it was the last day of phase two.

after listening to her friend's advice, olivia asked anthony if they could talk, again.

she left the venue and waited for anthony outside. about a minute later, anthony appeared. "hii", olivia smiled at him.

"hey, you alright?"

"uh yeah", olivia nodded her head. "so what–"

"–i think i kinda know what this talk is about", anthony accidentally cut her off.

"oh? well i'll let you speak first then", olivia gestured for him to go first.

anthony took one of her small hands in both of his huge hands, making eye contact with her for a few seconds before averting his gaze back onto their hands.

"i really like you. i do... but i don't know. it just feels like that feeling is starting to go away. and i get why, because we've hardly spoken to each other for a couple days now."

olivia slowly nodded her head in response, her eyebrows furrowing together.

"you're a really cool girl, and i love your vibe... y'know, that's why i think we'd be better off as friends."

her facial expression softened as she stared blankly at him.

"that is what you wanted to talk about right?", he stared at her face, waiting for a response from her.

olivia snapped back into reality, "mhm"

anthony pulled her into a hug and olivia hugged back. "thanks for being understanding and not flipping out or something. glad we can still be friends!"

"yeah.. same"

he planted a kiss on her forehead before slightly tightening their hug for a few seconds and letting go.

the first thing chase did after arriving back was to find olivia and make sure she was okay. she reassured him, telling him she was fine.
