Raph starts

"Low! Yeah." Mikey continues

"Why do I feel like you definitely know who the rat is?" Kylie whispers to both Donatello and Leonardo

"He's our father." Leonardo answers

Kylie makes an 'o' face before looking up at Leonardo.

"I'm guessing he taught the four of you ninjistu then?"

Leonardo looks down at her with an impressed look before nodding

"Oh this is gonna be good."

Leo starts motioning to not continue, but Donatello and Kylie encouraged them, while April looked emused.

"When you go at him, you got to go fast, and you got to go hard." Raphael says trying not to break his serious face.

"We believe in you, Casey Jones. It's all you, bro." Mikey says seriously

"Exactly. We need you to get him."

"Three, two, one, go!" Mikey calls

Casey takes off running in the rats direction. But the rat comes running at him, using his tail, he knocks Jones to the ground. He does a continues flip to regain balance.

"Giant rat, 1. New guy, 0." Splinter says victorious

"I can't believe it was that easy." Raphael starts

"I almost thought he wasn't going to do it for a second." Donatello says, continuing Raph

"Good stuff. Good stuff. We should really have people over more often." Mikey says

At this point, everyone has circled Jones, looking down at him.

"You idiot!" Kylie says before quickly taking out her phone and snapping a picture.

"I'm definitely putting this on the photo wall."

Casey groans and the mutant rat smiles. He then turns to Kylie, a more soft and calm smile rested on the features of his face. Kylie held out her hand delicately, and the mutant rat took it.

"Hi, my name is Kylie. I'm sorry about my brothers' rude behavior. Manners seemed to elude him."

The rat chuckles before giving her a delicate shake.

"That I can see my child. I am Splinter, the boys' father."

Kylie smiles

"It is a pleasure to meet you Splinter. Your home is wonderful. I've never been anywhere as intriguing."

Splinter smiles brightly at her compliment before waving Leonardo over from his position in the corner. Kylie could feel his eyes bearing into her as she talked to his father, and she could guess that he was quite protective of his family.

Kylie tries to keep calm as he steps beside her, waiting for his father's instructions.

"Leonardo, give Ms. Kylie a tour while her brother cools off."

Kylie turns to look at her brother, only to see him heading the opposite direction; April following behind him. Kylie shakes her head before turning to Leonardo and Splinter.

"He doesn't have to do that sir. I wouldn't want to invade."

But Splinter shakes his hand.

"It is not very often that we receive guest Ms. Kylie. Please, allow me the honor of showing of my eldest manners."

Kylie giggles lightly at that, which causes Leonardo to crack a small smile. Leonardo then turns to Kylie, and steps slightly backwards; motioning his hand to his right.

"Right this way Ms. Kylie."

Kylie smiles before walking in the direction of his hand, Leonardo following behind her before moving beside her.

Splinter watched as they walked away, he smiled before turning back towards the dojo.

"And that's the lair." Leonardo finishes as he and Kylie make it back to the living room.

She brightly smiles as he motions for to take a seat on the couch. As she sits down, she makes eye contact with Leonardo. She can feel her heart flutter as his deep blue eyes stared into her soul. As if to give one final judgement before deciding on whether to like her or not.

"You have a very beautiful home Leonardo." She starts before breaking eye contact with him

"It equally embodies you and your brothers different personalities." She gestures with her eyes all around the lair before she sets her eyes on Leonardo once more

"I can tell you love your family very much."

Leonardo nods, before looking over his left shoulder. He then turns back to Kylie.

"Then you know that I will do anything to protect them. That includes from anything or anyone I deem a threat." He says, intensely looking to Kylie's eyes for any signs of a threat.

"Yes. And I also know that nothing that I can say will prove that I am no threat. But, perhaps you would feel more comfortable if you knew more about me. It seems only fair since you've shown me your home with kindness and respect." Kylie responds, her gaze staring intensely into Leonardo's eyes.

He ponders it for a moment, before giving her a slight nod.

"Ask away Leonardo."

"What's your full name?"

"Kylie-Rose Amelia Jones." She responds proudly

"Kylie-Rose?"

"Yeah. I guess my mom couldn't pick between the two so she gave me both." She answers with a shrug

"Alright, then. Where are you from?"

Kylie could tell by the look on his face that he was gathering her answers closely. And she knew he was going to verify them later.

"Grand Haven, Michigan. But I study aboard during my high school years."

"Where did you study?" He asked intrigued

"The Notre Dame International School in France." Kylie says with a proud smile

The blue clad turtle nods before continuing

"What do you do in your free time?"

"Uh, well besides clean and reorganize my room; I play classical instruments and practice my Jiu-Jitsu."

Leonardo nods, once again impressed with the girl. Kylie could feel herself turn red at his approval.

"What instruments do you play?"

"The violin, viola, cello, and piano. I can also play the electric guitar."

"That's impressive. I've heard it takes many years to master them."

"Oh yeah. I've got a lifetimes worth of calluses to prove it." She says holding up her hands towards him

He lets out a light chuckle

"What about your Jiu-Jitsu? What style do you practice?"

"Mainly Brazilian. However I am familiar with some of the basic Japanese Jiu-Jitsu moves."

He hums in response

"Why Jiu-Jitsu?"

Kylie lets out a breath before answering

"When my parents found out that I was accepted into Notre Dame, the opportunity was to great not to send me. However they didn't want to send me to a foreign country with no way to defend myself. They originally wanted me to do Karate, but everyone does karate for self-defense and I wanted to be different."

Leonardo nods thoughtfully

"I think that's good for now. Thank you for sharing with me."

"Absolutely. Although I do have one question." Kylie says

Leonardo motions for her to ask

"Are you guys the Tartaruga Brother's?"

Leonardo chuckles before nodding

"Awesome." Kylie replies

But before Leonardo can respond, Casey and April make there way back into the main living area. Casey sees Kylie in the living room and heads straight for her.

"Come on Kylie. We've got to get home. You've got class in the morning" He says sternly

Kylie holds back a gulp, knowing she was going to have to listen to her brother lecturing her about her adventure in TCRI.

"Alright. I'm right behind you."

Casey nods, before looking at Leonardo and turning away. Kylie lets out a breath before putting on a smile as she looked at Leonardo.

"Well this was fun Leonardo. If I survive, perhaps we can do it again."

The turtle nods and Kylie bites back a frown as she turns to leaving.

"Kylie, wait."

She turns over her shoulder to look at him.

"Give me your phone."

Kylie gives him a look, but unlocks it and hands it to him anyways.

She watches him type in something before handing it back to her. As he does, he pulls her a little closer before speaking.

"And you can call Leo."

Kylie blushes furiously as he pulls away. But she quickly gains her composure and smiles at him.

"Alright then. Goodbye Leo."

And with that, she turned to follow behind her brother.
